Isabella was a little shaken up by the incident in the pub. Seeing a tankard smashed over your brother’s head and then him doing nothing about it was rather upsetting. But, she’d been sort of more concerned at the time about the broken tankard and getting paid. Therefore, she was on a bit of a guilt trip and wanted to be left alone. He’d just walked out without any spiteful words, and it was awful. She had a lot of events to think about – including a small, unsolved mystery that seemed one of Suka’s dark secrets. She wouldn’t ask him about it; his actions had been so… desperate. And the way he spoke was if he had been in love with the blue-haired angel. It was quite frightening to some extent, in all fairness.Jack Frost nipped at her skin with icicle-fingers, even though her body was covered with thick garments. She even had her scarf tied in such a position that it resembled a muffler, covering half of her face up to the tops of her angular cheekbones. Gloves covered her hands, and she had several layers underneath her thick winter coat. Isabella was still cold, and it seemed so bizarre, even though she had article upon article of clothing shoved onto her body. She regretted (and was entirely remorseful) that she had discarded the idea of bringing a Thermos flask full of hot chocolate. It was only a small trip to the mountains, she'd accounted for doing so. And Hell, it was no walk in the park. The tips of the mountains were not visible, due to the layer of fog enshrouding them. Isabella was not even a quarter of the way up and yet the condensation hanging above her head lazily occasionally clung to her eyelashes. She'd been flying for a bit, or as least as long as she could have done so, and found that she was colder airborne, but it was the only way that she could get further up the mountain. She wasn't built for walking, and on top of that, she didn't fancy hurtling down the side of a mountain - one slip was all it would take. She leaped lazily from her ledge into the air and snapped out her wings, no longer straining so much as she once had to gain altitude. It was still one Hell of battle, though, and she somehow envied her big brother for his ease in flying. Her face screwed up in concentration as her red hair blew about in the wind - taking her with it - and she was off course, away from the mountain. That was frightening. Very much so. Trying harder than ever, she frowned unhappily and pushed herself to her limit. It took Bella awhile, but eventually, she was a good thirty meters up from her last rest - panting heavily, but there. She sat down on the icy ledge and shivered unhappily, looking about for other signs of life.

((OOC hope you dont mind))

It was a double edged sword living in the mountains, it provided Inimicus well needed isolation at times and calming surroundings, but at the same time he was still a social being and it was lonely being here with only Himme and Nacht and the occasional Anyeli fledgling who didnt fly right but was too scared to come near Inimicus's house. Inimicus had once again been out fixing the fence which had been nocked down and was taking a break from the rather annoying work sipping some warm deer blood when he looked up towards the ensrouded peaks of the mountains. It was a windy day, espcially in the mountains, and he saw an anyelos trying desperatly to make its way up the mountain, however it was odd...the angel seemed very bulky, normally he wasnt used to that it wasnt weight the anyeli appeared to be wearing many layers of clothing. As he stared in personal amusement laughing at the foolish angel he noted the hair blowing in the wind when...she it appeared...was blown several meters off course nearer to his house...flaming red hair. Figured.

Bella...she is going to get herself killed it is far too windy and cold up there to try and fly up

Inimicus turned throwing on his thick wool cape, walking to the stables he threw a thick wool blanket over the Clydesdale's back to Nacht's intense annoyance, but the horse complained only slightly having calmed down lately. Feeding nacht a handful of oats he petted the horse.

" Come on boy we are going up into the mountains today, dont worry not far and I will give you much food when we get back "

Inimicus whistled loudly trying to call Himme and shouted out to wherever she was

" Come on Himme we are going up, and quickly if possible so you are going to run alongside okay? "

Inimicus swung himself over the horse and steered him towards the mountains.

It was a cold ride up there, but Inimicus had ridden him in the mountains before and it wasn't too unusual. He had slung some feed over the horse so he could feed him at the destination. Finally they reached the perch where the female anyelos was laying Inimicus quickly dismounted dropping some oats on the ground in front of Nacht. He walked over to Bella.

