Daoine vs. Arkadios Training Square

Looking around her she noticed that she was still alone. Carefully she took her golden spear from under her cape and examined it. It was already a beautiful gift when she received it from Xanth after the defeat of the Hind but with the latest alterations it looked even better then she ever could have wished for. And hopefully it's function would be just as well.
She'd hadn't had a good training in quite a while now. That's why she had set out to find someone to practise with in the coliseum. Ofcourse she could have gone to the Scrapping Ring where there were always eager fledglings but this time she wanted a decent opponent, someone who could actually teach her a thing or two about battling.
(OOC: Please no one else post to fight Daoine, she is waiting for Kade)

Walking into the scrapping ring, memories of his last visit here made him smile. He'd attempted to fight Dazadi, but found he didn't want to. Not with weapons anyway. It was a good thing too... she could have been pregnant then... he wasn't sure when she'd conceived. Smiling at the thought that led him to, he saw his sons face. So small, so perfect. He'd make a fine warrior when he grew up. Following in his footsteps no doubt. He'd followed in his fathers. Despite his mothers yearning for him to become green. But, it was tradition. A long line of male red dragons existed in his family. He wouldn't be the first to break it. And he didn't think Amadeus would either.
Luna chattered at him as he walked into the ring, wondering why he'd come here. He tried to tell her he shouldn't be training in the Palace practice grounds... he could hurt someone. But she really hadn't cared much. Thus, he was trying to tell her why this would be much safer. At least here there were restrictions. You had to be more skilled to fight in this part of the coliseum. He'd train with Luna, probably with a dummie or some type of intimate object. If someone should walk in however, he'd not be fearful of hurting them. Besides, he was interested in summoning Siphae and Aurelia. They might have met already, seeing as they lived in the same realm, but he'd like for them all to meet. Luna had met Siphae, but not Aurelia.
Walking into the center of the ring, unaware he was not alone, Kade summoned Siphae and Aurelia both. Waiting patiently, Luna remained oddly silent. Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out a small cube of beef he carried for a treat. Yes, he knew she wasn't a pet, but Luna didn't mind this treatment. She'd already ransacked his pocket once before, eating everything he had in one sitting. She regretted it later though when he had nothing left to give her. Accepting the cube, she ate it quickly, her tongue snaking out to lick her jaws, tickling the back of his neck. Hey! Quit that. He said lightly, reaching back to lift her from his neck and into his arms.
Suddenly in a puff of smoke, Aurelia appeared in all her glory. Kade loved Siphae, loved her beautiful midnight blue color, and sapphire eyes. She was really a sight to see... but Lia... Lia was really a beauty. Somewhat bigger than Siphae, which, was almost hard to believe, Lia stood tall on her back legs, then came down to the ground with her wings to greet him. Unlike Siphae's western style, Lia was very much a wyvern dragon. Her wings attached to her front arms. Her movement on the ground might be more limited, but in the air... she was killer. She adorned the colors of white and light shades of pink, clearly sporting her sept as an air dragon. Her breath was just as deadly as Siphae's, without the pain. Gas. Shaking his head, Kade smiled and walked up to Lia. Seeing her cousin, Luna scattered up Kade's arms and onto Lia's head. Neither seemed to mind each other, and Kade was glad for that. Giving Lia a slight bow in greeting, he reached out and stroked her head gently.

Daoine had been in the training square for a while now, playing with her spear a bit and trying out different poses and fighting stances. Suddenly the silence in the ring was broken by the sound of a chattering imp-dragon. Daoine turned around and saw how the red Dragon from the park in Paris entered the ring. He was accompagnied by the imp she heard. Daoine stayed still and looked at them from a distance. He seemed like an interesting man. She'd seen him now a couple of times with Dazadi, and from what she gathered the couple were lifemates in the strongest sense of the words. She had clearly sensed the bond between them. However something seemed different about him since she last saw him, she could sense it. But what was it exactly?
Daoine tried to remember if she had seen this imp before but as much as she shought back, she couldn't recall ever seeing this particular imp before. As she observed their interaction, her vision was suddenly blurred by a puff of smoke. A huge Air Dragon appeared in the ring. Daoine winced as it moved towards Kade. Would there be trouble? Quickly though she sensed the recognition between them and she relaxed.
Deciding it was not really appropriate to just stand here while looking at the other Dragons, Daoine subtilly cleared her throat hoping the sound would make them notice her presence.

