[Aeitius]

Standing there supposedly to look for a job, he watched the clocked tic-tac its minute hand over and over. After a bit of a yawn, Aeitius heared someone scowled toward his direction.

" What are you looking at? "

He peeked once more and saw her nearly baring her teeth at him and gave this rather annoyed look before she sat down into the chair opposite to what seemed as the officer. Aeitius, in his mind, figured that there are some femmes that won't like to be looked at. Yet, he wasn't looked at her- he was actually looking at someone else. But even still, he watched there patiently and did not said a word.

[Zephyr]

Zephyr watched Dora deal with 2 people. One, a white-haired girl, seemed to be here to confess to something. While the other, an orange-haired guy, seemed to be there to make sure she did speak.

Sinking back into boredom, Zephyr flipped his pen around. "Being a cop is much less entertaining than I thought it'd be." He thought.

When Aiden came through the door, Zephyr perked up. Until he realised that it was just the third cop. "Stupid Feline." He grumbled to himself.

When the door opened again, Zephyr was much slower to look up. But when he did, he got up almost immediately. "Hey! What can I help ya with?" He asked as he walked up to the new stranger.

[Kaida]

Kaida slumped in her chair, her mood worsenig byt he second. She didn't know what was taking the process so long, but she just wanted it over and done with. Punish her, let her free...it didn't matter at this point. It wasn't until she noticed a fimilar face come out to greet the guy she had chewed out before, that she brightened up. Bolting into and uprigt position, she grined at Zephyr. Hey! I didn't know you were an officer! Miss me already? She smirked at him, almost certian she'd be reciving a nasty scowl. Laughing, she settled back casually in her chair.

[Aeitius]

Aeitius, standing up near beside the door and facing the clock, thought about how lucky the MPD's here are. They don't seem to workout pretty much being that there are only few stores he could see from where he was at. Not interested in socializing just yet, he figured that the best way to train himself is to join the police force. Who knows, there might be a K-9 unit available. As long as bad guys are caught and there are room for one young pup. Soon he heard something...

" Hey! What can I help ya with? " a voice asked toward his direction.


Aeitius realized that this must be one of the MPD troopers around so he responded. " Oh, hey! I see that the one who had let the animals out of a pet store had confessed. Perhaps the Department needed more officers to supervise the area so things like this won't happen again? Is there a training available here in the MDP? "

Flexing himself while he said: " I'm interested in serving the city and if there are any vacancy, I would surely want to know about it. "

[Aiden]

Hearing the one-who-reeked-of-canine speak about Kaida, Aiden scoffed. How the heck did news travel that fast? Or did the guy just assume that Kaida did it?

Leaving the pup to Zephyr's attention (and ignoring that comment about felines), Aiden returned his attention to Kaida. "Why'dya do it, did you have help, and how old are you-so-I-can-determine-your-punishment?" He grinned, "I'd much rather finish this interrogation and leave to get my dinner, but this is how things work here."

[Kaida]

Kaida turned back to the officer in front of her. Aiden, she think the other officer called him. Frowning again, she crossed her arms. Hardly stoping for a breath it seemed, he flew into his questions.

"Why'dya do it, did you have help, and how old are you-so-I-can-determine-your-punishment?"

Kaida looked at Aiden disgusted. Like she was going to really just give him what he wanted to know. Police officer or not. Rolling her eyes, Kaida sat silently, defiant. After several minutes of silence, she finally opened her mouth. Wasn't like she was going anywhere until. Because cageing animals is disgusting. Of course i didn't have help. Like anyone would have enough balls to do something like that. Kaida muttered more obsinities about how useless and pitiful others were. Stoping to glare at Aiden right in his eyes, she said her name. Kaida

[Aiden]

This youngling---though he was a youngling himself---was proving to be difficult to talk to. She had an acceptable reason for doing her crime(compared to youths who vandalized for fun), but her rudness was affecting his usually friendly mood. At least she answered most of his questions.

Leaning forward, Aiden propped his elbows on the table and folded his hands in front of his face. "Kaida...did it occur to you that you could have talked to Tom---the unfortunate owner of the shop you nearly ransacked---about the condition of the animals? You shouldn't have to turned to crime on behalf of those creatures." But who was he to lecture Kaida on things like this, remarked a mutinous part of his mind, he'd done such pranks in his tribe in the past...and those pranks had been done thoughtlessly. Still. A job was a job...

