[Dracos]

Dracos watched as his fireballs singed the fur of the beast before him. He was about to let loose another volley when he heard Dazadi's cry over the ruckus. What the hell?! They respawn?! When he turned back around he saw the younger demon fall under the huge creature. Aiming a fist sized fire ball at it he aimed at it's face and made to grab the younger demon from underneath him.

[Castalia]

As the Dragon introduced himself as Rhea and then referred to Dazadi as his wife, Castalia was stunned for a moment. Dazadi? Someone's wife? Well Elysia never seizes to amaze me... she thought to herself. Then suddenly the large beast dragon that accompagnied them made a move and took off her headband, only to poof away before she had a chance to react.

Sligtly stunned she turned to Dazadi to explain what had happened in the forest. The creature that came out the portal, Chen and Dora who were going up against it alone, the danger. But before a single word left her lips the Market Square was emerged in chaos and confusion. Several creatures came through the portal making havoc. In a matter of seconds there was fighting all around her. Castalia moved to help the Anyelos that got attacked first but Kaeldra got to himn first and dragged him off to the hospital. Castalia moved slightly closer to the fountain, avoiding to get attacked the best she could. She couldn't fight but maybe her power over water could be of use somehow.

Suddenly she was swooped off her feet and flew into the air. It was Suka.You're not staying here, I don't want you hurt. he said to her, and she sensed in his voice a seriousness that she hadn't heard before. Then Dora is in my wing... Cas... it's bad.. Castalia looked into his eyes as she felt a fear for her friends' life. She looked down to the Market Square. A group of good fighters had gathered there now and she had confidence they would find a way to win over the monsters. She looked up to Suka again "Take me to her.".

OOC: All godmodding of Castalia till now was fine, sorry for my absence in the weekend.

[Alieh]

Instinctively Alieh reared up and hissed. She tried to make herself as pick as possible. She had heard that was how you scared lions away, make as big a fuss and appear as threatening as you could, and apparantly, that was supposed to scare them. Except she hadn't exactly tried it.

She saw the two that had knocked into each other staring at one another. Hoping to confuse them more she leaped and sailed through the air towards that one who had come to help the other, She didn't want to kill - she probably couldn't anyway - but she was hoping to knock it down and give it a headache or something.

[Dracos]

Dracos pulled up another fire ball realizing that he had discovered a way to fend off th creatures without actually killing them. These animals hate fire this could be the key to out win. He was about to yell out when he felt claws dig into his back. and a tail whip dangerously near his face. Taking a step back he sent the flame he held in his hand at the creature that had just attacked him. Not looking to see in the ball hit it's mark Dracos made his way to the fountain as he ran he let out a loud call. Do not kill these creatures! Obviously they respawn! They hate Fire and the smell of burnt things! If you conjure Fire aim at them if not Grab sticks and I will light them for you!

[Kaeldra]

Kaeldra was running when a monster knocked her over, and two hit her wings. Unfourtunitly, the membre there is very thin, and painful when injured. Tears streaming down her face and fear gripping her at the two monsters who seemed to be argueing over who was going to kill her.
An hour ago A few minutes ago, she thought I was taking an almost dead anyeli to the hospital, now someone might hav to do that for me. She called out to no one in particular
"Help!!" the poison was taking a great toll on her, even though she had a high threshold for pain. Her vision flickered for a few moments then returned to normal, leaving her mortified and in great pain about what else would hapen. And, she was no fighter, getting weapons had only been to scare them, and now look at the position she was in!

This battle is happening fairly quickly so at most it's been fifteen minutes since the Khimaira arrived in the marketplace.

[Dialto]

Dialto watched as his dagger flew past the beast, not making a scratch. He closed his eyes for one quick second, and suddenly he was knocked on the ground, out of breath. He opened his eyes, and immeadiately wished he had keeped them closed.

He was pinned under one of the beasts, and he could see a clump of drool hanging from its mouth that was slowly falling towards his neck. Cringing, he closed his eyes. He thought for sure that this was the end. Suddenly, he remembered he still had one more dagger. He didn't pay attention as he heard girls yelling in the background. He moved his hand as much as he could, finding the dagger he had dropped. He picked it up, and tried to figure out how he could strike.

Before he had the chance, a fireball hit the beast's face. As it ran away, a hand secured around Dialto's arm and pulled him up. Thanks, he said. He turned to see the same demon as before being attacked. He made a move with his dagger again, but the demon threw a fireball in his face as well.

He listened as the demon ran up on the fountain and yelled. At this point, he had really wished he had leveled already, and chosen fire as well. But, he hadn't, so he looked around, trying to find a stick. Spotting one, he grabbed it, and ran after the demon. He held it up to the demon. Care to light it?

