Suka's mind buzzed. The man that had been in here left a nasty taste in his mouth. If it wern't for his stupied flash back, he would have pumled that guy into a bean bag. Annoyed that he wasn't able to vent his frusterations, an idea came across his mind, followed by a smirk on his face. If he himself wasn't able to get to this guy, then he'd make his life a living hell.

Suka knew that in Elysia, most others where very polite, and basicly law obiding. The MPD hardly had any chance for action. And here was this guy barging in like a Jr. officer. Shooting Ryou a look, he barked at him, pointing. You. Stay here. Without explination, Suka leaned forward in his chair and grabed the phone. Dialing the number, he waited for a responce. When th woman he spoke to eariler answered, he spoke forcefully in the phone.

Listen, I need One of your officers to come down here right away. Actually, I want Zephyr. Now. Once he got the assurance that Zephyr would be paged, he hung up the phone, and turned back to Ryou. When he gets here, I want you to tell him exactly what you told that guy. Mumbling to himself, Suka sat back in his chair and softly shook his head. Little :potty: thinks he can come into my wing, act that way, then walk off scott free? HAH! Looking up at the Demon who still stood there Suka frowned. You're still here? He barked.

[Zephyr]

Zephyr walked through the doors of the hospital wing he'd been paged to go to. "House calls, so fun." Zephyr thought sarcastically as he rolled closed eyes. Scanning the group Zephyr spotted a few vaguely familiar faces.

The angel he was looking for was soon spotted and Zephyr walked over to him. "What seems to be the issue?" He asked. "And why did you ask for me?" Zephyr tagged onto the end mentally.

[Suka]

Suka stood up when Zephyr came into his wing. He rememberd him from the quest, and knew he didn't take the kind of crap that this shifter pulled. Normally Suka wouldn't just stand for anyone, but this matter need to be addressed firmly, and lounging in a chair wasn't what he was looking for. Coming around the corner, he met Zephyr in front of the counter. Not bothering with formalities, he dove stright into his speech.

Alright, this is plain and simple. You have a reporter gone Jr. Cop. Want more information, talk to Ryou. Oh... and he refused to leave my wing when i told him to. So... try not to be nice. With that he turned to Ryou and barked at him. Tell him what you told the shifter. Especially that last few parting sentences. Walking to the counter, he leaned against it and listened to what Ryou was about to say. Although Suka had been out of it, he caught a few things, especially toward the end. He could honestly care less about mahesa and her attacker, just just wanted to make the shifters live a living hell. And having Zephyr on his back would help move that along. Teach him not to listen to me. Next time I won't be so nice.

[Ryou]

Oh Xanth, I'm gonna get irritated. He'd only told the idiotic 'shifter what he wanted to know because he thought it'd get him out of his hair. But Suka called the market police, and then Zephyr had shown up. Ryou sighed. People really weren't making this easy. But then again, he probably wasn't making it very easy for Suka...

"We--Mahesa and I, that is-- were walking in the park in NYC, and I... Got to thinking, What about really isn't that important. I was just sort of... Wallowing. So I offered to get lemonade, taking the walk to clear my head. I turned, and she was lying on the ground, farther from where I'd left her. A knife was... In her side. I pulled it out, because I'm an IDIOT, and thought it would help. It didn't, so I used my shirt to try and stop the bleeding.

"Dazadi showed up. First she thought I'd stabbed Mahesa. And then somehow Mahesa got the strength to move, and she crawled. Before she went through a portal, Dazadi through a dagger at Mahesa. I honestly don't know too much else of what happened afterwards.

"I guess she ended up outside Aithe's home and was brought here."

[Suka]

Suka looked at Ryou. Frowning, he crossed his arms. And what did the shifter say to you? Mainly, what was the impression he left? Suka could have said it, but he wanted Ryou too. That way this wasn't coming stright from him.

[Zephyr]

Zephyr sighed. "I hope it's not that shifter from the department. If he tries to be a cop he'll get himself killed." Zephyr thought, groaning as he walked ofer to Suka. "OK, what happned?" Zephyr asked bluntly. He wasn't in the mood for a stupid shifter's dumb actions.

As Ryou told his tale, Zephyr nodded and wrote down notes on his pad. After the Angel spoke Zephyr glared at him. "I need an un-tainted accounting for my report." Zephyr said. Turning his attentions back to Ryou Zephyr looked at him sympathetically. "Go on, what happened next?" He asked.

[Ryou]

He sighed. Ryou had been hoping he would be able to answer all of these things after everything was done, but that wasn't what was happening. "I've been here, and then... Aeitius, I think it was? Well, he came in, wanting information for an article, claiming he wanted to know the "Truth". In my opinion, which is biased so it probably can't be used, he was a pain in the rear." He sighed, deciding to add -why- the 'shifter made him angry.