" Bella! Are you alright, come on let me give you a ride to the top I cant imagine your wings are feeling too great with the chill wind...is something wrong Bella? "

Inimicus walked forward and unclasped his cloak putting the clasp into his pocket, he held the cloak in his hands and extended it towards Bella

" and please this time don't hit me for offering "

Inimicus winked at her, a reference to the night long ago in Alaska

She'd only been with Inimicus for a day or so, and as of yet, he'd not suspected anything. It was... odd being treated like a pet. To have his fingers run over her body, smoothing over her fur. In a sense, it was arousing, but knowing he was not touching her... but this Himme fox, it stripped away all moments of pleasure. Though secretly, she liked the attention.

All that aside however, she'd done this to understand more about the Vampire, as well as find his weaknesses. He'd given her a right verbal beating back near Valhalla, and the fact that he'd found she was living there in the first place, it made him a threat. If she could not enslave him, she would have to kill him. It was as simple as that. And being this 'Himme', put her in the best spot a spy could ask for. The position of beloved pet, always with its owner at all times. Sometimes, even fed secrets to. Although, Kaida had yet to receive anything of use.

Most of the time, Kaida had stayed close to Inimicus. After all, what was the point if she wasn't around to hear and see what made the man tick. But sleep beckoned, and eventually, Kaida had to answer.

Lifting up her head as she heard the familiar call for her to come, Kaida let loose a yawn, then stretched dramatically. Laying in the hay not far away from her screeching "master", Kaida watched as Inimicus readied his horse. The one and only flaw in her plan, was the fact she could speak anything but English. Although... Himme was no dog, and could probably one grasp a few words here and there herself. Instead of tilting her head in his direction as a pet might do, Kaida stared blankly, waiting for him to either speak English, or leave so she could follow.

Watching as he sung himself up onto the massive horse, Kaida got to her feet. Even in her wolf form, she couldn't keep up with a horse running at full speed. And seeing as she had no clue how far he had in mind, she did what she thought best. With a running start, Kaida leapt onto the horses back, settling herself into Inimicus' lap, trying her best to secure herself for the ride.

Hating every second she was being bumped and jerked around, she near broke her cover with a nasty comment to the horse. If it didn't watch itself, she'd give it a nasty bite when Inimicus wouldn't be looking. Feeling them slow to s stop, Kaida lifted her head. Having to act quickly in order not to be knocked to the ground from the vampires dismounting, she sprung from the horse, landing lightly on her feet. It was one good thin about being a fox. Had she been in her wolf form, she'd probably have a face full of dirt right about then.

Lowering her haunches to the ground, curling her tail around her side, Kaida watched silently as Inimicus spoke to the Anyeli. It was their first encounter with another... the perfect opportunity to do what she'd set out to do in the first place. By the way he spoke, she assumed they were either really close, or had previous issues in the past.

It was pleasantly quiet, and although she couldn’t see three meters straight in front of her face, Isabella was actually quite content to sit with her hair billowing in the wind. The Dusky Mountains had to be one of her favourite places, now, and she’d begin to come here quite often if she could. Without a doubt, it was a challenge for one as young as herself, but that was what made the trip worthwhile. Besides, it was either that or go back to her tiger, and the latter was not in a good mood on the morning. She wasn’t happy at being left alone so often, and Isabella was beginning to wonder whether she should begin to take her out to more places that seemed homely to Ryn. Perhaps the Yondallar was a better option. On top of that, the once compact ball of fur was beginning to grow and need much more food, not that Isabella minded, but it was an inconvenience at the size she was becoming. In a house that had a garden would be so much better, because then she needn’t stay inside so often. Now there was thought. Maybe Bella ought to go and buy a new house…Underneath her was a sheer vertical drop, that she hadn’t noticed before. Isabella began to feel uncomfortable with this, for she wondered if she could snap her wings open in time if she fell. Not that she was intentionally wanting to hurt herself, it was just a bit of a thought. She stood and opened her wings, ready to take flight, when Inimicus’s voice made her freeze. She narrowed her eyes at nothing in particular, and then slowly turned, just to see that she wasn’t hallucinating. And sure enough, there was the vampire standing there. She sucked in a breath uncertainly at how her opinion of him had changed, she maybe even considered him more than an acquaintance, but still. He was a nice guy and all, but just not her type. Still. It was a thought. "I’m… fine. I don’t mind the challenge, nor do I the cold," she answered absent-mindedly, eyes drifting to ‘Himme’, and then back to Inimicus. "Honestly, the only thing that could make me feel better if a Thermos flask." But he seemed so earnest that she sighed and took it, adding it atop her layers. "Please, though, I came here more for my benefit than you think. Still. What’re you doing here?"