[Chris]

Chris smiled as the sword sunk into the thing's back. Her victory was short lived, however, as its tail tore up her stomach. She screamed silently, bending over. Keeping her left arm across her stomach, blocking the bleeding as she best could, she reached with her right hand to pull out the sword. She backed up and her eyes widened in horror as she realized the thing was splitting, and that she was now facing two things. Her sword clattered on the ground, and she reached forward, slowly, grabbing her sword. She turned and ran as fast as she could.

If we can't kill them, what can we do? Trap them somewhere? But how are we going to do that? And what if there's more?! Oh Xanth, I can't handle this. Chris decided to head for the hospital instead. She thought she could just go in quickly, get healed, and come back out to fight.

She thought about going for her bag, but decided it wasn't important. She heard a scream, and turned, wondering what horror she'd see next. Her eyes found a young anyeli pinned to the ground by one of those thing, and another thing was nearby. Chris took a deep breath, and move toward them as fast as she could, leaning on her sword for support. When she reached them, she raised her sword. She aimed for the back leg of the thing that was on the girl, hoping to just distract him so the girl could run off, but not to kill him. She hoped she'd be able to run as well.

If he gets off, she called, her voice wavering as she brought down the sword, run to the hospital as fast as you can.

[Kaeldra]

Kaeldra was afraid, more afraid then when Rain was almost dead, more afraid then if she wasnt going to catch Jade if she fell in the Alps, so many things could happen at that moment and she didnt fancy any of them unless they involved her living whitch quite a few didnt. And when the girl charged with a sword Kaeldra nearly fainted.

"If he gets off, run to the hospital as fast as you can." she nodded, feeling nausated. Her wings had a permendent scar and where turning the a purple black faster then they should. She closed her eyes and braced for impact, only barely hearing the girls comment about going to the hospital, of course it was what she was going to do but it was okay. Opening an eye, she saw Jade look at her through the hospital window and as a tear rolled down her cheek she tryed to stay still and relax, for Jade if not anyone else.

[Dracos]

Dracos turned to see the young demon he had just saved with a large branch. Sparking a flame he lit the branch. Demons gotta stick together. If it goes out just find me. Turning toward the battle he surveyed the area trying to find where all the creatures where. There were two near a lynx which obviously suggested that the cat was a shifter. She seemed to be holding her own. Turning toward the direction of a scream he focused on a young Anyeli pinned by a beast. Her wings were turning purple and black to fast. So many younglings are here this is not right.

Running toward her he saw another being aim a swipe at the creatures leg with her sword. He realized she was injured and left immediately after the attack. Pulling up another fireball volley he aimed it at the creature hoping that it would have the same effect and run from the fire and that he would get off of the young Anyeli. reaching out his hand for the anyeli to grab he pulled up another fireball as if daring the creature to continue it\'s attack.

[Kaeldra]

Kaeldra felt the poison seeping into her system and knew that if she didnt get help she would die soon. Her vision blurred and had to focus on staying awake. Seeing the sword above her she was glad it didnt hit her flesh.
All she could do now was wait, and watch.

To Kaeldra, everything was in slow motion, the fireball went right above her head, singing the top of her black hair. There was a moment of intense heat, and then nothing. She tryed to reach out for the demons hand and then her arm fell. Her mind finally started to blank and darkness filled her vision. She whispered
"Tell them I'm sorry." and then fell into a coma.

She could see wonderful things in her dreams, her tribe, her love Rain alive and the sky blue. She could fly through this sky forever, lost in the bliss of wind on her face and the clouds below. She always wanted to be a healer, so why she got a weapon was a suprise. She would NEVER wield a weapon again unless fourced too under life-threatning circumstances.

[Alieh]

Alieh felt the slash on her leg, but thought nothing of it. Just a minor cut, she scoffed, and quickly got away from teh frenzy of the two things. However, looking back, she relised if the two killed each other they might respawn. She heard a demon yelling something about them being vounrable to fire.

Grabbing a stick she made her way to the Demon to get it lit, however on teh way over she felt a seering pain in her leg. She gasped. and tripped up. Suddenly she found she hadn't the energy to get herself up. She tried to pull herself up onto her feet but couldn't.

She lost grip of her human form and slipped back into cat. Her vision started to go blurry.

[Niles]

Niles had been watched the events from the sidelines, not exactly sure how to help. He had no weapons or even a strong form to fight with.

He was just about to grab a stick and ask teh demon to light it when he noticed Alieh was attacked and collapsing to the ground, droppng his stick he ran over to her. He couldn't tell if she was unconsious or not.

Hastily he picked her up in his arms, "Alieh, can you here me?" He had watched enough people to relise that the things could inflict poison, and she would need healing quickly.