"Basically, he was persistant and annoying, and then pretty much told Suka that he wasn't in charge, or he wouldn't be starting 'problems', or something. He wouldn't leave, and... Yeah, this just sounds pretty biased, so it probably won't be of much help." The dragon clutched Mahesa's pale hand. She'd be okay. She'd be okay.

[Suka]

Suka shot a look back to Zephyr. He wasn't about to fight with an officer, but if he kept challanging him, he didn't know what he would do. After Ryou told most of it, Suka let out a breath. No. Turning to Zephyr, he looked him in the eye. The guy basicly said that he'd be working this unsolved case, and told him to hope he found the suspect. Now i'm not a cop, nor would i ever be one, but what does that sound like to you? Walking back around the counter, Suka stood behind it. Whatever, I just thought you should know. I severly did not like his attitude toward me, and if I hadn't been... busy. I would have introduced my fist to his face.

Looking up a Ryou, he gave him a look as to not say that he had already attempted that. Then he looked back to Zephyr. Like I said, whatever. I just called you because I knew you. With the quest and all. Gonna let that :potty: take your job? He said with a smirk.

[Zephyr]

Zephyr shot a slight glare as the angel interupted him once again. Writing down the angel's statement as well, Zephyr sighed. "There's not much I can truly do about it right now. But we will look for the person who attacked Mahesa." Zephyr said. "You can be sure of that."

[Suka]

Suka was taken aback a bit. Zephyr seemed to have a rather large stick up his :potty:. Scowling, he looked him stright in the eye. If I thought this was the reaction i was going to get, I would have called someone else. What are you? Too weak to stand up for your own job? of course you are. letting out a laugh, he stared the dragon down. Wasn't it you who went down first when the Hind attacked. Yea, thats right. leaving the ladies to defend you. Laughing, Suka looked at Ryou. He probably didn't have the same sense of humor. Dragons always stick togther. Either that or he'd be to worried about his girlfriend thing.

[Zephyr]

Zephyr paused and glared at Suka for 1 second as he reached is right hand over his shoulder and grabbed the hilt oh his sword. Swiftly pulling out the blade, Zephyr reached his left hand under his armpit and grabbed his axe's handle. Clicking the axe's straps with a quick pull Zephyr assumed a battle stance.

"Never talk about me that way fool." Zephyr said, pointing the sizeable sword at the angel's chest while the poison and blood stained axe drooped it's blade to the floor behind him. "challenging those stronger than you can be hazardous to your health, healer." Zephyr said in a halk scoff.

[Suka]

Suka raised an eyebrow at the weapons pointed before him. Letting out a laugh, he put his finger on the tip of the sword near his chest. Shoving it aside so it was pointing elsewhere, Suka smirked, Calm down nancy boy. The blade was sharp enough to draw blood, no doubt allowing some of the poison to seep in. He closed his hand into a fist, and a small bit of light seeped through his fingers. When he opened his hand again, the wound was gone.

Stepping to the side of Zephyr, not caring if his wepons touched him, Suka smiled. Actually, I quite admire you. Not every man can lie on the floor, compleatly useless, and let the women protect him. Its quite endearing. Oh, no wait, it's rather pathetic isn't it? Smirking, he turned back to Zephyr, expecting to feel steel on his throat. Holding up his hands in mock surrender, he teased. Oh no, don't hurt me. Mahesa isn't awake to protect me! After the words tumbled out of his mouth, Suka realised his mistake. With Ryou there as well, and him involving his dieing girlfriend, he might have to ward off two :potty: off dragons.

[Ryou]

I need to pay more attention to what the :potty: happens around me, Ryou thought angerily. Zephyr was here to help with something that he couldn't help, and Suka was just making his job harder. I don't have the patience to deal with immature comments like that, he thought, partly about Suka's comments about Zephyr being weak, but also about dealing with "two :potty: dragons". He wasn't able to completely control what he heard, but he had heard that faintly. And he also doubted that Zephyr had the patience or the time to deal with him. He shot his fellow dragon a quick, sympathetic look before turning to Suka. "You know, making the cop angry and acting like that isn't going to help anything," he said with a slight glower at the angel before focusing his attention back on Mahesa.

[Zephyr]

Zephyr's primary intincts were to slash his sword up and behead this lunatic angel. "Who does he think he is!?" Zephyr thought angrilly. Zephyr figured that the only reason this angel was lying in a pool of it's own blood was because of the sword in his hand. "Mahesa still needs this maniac." Zephyr thought as his blood boiled beneath his skin. "It's not like you would know what happened angel. You were too busy being paralyzed in fear." Zephyr said half-heartedly as he clipped the axe back into it's position. Zephyr had seen Xanth poof away herself and Suka after she'd cured them all. Suka wasn't moving at all, so Zephyr could only assume the anyeli didn't like something he'd seen.

"Like I said. There's nothing I can do for now. That is, unless someone's not telling the whole story." Zephyr said as he slid the sword back into position. "but if you've told all you know than I shoul be going."

