About the Department Store
Welcome to the Alexandria Department Store! This massive building appeared one day out of thin air offering a wide range of goods from electronic appliances to holiday decorations. Located opposite the residential caverns, the store is in the perfect spot to tempt shoppers on their way to and from their homes.
How does it work?
- Take a look around each department.
- Make a list of the items you want to buy and their prices.
- Post that list on this thread, stating the total cost.
- Send the money to the Bank.
Please remember to include a link to your order post in your message while paying so the Bank Manager can easily verify your order. ^^ - Add a list of the items you've just bought to your inventory.
What about the items?
There are only a couple of items available at the moment. We will be adding more and more and will try to offer a variety. In the meantime, certain items can be customised, such as the painted wardrobes. You cannot customise them to the degree that they're of more worth than you paid but you can customise them within their level category. In other words, you can choose the painting on your single painted wardrobe but you can't turn it into a fitted painted wardrobe. ;)
Do I have to buy stuff?
In short, no. But remember that Elysian Fields operates on a "If it's for sale, you have to buy it" basis so if you don't buy what's for sale here, you can't have it at all. That means your character doesn't have a bed to sleep in or a sofa to sit on. ;)
However, any items that aren't for sale here or in the market is assumed so until we start selling microwaves, you can pretend your character has one. Just remember that once we do start selling those items, you should buy them as soon as possible or stop roleplaying them.