[Suka]

As Suka prepared to go to Castalia's shop with her, he glanced toward the raging war in the market. It was still... overwhelming that such havioc could be created in a generally a calm place. Yet, here it was, and he was the only healer around to help. Of course Castalia's potions would help so much, and Jade's assistance was... very much needed. In fact... he heard Max had an assistant... quite possibly Suka should hire one too... maybe Jade?

Seeing the chaos before him, Suka cringed. He wanted to help... he needed to help. But how could he one, leave Castalia, two, put himself in danger... when he was the only one who could heal anyone? It wasn't until he saw one of his own fledglings pass out that he felt the fear and anger compile into one massive drive. Turning to Castalia, he looked her dead in the face. Cas... don't follow me, and don't go to your shop alone. Looking around her into his office, Suka called out to Jade. Jade! Please go with Castalia to her shop for supplies! Squeezing his girlfriends hand, he smiled at her, then turned, spread his wings, and took flight.

Within a matter of moments he was flying above Kaeldra. Gliding down, he landed on his knees before her. Immediately his fingers went to her neck to check her pulse. It was weak, but nothing like he'd not healed before... certainly nothing like the Apalos who'd died earlier. Scooping her up into his arms, Suka held her firmly as he stood up. She was light, which was easier for him. Seeing a young woman close by, she looked depleted of energy as well. His eyes scanned her body, looking for signs of injury when they fell upon her torn stomach. The blood that pumped out of it was too much to prevent her from soon passing out as well.

With the fledgling in his arms, Suka walked toward the girl. This would be hard... but he could do it. Get on my back. I'll fly you to the hospital He commanded. He needed to get out of here, before Elysia didn't ave a healer left to heal. And fighting with a warrior in telling her she needed to be healed as something he could not waste his time on. With Kaeldra in his arms, he couldn't force the girl... but he wanted to help.

[Dracos]

Dracos looked up for a second to see the beast running away from his fireballs. Any other time he would have laughed but now was not the time. He watched as Suka picked up the Anyeli and moved away as soon as she was with him. Just as he turned he heard a scream, apparently a fireball had hit it\'s mark.

Looking for the lynx Dracos saw that in it\'s place was a small cat. A boy ran into the square with no visual weapon and no form of protection. He ran over to them and knelt next to the boy. I think you might want to get her to the hospital and get yourself out of danger as well. If she doesn\'t get treatment fast the poison will take effect quickly.

[Alieh]

Alieh felt someone starting to pick her up, she knew it was Niles without even looking, she could feel his mind even though her own was so far gone. There was another there too, she could hear his voice.

Alieh managed to open her eyes sightly, poison?!?! Well that's just great. She managed to pull her head up slightly. "The two things.....the ones I was fighting....." she spluttered, "they're going to kill each other and respawn soon." She slumped back unconsious, her last thought was a hope that he'd got her massage through.

[Namiko]

Miko opened his eyes and felt his feet on solid ground. The cobbles of the marketplace were still there, not as polished as he remembered, but it was the Marketplace afor sure. The buildings seemed a little shabbier, but as Miko looked down at himself he realised he also had grown a little tatty. He smiled sadly, and looked at the Elysians he'd delivered home.

"Erm. Well, thanks guys. I better go and see the boss." He said with a wink, looking forward to meeting his old friend.

"I'll see you around." Miko said with a final glance at each of the questers, and with a wave transported himself to Xanth's Temple.

[Daoine]

With a soft thud Daoine felt her feet touching the ground. She had kept her eyes firmly closed during Namiko's transportation and had no idea where he had brought them. As soon as she was standing on solid ground again she heard screams and clashing of weapons aswell as an immense stream of emotions. Quickly opening her eyes, Daoine gasped for breath at the sight.

They were on the Marketsquare. But instead of the peacefull image of the fountain surrounded by trees, shops and happy chattering people there was havoc and chaos all around. A few large beasts she hadn't seen before seemed to be causing all this trouble. She saw dead and injured people all around the square, aswell as several brave ones that were trying to fight the monsters off.

Immediately Daoine dropped down her backpack and got her spear out. The feelings of everyone were overwhelming and she shut the emotions out as good as she could. She needed to be fully concentrated to fight. Sensing the emotions of the frightened and injured Elysians was just too disturbing at this point. Then she realized that she hadn't even checked if the rest of the group had transported safely aswell and she quickly looked around to locate the others.

[Niles]

Niles lifted right Alieh up off the ground, he was pretty sure the demonhad heard her, and Niles would leave it to him whether or not to act on it or not. That wasn't his problem right now. He knew Alieh was alive, he could sense her mind and he knew that, unconscience though she may be, she wasn't dead.

But she also didn't have a lot of time.

Quickly, he tried to dart accross the market place, Gwyn close behind. He hoped he'd be able to make it without being mauled by any nearby beasts.

Turning a corner, he quickly headed for the hospital.