[Aeitius]

" Because cageing animals is disgusting. Of course i didn't have help. Like anyone would have enough balls to do something like that. " Aeitius heard that from his back.

Even though he was a shapeshifter with a fondness for animals, that statement somewhat put a smirk into his face. Mentally, he thought in head without being actually serious: 'with that logic, she should be the president.' At any rate, Aeitius decided to peek once more as he smelled the feline's scent as he discuss the situation with the other youngling.

He saw them there, the one who confessed was still defiant- and made it look good too while defying the law against...uhh.. 'releasing animals from the pet store that isn't owned by the releaser' is not legal. Provided there is a law in the books about that, Aeitius was quite keen to be there where it happens and when it happens. Who knows, they could be famous because of this- just like O.J. Simpson- except it wasn't that heinous.

[Zephyr]

Zephyr grounded as the white-haired girl recognized him. "Why me?" He thought. Deciding to ignore the girl, Zephyr turned his full attention to the man in front of him.
The boy's height rivaled Zephyr's, though Zephyr was still taller.

"Oh, hey! I see that the one who had let the animals out of a pet store had confessed. Perhaps the Department needed more officers to supervise the area so things like this won't happen again? Is there a training available here in the MDP? "

Zephyr took a moment to process what the boy said. "He wants... a job!?" Zephyr though, trying to stifle a laugh as the stranger flexed his muscles. "What's your name and how old are ya kid? Zephyr asked the stranger, slightly arrogantly.

[Nymphadora]

Nymphadora looked up and the scene unfolding before her. Crinkling her face, she decided it would be best if she took herself away from earshot. Having nothing against Tom, her views on animals being in cages where still the same. However, unlike this girl, she herself didn't mind people having pets. As long as they were free to roam. Shaking her head, she sliped out of the main room, and to the breakroom. Smiling, she decided to call Chenoan. Their date had been nice, and she wanted to see if he might want to come and pick her up when she got off duty. Dialing the number he'd given her, she waited as it rang.

Hearing the phone ring, Chenoan ran over to grab it before Aithe could. "Hello? He said as he answered it.

Nymphadora grined when she heard his voice, and projected it into to voice when she responded. Hey! It's Dora! The way she said her name sounded odd. She always referd to herself with her full name, but with Chenoan, it just came out.

"Hey Dora!" Chenoan said, immediately smiling. "To what do I owe this pleasure?" He said, taking the phone into his room and quietly closing the door.

Leaning against the wall, Nymphadora doodled on the table beside her with her finger. Um, im actually working. At the MPD. It's getting a little crazy in the front, so I thought i'd give you call real quick She was about to ask what he was doing later, but decided to see if he asked her first.

"Really? Why call me?" He asked. He'd never done much with police or anything before Elysia. Most of hi time was spent running from animal control. "Is everything OK?"

Nymphadora gave a slight frown at first, then realized the mix up. Oh...no. I ment. Um, never mind. She blushed, not wanting to sound desperate. Actually, the shifter i was telling you about eariler. The woman who let the animals out of Tom's shop... well she turned herself in. Aiden is dealing with her right now. I just, wanted to call you and see whats up. She said trying to lighten the tone.

"It was a 'shifter!?" He said in disbelief. "Who?" He asked her urgently.

Nymphadora noticed the concern in his voice. She smiled softly. It was so sweet of him to care about his fellow shifters. She opened her mouth to speak, when she realized she didn't know the girls name. Nice police work dummy She scolded herself. Um, hang on a second. Taking the phone with her, she streched the cord until she reached the nearist computer. Typing in a bunch of information, she soon pulled up the file. Seeing the name Kaida listed under the report, she assumed one of the other officers had entered in the information. While she walked back to the breakroom, she told Chenoan. The name we have is Kaida. Why?

"Kaida... Kaida... oh no." He mumbled quietly. "Would it be OK if I came down there to help clear things out a bit?" He asked. He'd met Kaida before in the grove and she was fairly... stubborn from what Chenoan had seen.

