There was no need for the rosary beads now. Valinir had a new Goddess, and was no longer on Earth. His Father had continually insisted that, seeing as they were on Earth, that they worship the human’s God, who…. Had some weird name like Geesus. Might as well give them to Xanth, she might find some amusement in mocking how Val had once worshipped a God that probably never existed. But all the same, they were delicate things: deep black stones on a silver chain, and a silver cross dangling off that sported one of the same black stones in the middle of it. He thought them beautiful, and maybe Xanth would, too.As Valinir walked through the Quadrangle, he stopped to admire the beauty of the area. Someone obviously took care of it, for the plants he saw were blooming beautifully. What did he do now? Looking toward the Statue, he forgot that thought as he walked up to it, then stopped to gape. If this statue was life-like in features, then Xanth was incredibly beautiful. As was the whole statue itself. With a smile, Valinir fingered the beads, and spoke out loud. "Xanth, these are from my time on Earth. I hope you do not find them offensive, for they are beautiful, but intended for a different God. His name was Geesus, or something. But now, you can have them." He placed the beads carefully into the bowl, and continued in a murmur. "I am sorry I have not taken the time to offer or speak to you, but my time in Elysia has not been long. I hope you find my offering appealing." With that, the shifter stood there for a moment, staring up at the statue as if it’d jump to life any moment.
