(Beast Dragon Siphae played by Kade)

Laying down near Kade, Siphae sucked in her breath and let out a soft puff of smoke. It had been all fun until they reached the market. Now it seemed to be all talk. Her mind wandered back to the juicy meal she'd left back at home, and the horde she'd been counting as well. It amazed her how much she'd been able to collect over time. And unlike her brothers, her horde wasn't useless junk. Most of it was gems and precious metal. She knew, because Kade had told her as much.

Thinking of the collection she'd acquired made her feel giddy inside, lightening the tone of her feeling in the present. Lifting her gaze at the Nymph before them, Siphae cocked her head slightly at the womans words. Trouble? Kade... I could help you if what the Nymph says is true. The idea of a good battle eased her mind. She liked to challenge herself. She wasn't sure what exactly would challenge her here, but the thought was still intriguing.

Looking away from the three toward the fountain, the thought of a refreshing drink sounded good, but something caught her eye. Seeing the glint of shine atop the Nymphs head, Siphae turned and looked. eying it carefully, she found herself wanting to do something she hadn't done in a long time. Steal. But it was so pretty.

Glancing at Kade and Dazadi, Sipahe looked back at the Nymph. The three were busily talking... she could take it... nip off and store it, then nip back for the battle. Yes... that sounded good. Standing to her full height, Siphae leaned forward and took the Nymphs head dress in her teeth quickly. Moving away from the three so she could port without injuring them or taking them with her, Siphae prepared to stash her new treasure.

[Dazadi]

Still studying the trio around the fountain, wondering what they were standing there for - this wasn't a show and she didn't like being stared at - Dazadi was a bit slow on the uptake. Before she knew it, Phae had teethed the headband right off Castalia's head and was wandering off with it.

Completely dumbfounded, Dazadi's jaw dropped, then she sniggered. Then she giggled. Then she outright guffawed. Ph-Phae... Trying to smother her laughter with her hand, since she really doubted Castalia would be amused, Dazadi waved at Kade meaningfully. Phae was his dragon, he could stop her. Daz was too busy laughing anyway.

[Arkadios]

Kade followed Dazadi's gaze to the fountian. Noticing the other handing around looking toward Castalia, he furrowed his brow. Was this some sort of hunting party? A small mob ready to journy on a quest gone sour? Or were they just on looker swith nothing better to do than stand there an qawk. Shaking his head, Kade turned to look back at Dazadi.

Not paying attention to his dragon friend, Kade looked at Dazadi quizzically when she started laughing. Lifting a brow, a smile crept to his face too as he watched the laughing escilate. Wondering what she found so funny, he was just about to turn when he heard Dazadi call out Phae's name between laughs. Spinning around to face the dragon sneaking off, Kade caught a glimpse of Castalia's belonging. Letting out a gasp, partically out of amusment and partically out of shock, Kade moved forward quickly and took Phae by the neck.

Just as he was about to move forward more to scold Siphae and take back Castalia's headband, an interesting feeling came over him. Frowning only slightly, he glanced up. Hearing a slight commotion toward the portal, Kade looked to see an Anyeli being torn to shreds. His eyes wide, Kade looked to Dazadi, locking eyes with her, just before Phae poofed away... him with her.

[Dazadi]

For the second time in as many minutes, Dazadi's jaw dropped. Kade! Panic swamped her as he disappeared but before she could tell herself he'd just been caught in Phae's 'port, and that the horrified look in his eyes was just because he hadn't meant to leave her like that, Dazadi heard a scream.

Spinning around, her hand already reaching for her sword, Dazadi scanned the market square in an instant. Creatures she didn't recognise, Castalia's asking for help - and ugh, that poor Apalos.

She started racing toward the creatures, already yelling orders, not quite registering the fact that her hand had come up empty until she was already halfway across the square and swooping toward one of the beasts.

Castalia, you -, pointing randomly at one of the three around the fountain, - see what's left of that Apalos and get him to the -

At the last second, she realised she didn't have her sword - that it was still fastened around Phae's neck - and turned her attack into a kick, knocking the creature - what the hell was it, anyway? - away from the screaming Apalos into the wall of the tattoo parlour.