Nymphadora shrugged. I guess that would be ok. I mean, i'm sure she could use your support. And Aiden your help. You being shifter Alpha and all. Nymphadora grined and slight chill attacked her. There was something about him being Alpha that just... well... made her excited. She thought to herself, besides, this way i'll get a chance to see you again.

"OK, I'll be right over." He said, standing up. "See you soon." He said before pushing the button to hang up. With that Chenoan set the phone down and left his room, followed by leaving his house. "Off to play peace keeper." He thought

Smiling at the phone, Nymphadora craddled it in the reciever. Grinning, she walked out to the front room to wait for Chenoan.

[Kaida]

Kaida furrowed her brow. Who is Tom? The owner was a woman. But whatever, thats don't even matter. And i didn't do it because the conditions were bad. From what I saw, the cages were clean. But that's not the point. The point is, is that no animal should be caged. Its wrong. If you could talk to them, you think they'd say, yes please, stick me in jail for the rest of my life. With that Kaida scowled. Talking about it was makeing her more and more upset. Images of her father traped, then locked away in a cage somewhere kept flashing through her mind.

Feeling like a child who was caught with her hand in the candy jar, she sulked. I was just trying to make a statment. It's not like I stole them or anything. Though if i knew i had to go through this :potty: I would have. Closing her eyes, she let the emotions settle down. If she cried here, in front of everyone, she'd loose it.

[Aiden]

He leaned back into the comfortable padded chair as Kaida explained her actions. Somehow, she still didn't think that talking to Tom about those animals was a possibility. She could have seen the pet shop boy's point of view before taking her action. He understood that she wanted them freed, but what would happen to them once they were free to roam? Would those domestic, usually hand fed animals be able to hunt for food on their own?

Inhaling and exhaling, he thought over his words before saying, "So you wished to make a statement..." he repeated, "That's good. Share your thoughts. But this---freeing the animals---was the wrong way to do it. Again, you could have spoken to the pet shop owner, held a protest, etcetra." With his so called advising session over, Aiden rubbed his knuckles with tiredness. The stress was taxing his energy, making him want to revert to primary. He could already feel the unease in his fingers as they itched to become paws.

"The fine for theft and vandalism is fifteen dollars," said Aiden. Looking into the girl's eyes, he asked, "But do you truthfully think that it'll help you repent?"

[Aeitius]

The officer seemed to took a moment to process what he just had said. When asked: " What's your name and how old are ya kid? "

" Bond. Aeitius Bond. Age 18 and 1/2. Height five foot ten or 178 cm. Born and raised in the US yet currently inhabiting outside the U.S. and is seeking a job to buy a home here. "

Scratching his head- for it was itchy- he continued: " Not much job around. I figured MDP would have at least some jobs available given the proportion of people around. " An odd feeling was itching in his hands and feet for those to become paws and his ear to become a dog's ear. Even though his primary form is human, Aeitius still have trouble controlling his cub-like nature and that is fact for level one to threes. It is odd the feeling of finding a job, as oppose to starting ones own business. There is a big difference for one to be employed by another and being self-employed.

Upon hearing the fine for theft and vandalism from one of the officers- he heard it between fourteen or fifteen dollars- he figured that since it was a 'first offence' that it could had been a 'warning.' Not that he knew a lot about law in MDP, but somehow that was how it makes sense to him.

[Niles]

Niles was sitting in his seat, a few feet away from Kaida and Zephyr, when he noticed a canine shifter whom he vaguely recognished from the grove.

Oh, hey! I see that the one who had let the animals out of a pet store had confessed.

Niles looked up, surprised. How on earth had he known that? Someone must have seen Kaida enter the station and recognised her, he thought. He loved Elysia, but they were all very gossipy. Is that a word?

Perhaps the Department needed more officers to supervise the area so things like this won't happen again? Is there a training available here in the MDP?

Niles was a bit confused as to why the shifter wanted to know this, it soom became clear, however, as he proclamed he wan't a job. Niles felt a little discusted, this guy was actualy, trying to used Kaida's arrest as a reason to join the force? But he didn't show it, training to be a psychiatrist he had learnt a great deal about not displaying emotions.

