Hi there! I'm Cassiopeia Parthenopaus and I'm a real estate agent here in Elysia so I can hook you up with any kind of shelter you can afford! We have a lot of real estate for you to look at and you can live pretty much anywhere you want. You can even live out in the boondocks if you want! Although, just between you and me, I wouldn't advise that unless you can take care of yourself because there's a lot of monsters and beasties out there beyond the protection of the city limits. *shudder*

So anyway, have a gander at this pamphlet and then once you've decided where you want to live and what kind of house you can afford, come get me and we'll see what we can do!

Character Housing Options

Le Bon Hotel
Rent a room or a bunk-bed at the Le Bon Cafe & Hotel. They have very basic amenities and you could be sharing a room with 3-6 other people but they offer extremely cheap rates! You'll be sharing a bathroom and you'll be eating in the cafe downstairs but you could petition the manageress for free rent in lieu of working in the cafe for a few hours! :) Rent: $20-$100 depending on the size of the room and how many people you're sharing with.
Stabling Fees
Stable your horse or other beast of burden in a certified stable in the nearest town for a $50 fee. This one-off charge covers long-term stabling and feed. Stabling Fee: $50.
Stables for Two
Basic equipment, labour and materials to build a stable with room for up to two animals. To build this stable you must already own at least one acre of land. Purchase Price: $200.
Apartment for One
A one-bedroomed apartment with a bathroom, living room and kitchen. These flats are quite basic and only big enough for one person but at $500 they're a bargain! Purchase Price: $500.
One Acre of Land
If you'd like to live outside the city for some peace and quiet, why not build your own place? Ideal for the smaller home, this one-acre plot can be claimed almost anywhere in Elysia. Purchase price: $800.
Log Cabin for One
Basic equipment, labour and materials to build a one-bedroomed log cabin with a bathroom, living room and kitchen. You must already own at least one acre of land. Purchase Price: $800.
Apartment for Two
Similar to the one-bedroomed apartments, these are slightly larger with two bedrooms and can house two people. They're still quite basic, though. Purchase Price: $800.
Luxury Apartments
Why not buy a luxurious one-bedroomed apartment? They come with a bathroom, living room and kitchen. Purchase Price: $1,000.
You could also buy one of the remaining three-bedroomed penthouse suites in the Cloud Palace! These suites consist of two separate storeys so the rooms are much larger and there are internal stairs so you have complete privacy! Purchase Price: $5,000.
Two Acres of Land
Perfect for medium-sized homes, two acres go a long way. All manner of wildlife will find its way onto a plot of this size and you can even build your own stable! Purchase price: $1,500.
Four Acres of Land
This plot is four acres and provides plenty of room to grow. It's perfect for the larger homes. Purchase price: $3,000.
Two-Bedroomed Bungalow
A two-bedroomed one-storey house with a front lawn, main bathroom and master en-suite, a living room and a kitchen. Perfect for new families or roommates with pets! Purchase price: $4,000.
Three-Bedroomed Semi
A two-bedroomed semi-detached house with a front lawn, main bathroom and master en-suite, a living room and a kitchen. Perfect for new families or roommates with pets! Purchase price: $7,000.
House
A five-bedroomed house with a spacey front lawn, a medium-sized back yard, two shared bathrooms plus a master en-suite, a living room, a study and a kitchen. Purchase price: $10,000.
Mansion
An eight-bedroomed mansion with a large surrounding garden, five shared bathrooms and two en-suites, a living room, a study, a dining room and a kitchen. Purchase price: $20,000.

Reselling a House

Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry you're not happy with your home anymore but I'm sure I can get you a good deal! And perhaps a new place to move into? ;)

All right, well if you're sure you want to sell up, you have two options: I can either get you cash for half the amount you bought it for, or I can give you the same amount (that is, half of the purchase price) as a discount towards a new home. It's up to you! Just remember to let me know if you're using the resale value of your current home towards a new house so I can do the appropriate math. :)