Dazadi poofed herself and Tom into the training ring, brushing herself off as she backed away from the vampire. Normally so in tune with her surroundings, Dazadi was so focused on Tom and saving Suka from the vampire's wrath that she didn't pay as much attention as she should have, probably a little offset by the flux in her hormones. Whatever the reason, she didn't notice Kade, Daoine, or the two dragons at the other side of the circle. Her attention was fixed solely on Tom, wondering if he's actually be stupid enough to attack her or if he'd get second thoughts now he knew she could teleport - and that meant, if nothing else, she was more powerful than him.
She wondered, too, if he realised she was an Aide or if he was so driven by his need for revenge that he didn't care. That was a dangerous frame of mind to have, not so much a death wish as an absence of his desire to live. Not caring... She knew how that felt. It wasn't fun. But she wasn't a shrink, and she didn't understand people well enough to even try talking him down. The only thing she was good at was the fighting, and maybe he needed that. If nothing else, Daz understood violence. This guy... he needed to vent. Maybe she'd let him win, maybe not. But she was as good a target as any and as she'd tried to point out back his bar, before Suka attempted to take the blame torch back, this was all her fault.
Now we can fight, she growled, withdrawing her dagger and waggling it at him, her eyebrows arched tauntingly. She started to explain why they were here, but she'd never been big on words and she doubted he cared. All he knew was that he and his girlfriend had taken a beating - something that would undermine anyone's confidence, especially a male's - and he needed someone to punch out. So be it. If you dare.

He eyed the anyeli's dagger warily, and withdrew his own dagger, which seemed short and stubby in comparison. Still, it was the best he had. Not knowing what he was supposed to be waiting for, Tom figured he should start. Taking a step forward, Tom threw himself at the anyeli clumsily, his feet aiming to land somewhere around her middle.

Running his hand over Lia's muzzle, he looked into her clear pink eyes. Smiling at how beautiful she was, Kade took a step back wondering why it was takeing Siphae so long. This was the second time she'd not answered his summons right away. Not to mention dissapearing forawhile without a trace. Although, it was understandable this time. She was resting from their ritual. And he really should have let her continue to rest. But he wanted all three of his girls to meet. Especially Phae and Luna.
Hearing someone clear their throat, Kade looked up to see a familiar face. Cocking his head slightly trying to place her, thr realization of who she was washed over him. Ahh yes, the girl from Paris. Her golden dragon had seemed new to her. She probably had just learned to summon. Smiling up at her as Lia and Luna looked her way, Kade was about to give a friendly greeting when he heard... or rather felt, another presance.
Twisting around, Kade looked toward the two newcomers. Immediatly he saw Dazadi, and a frown covered his face. If she was here to watch him... fine. Especially since Dora was watching Amadeus. But... the stance she took with the man... the bar tender, he didn't like it. When their words reached his ears... or her words rather, Kade shook his head. Barking out mentally, Kade made a sprint toward his lifmate. Dazadi no!
The moment the man started his attack, Kade didn't waste a minute. Running as fast as he could, which was damn fast, Kade placed himself in between the man and Dazadi. The blow he took knocked him back slightly, but he'd prevented Dazadi from being hurt. No. This fight will not happen. He said to the man, then looked at Dazadi. You arn't fit to fight. I will not allow it. He projected firmly. Reaching out, he did the one thing that would prove his seriousness. Kade took Dazadi's dagger from her.

As the Dragon had not spoken once whilst he interrupted the fight, Tom felt it was fair enough to ask for some sort of explanation.
"Umm....hi. Er, do you mind? Trying to vent my spleen here." He said edgily, not wanting to irritate the dragon but still desperate to get some kind of revenge for himself and Piper. Explanations could come later, he wanted to attack now.

Daz was excited to be in the middle of a fight again. There was nothing in the world she found more exciting than facing off with someone, even when she was out to give that person revenge. Of course, she doubted Tom would appreciate that she was enjoying this, it'd probably make him madder if he knew, but she couldn't help who she was.
Stepping one foot back to dodge the attack, Dazadi's eyes widened as a blur of red and black suddenly slammed into place right in front of her. The flood of emotions and words hit her like a brick, making her realise she'd been accidentally blocking her lifemate. Oops. That would seriously annoy him. She hadn't even realised she'd been doing it. That would explain how she'd ported in here and not even known he was here already.
Confused, she let Kade take her dagger, only realising what he'd done when the weight was no longer snug in her hand. Growling, she stamped her foot and grabbed it back. She didn't care what he said, she was having this fight. I'm fit enough to kick his -donkey-, thank you very much, she snapped. The only thing that stopped her from punching her lifemate in the face was the fact he had taken the dagger in the first place. One warrior to another, that just wasn't done.
Love, please... this is my responsibility. I have to do this. She knew it was hard for him to let her get hurt, that was who he was. But he'd worked with her for decades, he knew what she could do even before the Aide thing. He had to trust that she had a reason for this, that she wasn't trying to get herself killed.
Hearing the irritation in Tom's voice when he tried to hurry them up, Daz held out her hand, one finger up. It wasn't a rude gesture, she was telling him to wait a minute, but she never once took her gaze from Kade's. Love, please.