Although teleporting had never really effected him.. deffinatly not after such a long time of doing them, Kade found himself wavering a bit when Phae had reached her distination. He'd seen it coming, but hadn't had time to prepare for it. Especially not when seeing what he'd seen.

As his eyes and body adjusted to the port and new lighting, Kade fumbled forward. When he made it to the other side of the port, he'd let go of Phae when trying to maintain his balance. Reaching around in front of him, his eyes adjusted fully just as his hand landed on the carcass of a rather large half eaten buffalo. Pulling back his hand quickly, Kade's face wrinkled in disgust. if he wasn't friends with the being that ate this animal... he'd probably be running out of the place screaming.

Hope you washed your hands.

Turning at her voice, Kade looked around for Phae. Unlike actual speaking, you can't tell where the voice was coming from. Which a lot of the time was more annoying than anything. Finally laying eyes on his friend, she was placing the Nymphs headband on top of a rather large pile of precious gems. Rushing over to her, Kade's mind blocked out why they were there. Reaching a hand to Phae's muzzle, Kade held it firmly and forced the great dragon to look at him. Dazadi's in trouble... we need to go... now!

Normally he wasn't so harsh, but his lifemate was in danger. Siphae would understand. Walking to her side, Kade moved to climb onto her back when his eyes spotted a rather familar Katana. Cocking his head slightly, he eyed it, then made his was over. Gripping the handle, he picked it up and looked at it for a moment. It was his first weapon he'd ever had. He'd been given it on the day his final training was compleated. It ment a lot of hard work...

Scowling, Kade looked up at Phae. I'm taking this back. He projected rather harshly. Jogging back to her side, he lifted himself up onto her back. Be ready to fly when we get there. Maybe he was being a little hard... but he never thought this deep into thier friendship she'd steal from him... Dragon or no.

When Siphae poofed in after launching herself off the cliff of her mountain, Kade scanned the market around them. it was a tight squeeze for Phae to be flying, and her wings scrapped the walls of the shops as she went. Spotting Dazadi in battle with on of the monsters he'd seen eariler, his heart jumped to his throat. There was no way she could fight and protect herself. Not as she was.

There, by the fountian! Kade projected to Siphae. Feeling her shift her weight toward Dazadi's direction, Kade pulled his Katana from his lap and ducked low. When Phae finally positioned herself near the lunging beast, Kade swung his katana low, aiming to decapitate the beast. Dazadi move! He called out, not wanting her to get in the way of his attack.

[Alieh]

Shocked Alieh watched as...things...came through the portal. They were obviously vicious, although what on earth they were Alieh hadn't a clue. There seemed to be one drinking out of the fountain pretty near to her. Instinctively she hissed, even though she was in human form. Reaching behind her back she pulled out her staff and held it tightly. She fouced on growing her claws - they might come in useful.

The thing was eyeing them, she decided to attack before it had the chance to attack them, she stepped up on the side of the platform, and gazed into the creatures eye for a moment, time seemed to stand still, then suddenly she swung her staff as hard as she could, aiming for the creature's head,

[Chris]

Chris sat down on the edge of the fountain, putting her bag down next to her. She unzipped it, and pulled out a pair of black yoga pants that she pulled on under her skirt, and then removed the skirt from over it. She grabbed her sneakers, and bent down over her knees, replacing her black strappy wedges. Just as she finished tying the second shoe, she heard a scream. She looked up to see an anyeli being attacked by some... thing. She didn't even know how to describe it. She turned towards the fountain, ready to throw up into it. She froze as she turned.

Across the fountain from her was another thing. It was staring at her, drinking the water. Chris swallowed. Oh -zap-. Keeping her eyes on the thing, she reached her hand into her bag, feeling around until her hand landed on the two daggers. She pulled them out slowly, and held them behind her back. She stood up on the edge of the fountain, and climbed up on the same figure that the girl had yelled for help from earlier. She sat, holding onto the figure with her left hand, while still holding one of the daggers in the same hand. She raised the other dagger in her right hand, and aimed down towards the thing. Chris took a few deep breaths, readying herself to throw it. She raised her arm, and ...

