"Sea of Nereids" is a collection of short stories by Sanna Oates, Mildred du Wilbur, Hanna o'Shea and Ursula Baxter, all nymphs of differing elements. Published on 10009 XA, it has met very little popularity outside the authors' own community. The stories mostly revolve around a variety of nymph heroines and their romance, family story or adventures -- primarily that one of a nyad, an ayad, a dryad and a nereid's exploration of the Nereid Sea from which the book gets its title. Experts have criticized the text to be filled with the authors' own "selfish dreams", making them "too shallow for their target readers to relate to."