[Suka]

Suka turned toward Ryou, whos comment was neither effective, or worth a responce. But because Suka was in such a lovely mood, he laughed at him. Like your opinion means :potty:. If it wern't for you, Mahesa wouldn't be in this position. With that thought, Suka turned and looked at the dying human. Pathetic. If it wasn't for her pretty face, she wouldn't even be worth saving. Suka turned his attention back toward Zephyr. He'd only called him in because that reporter, or whatever he was, had irritated him. But this turned out to be more fun than he expected.

"It's not like you would know what happened angel. You were too busy being paralyzed in fear."

Suka had let his eyes wander over to Ryou. No doubt he was going to hear something about that comment. Then again, Ryou was a little too weak over his worthless little girlfriend to do anything. When he heard Zephyrs comment however, Suka snapped his head toward him. Gritting his teeth and clenching his fists, Suka glared at him. If you knew half the things I saw, you'd go insane, you miserable little fool. Suka's heart thudded hard in his chest. The thoughts and memories of the visions he'd been having then, and since flodded back into his head. The pain and horror, the dispair and agony. The gore. His mind raced and his breathing deepened. Staring deep into the dragons eyes, he growled at him. You know nothing of fear. Upon saying his last word, Suka threw a quick hard punch toward Zephyrs face. Suka just wished he could flood Zephyrs mind with the images Dazadi gave him. Then he'd know of fear.

[Zephyr]

Zephyr hadn't taken his eyes off of the crazed anyeli for amoment. It wasn't much of a surprise when the healer tried to attack him so Zephyr whipped his arm up to block. Thier arm colliding Zephyr conmtinued the motion of the block, sliding Suka's arm away from him and into the wall.

"Work on your aim flyboy." Zephyr said with his face so close to the angel's the dragon could hear Suka breathe. Smirking a bit Zephyr pulled away. "I have no time to quarrel with weaklings."

[Suka]

When Suka's fist smashed into the wall he mentally screamed. Not so much out of pain, but both pain and rage mixed togther. He pulled back his fist to nursed his torn knuckles. Where he'd hit, the was was dented and spots of his blood remained.

"Work on your aim flyboy... I have no time to quarrel with weaklings."

The way Zephyr stood in his face staring hims down, Suka smouldered in anger. Without so much as saying a word, he launched himself full force, trying to tackle him to the ground. At this point, he didn't care if he was hurt, or if the dragon wan stronger than him. All he could think about was beating in his face. he knew nothing about anything that happened, yet he sat there and called him weak. The anger simmering off his body was so intense, it tapped into some source of energy. All around him, casting onto Zephyr, a shadow began to grow. It wasnt enough to blacken the room, but enough to darken the center surrounding the two. Although new to Suka, it didn't effect him one bit. His rage saw past the changes, and only to the spitful dragon before him.

[Ryou]

If it wern't for you, Mahesa wouldn't be in this position.

It hit Ryou like he'd been punched. "Alright, listen little angel. You don't know what happened, unless YOU were the one who stabbed her! WHAT is your problem! If you weren't demanding something so hard to get as payment for your services, Mahesa would have been healed already!" Glowering, he shut his eyes and took a few deep breaths. The last time he'd gotten this angry, it hadn't ended so well. It had been the last time he'd seen his brother. They'd fought, and Ryou left. After that, he'd never wanted to get this angry again. And here he was; Angrier than he had been on that day.

[Zephyr]

Slightly disoriented by the shadow the white-winged angel was emitting Zephyr grunted as the apalos' weight hit him in full force. Slamming the ground with a reasonable thud Zephyr groaned as he imagined the wide smile suka would probably give him. "Not so fast!" Zephyr thought as he gritted his teeth and grabbed Suka's forearms. Flipping his weight around Zephyr smirked as the angel'hit the ground. Stradling the angel Zephyr crossed his arms in front of him and smirked. "Give up healer. Before I have to arrest you for assaulting an on-duty officer." Zephyr said in a movking tone.

[Suka]

Suka hit the floor along with Zephyr. As soon as he had the dragon pined to the ground, the shadow around them dissapeared. He was about to launch his fist at the dragon when Zephyr pushed him off, and reversed positions. When he felt the dragon holding him down, a seering pain shot through Suka's wing. The weight of both of them on his wings was bad enough, but his right one must have twisted underneith him. Above him, Zephyr was trying to speak to him, but Suka ignored it. The tackle was enough to anger him more, but with his wing in the pain it was in, he didn't care what happened. He just wanted the officer off him, and would do what he had to to make it happen.

While the dragon sat on top him smirking, Suka raged, and quickly threw a right handed punch aiming for his jaw. Without hesitation, his left hand came up quickly to punch him in his side near his ribs. While doing this, he lifted his left knee up hard to knee him in the back.