The other girl started attacking the thing. Chris let her arm fall limp. She wasn't sure enough of her aim to send it towards the thing without hitting the girl. She jumped down from the figure into the fountain, swearing under her breath. She waded over to her bag, pulled the sword out of it, and left the daggers on the edge. She put her hand on the edge, and swung her legs out onto the ground. She moved around to the other side of the fountain, and came up behind the beast, raising her sword above her head, and attempted to plunge it down into its back.

[Dialto]

Dialto arrived at the fountain, slightly out of breath. His lack of sleep was finally catching up on him. He started to plan how he would attack, and then realized that he didn't have any weapons. Ohhhhhh -zap-. I should have just stayed on the building. He looked around, and noticed the two daggers that one of the girls had left on the fountain edge. He grabbed them, calling out a Thanks!

He started towards the beast by the fountains, but then remembered the third beast, the one that was moving to help the one that had attacked the anyeli. Dialto ran towards it, and threw a dagger, aiming for its neck. He saved the other one to use later.

[Dracos]

Dracos ran out of his shop at the sound of a loud thud against the wall. What the hell is going on here? Looking around he saw the strange creatures running around the market square. He stared in shock as as he realized what was happening these strange creatures were attacking Elysians. Looking around he heard the screaming of an Apalos not really thinking he conjured up a fire ball and aimed a spray at another one of those things that was coming to help its partner. Seeing another demon launch a dagger he yelled at him Hey Demon watch out Fire ball volley headed your way!

[Dialto]

After releasing his dagger, Dialto stood ready, waiting to see what would happen. He heard a call behind him. Hey Demon watch out Fire ball volley headed your way! He turned to see a fireball headed directly towards his face, and he dropped to the ground as it singed the top of his hair.

He looked at the demon who threw the fireball, and noticed he had never seen him before. Thanks for the warning. he called, slightly sarcastically. He pushed with his hands on the ground, brought his legs forward, and stood up, looking back at the beast.

[Kaeldra]

Kaeldra walked around the corner to see, scene of pure hell. She smacked her forehead, she SO needed to get a weapon. In the middle of the confusion she grabbed the Anyeli who was attacked and ran for the hospital, the man dragged on the ground and his weight was almost too much to bear, but she made it too the hospital, just in time.

Kaeldra returned, she was wearing some leather armor and had three daggers strapped onto each leg, and a short sword in her hand. She saw a beast have a dagger thrown at it, then a fireball and she grinned. Grabbing two daggers she threw them, aiming for the creatures chest. Then, she got out the sword and attempted to hit the thing in any way, just to injure it.

[Chenoan]

Chenoan flew through the portal and darted into the air quickly. Looking down he eyed the battle going on below. "Is that a Dragon!?... -zap-!" He thought as he recognized the beasts attacking the group. "Daz! Don't kill it! It'll split into another one!" Chenoan called to the anyeli telepathically.

Chenoan didn't have time to worry about that though, so he continued to fly towards the hospital. "-zap-, Max is on that quest still, i hope the other healer's there." Chenoan thought anxiously as he landed in front of the hospital, Dora still in his arms.

[Dazadi]

Dazadi move!

Dazadi threw herself forward into a roll and came up on her feet with her dagger in her hand, facing the beast she'd thrown against the wall in time to see Kade slice and dice from Phae's back. Grinning with pride, she shook her head at him even though he wasn't looking at her. You know, I can take care of myself, love.

And hey! I want my sword back!

Glancing around at the utter chaos in the marketplace, Dazadi winced as someone started screeching in her head. Oh, -zap-. If what Chen said was true, these things were everywhere. They moved fast, and...

What the hell?

Just as Chenoan yelled at her not to kill it, she saw the one Kade had destroyed rise up, two totally new creatures. This... was beyond anything she'd dealt with before.

Spinning to face the other Elysians who were fighting, she yelled, Don't kill them, they respawn! Over the chaos, she wasn't sure she was heard - and how the hell were they meant to kill the wretched things properly anyway?