He also listened vaguely to Kaida's conversation with the officer. She wasn't being very nice. Of course, he knew she wasn't going to apologise, but still...being rude wasn't exactly going to lessen her punishement. But he also thought it was a brave thing to do. Maybe he could defy the law, but he couldn't keep standing up to it even after turning himself in.

His ears pricked up when he heardThe fine for theft and vandalism is fifteen dollars, Niles raised his eyebrowed [i]Well, that's not so bad, could be much worse.

[Kaida]

Kaida listen to what Aiden had to say. At first she agreed with him. Maybe it was the wrong thing for her to do. But she got her point across. And honestly, she'd probably do it all over again if she had a second chance to. Only much worse, seeing as she had to deal with this :potty: . Grinding her teeth out of annoyance, she nearly choked when Aiden mentioned a protest. Actually letting loose a laugh, she sucked it back in when he continued.

Any halarity she felt was wiped clean off her face, and replaced with shock and bitterment. Clenching her fists into a tight ball, and staring down the officer, she quickly reached into her back pocket and pulled out $15. Slamming it on the table she nearly spit out her words. Fisrt of all, i didn't steal anything. If I had, and I should of, you think I would have just walked in here and turned myself in? And you can hardly consider that vandalism. I didn't do anything that wrecked the store. Whatever. Am I free now? She said with sarcasim.

[Aiden]

Aiden blinked slowly as Kaida slammed the money on the table and shared her thoughts. Of course she wouldn't have turned herself in if she'd stolen something. But most people didn't turn themsevles in after causing disturbances either.

"Yeh, you're free," said Aiden as he too got to his feet. He proceeded to hand money to Nymphadora to give to Xanth(or wherever the fines were supposed to go).

"Kaida," he said to the younger shifter, the look on his face mirroring that of a concerned brother, "Please don't do something like this again." It was uncomfortable for him to have to deal with a shifter---more so when he'd previously met (though briefly)---the shifter.

[Aeitius]

Once he heard that Kaida was freed, Aeitius can't help but to turned around and look at her reaction. He, of course, was by curiosity kindled by the fact that the girl slammed the money on the table. 'At least she turned herself in to a rather kind police crew', he thought.

Aeitius was waiting for the reply of the officer that had asked him his name and age. For obvious reasons, a proper officer would ask those questions to know the applicant. In the process, he saw first hand the enforcement of the law in the marketland.

[Kaida]

Kaida squinted her eyes, glaring at the shifter. She couldn't believe he was taking the side of, whatever the shop owner was. Officer or not, your kind comes first. Crossing her arms she yet again, stood defiently. Yea, i'll try not to. She said sarcasticly. Noticing the female officer had come back around, Kiada gave her a slight nod. However angery she was, she still wasn't disrespectful. Whatever the woman was, even she had agreed with her. Not to mention the wolf shifter who she'd had qualms with. Even Niles. Sort of.

Sending one last glare to Aiden, Kadia turned on her heels and walked past where Niles was sitting. Coming or what? She barked at him. Flinching at her tone, she felt bad. She didn't mean to take it out on him, but she just wanted to get out of there. She'd apoligize when they were outside. If he decided to follow her that is.

[Aiden]

Ignoring Kaida's weak promise and sharp glares, Aiden waved her away, smile still on his face. He'd gone through too many arguments with siblings and classmates to care about glares and verbal attacks. Still...he pitied the other feline with her. She was a mean one.

"Be back later," he said to Dora as he walked toward the changing rooms. Changing out of his uniform and putting on his casual ones, he stuffed the purple clothes into a backpack. Making sure he didn't leave anything behind, the feline shifter walked out of the changing room and left the department.

[Niles]

Coming or what?

Niles wasn't really very shocked or hurt, Kaida must be maad right now, and he might as well face it, she wasn't one to keep what she thought to herself.

He pulled himself up with a small sigh, he still couldn't decide her personality. She was cutty and sarcastic, but she was also nice, well, some of the time anyway. He shook his head trying to figure it out.

He followed her outside. When they were out he was going to say something, but remembered her hand. Now that that's overwith, We should go to the vet, unless you want to go yourself? He wasn't sure, he had came with her to the Police because she didn't want to turn herself in and might need encouragement. But He wasn't sure if she'd want him trailing along for something simple, like a trip to the vet.