Well there was no point in so many fighting the same few creatures - and there were some loose in the forest, according to Chenoan. Daz didn't want to lose track of them. Love, we need to go to the forest. Hopefully, the fighters here would hear her and have the brains to keep the beasts occupied without respawning them.

After slicing the monsters head clean off, Kade leaned back on Siphae as she swooped up to avoid crashing into the ground. Suddenly a loud screech emmited from his friend as the monster grazed its nails along her belly. Phae, are you alright? He projected toward her worried. Not getting a responce other than a flash of the moster dying repeatidly, Kade grinned. Whatever these things were, they -yoinks- her off.

Holding on tightly as Siphae turned mid air, she swooped back toward the creatures ready to attack. Hearing Dazadi call out just as Phae began to breathe in deep to let out a good scoard on the nearest monster, Kade pulled back on Phaes neck, trying to stop her attack. After goaning mentally to him, Siphae let out a large puff of black smoke through a snort in her nose.

Not a moment later did Kade hear Dazadi's voice in his head. Phae, we need to pick up Dazadi for a port to the forest. Shifting his weight along with hers as she turned about, her wing scraping the walls of the cavern, Kade ducked down and reached out for Dazadi as soon as he was close enough. Taking hold of her outstreched arm, Kade hoisted her up as Phae flew, placing her in front of him. Careful of her stomach, Kade held on tightly as the feeling of Siphae's port came over him.

[Suka]

Bursting outside, Suka thrust his wings hard and lifted to the air. The chaos around him was insane, and it took all he had to spot Castalia. Seeing her standing in front of the Electronics shop, Suka tilted in air to guide himself toward her. Using all his might to fly toward her, weaving though buildings and avoiding monsters around him, he aimed for Castalia. Seeing one of the creates recreating itself from death before his very eyes, Suka tugged at his chain until it fell, ready to be used.

Diving down low, he began to whip his chain until its speed was full force. With as much power as he could, Suka let on end fly, aiming for the monsters head as he passed over it. Not bothering to see if it made contact, Suka pulled up and landed at a run before Castalia. Moving quickly towards her, his eyes gazed over her body checking for wounds. Seeing none, he reached out and took her in his arms, not caring if she didn't want comfort in that moment.

Breaking away from her, Suka didn't wait to explain, compromise, or kiss her. She was leaving the market, and that was that. Bending down slightly Suka picked Castalia up in his arms and thrust his wings until he was in the air. You're not staying here, I don't want you hurt. His words were final, and in a tone he'd never used with her before. More softly, quietly, he followed with the horrible news. Dora is in my wing... Cas... it's bad.

Kaeldra heard with Dazadi said and halted, she then started to run around the nearest monster thing she saw, hoping to confuse it.
"DONT KILL THEM!" she yelled as she ran
"THEY RESPAWN!!!" she stopped ad pointed to the new ones, hoping people would hear her and distract them, like Dazadi told them too.

[Alieh]

((OOC: I'm kinda unsure of what happened with Alieh's attempt to hit the thing before Chris hit it, because the sentients didn't mention it, so I'm pretending it didn't happen. ))

Alieh heard Dazadi's cry, and though secondslater someone else - she didn't spot who - yelled the same cry again, louder this time.

Alieh hadn't a clue what to do, how did you kill something, when killing it made it stronger? She placed her staff back on her back and proceeded to climb up the fountain, where she could get a bird's eye view on the square.

It didn't help much.

Maybe you could stun them or something. Maybe if you stunned them and then buried them they couldn't respan.

Oh yeah, great plan Alieh she thought sarcasticly to herself, that should be easy. Stun all these things, making sure not to kill, and then keep them stunned long enough to dig a very big whole, chuck them all in and fill it in again. Piece of cake.

She noticed the new ones were slightly smaller. Maybe that ment that if you kept killing them they'd get to harmless size? Great in theory, but if it's wrong it means an army of these things.

She shifted to her lynx form and leaped down from the statue. She went for the closest thing, and ran straight for it. She tried to confuse it. She made it look as if she was going to leap on top of it, but that the very last moment she attempted to duck down and run below it.