To be honest Bella really was quite a beautiful woman...she didn't compare to Ammanity yes, but she had a spirit about her. It made Inimicus smile to see her again and it made him happy to note they were still on good terms. He hadn't seen Ammanity for so long, she had seemingly dissapeared, and the only other women he had seen were Xanth and that evil witch in the jungle, not to put down men but Inimicus often found women were better company if for no other reason than in general he found them better at making their opinions known than many of the men he knew. He didn't so much mind the isolation, but it was a bit lonely at times. He smiled even more broadly as she took his cloak, it was cold out here...he was use to it but he wasn't sure how use to it she was especially with the large wings...he didn't think cold was too good for those. He smiled and reached down to pick up Himme to pet her, smiling he spoke happilly to Bella

" I must say it is good to see you here...all I normally see are my pets and fledglings who get lost. I figured you probably enjoyed the challenge I was just...a bit worried about you when I saw the wind push you back, as far as it was your hair does tend to stand out amongst most of the Anyeli i have seen. I am sorry if my offers were a tad insulting, i keep forgetting that you do not need help its just...something I was taught to do and its hard to do something different but I will try. As for why I am here, if you look down there "

Inimicus turned and pointed in the distance to his large property and house

" I have my home here, i bought four acres of land here to live a little more removed from people to try and get...myself...a bit more under control, I don't want a repeat of the halloween party especially not with people I love. However if you would like to come visit me at times I would love to have you, I did not bring any drink with me unfortunatly as I do not so much mind the cold, but if you would like I could accompany you to your destination...if my kind is allowed there that is "

Maybe that sounded a little desperate, he didn't know, but his self induced isolation did make him lonely, that combined with the dissaperance of the person he loved and someone who he thought was out for his blood made him desire company of people who could not be harmed so easily. He knew Suka, and knew he was the archangel...maybe he wanted to see Suka more then Bella, someone strong to talk to who wasn't his goddess...he knew if he told Xanth about that witch in the jungle she would likely not be too happy with him for putting himself in danger, or possibly even be angry with that woman and bring down death on them...something he did not want. Suka he knew visited the woman and he could talk to him.

Watching silently, her tail flicking slightly as a chill sunk through her warm pelt, she gazed at the female. The Anyeli looked familiar, though she wasn't sure how. At first her attitude, her words, they made Kaida straighten slightly, her ears perking forward, intent on listening to what the girl had to say. She seemed tough, and needing of no one. The kind of girl that was perfect for Kuma. Catching her gaze, Kaida held it with strength, her eyes piercing deep within the Anyeli's. Kaida was nothing to stare at, and she'd stare right back. Although, she'd easily forgotten that she was nothing more than a vampires pet. Recruiting... she had a tendency to loose herself in the moment. Had the girls next actions not come about, she might have broken cover then and there with a few words of her own.

Watching as the woman took the vampires offering of a cloak, Kaida rolled her eyes then looked away. Weak, just like the rest. Unless... Looking back to the woman, hope for her still lingering in the air, it was soon squashed as any sense of flirting sizzled and died in the harsh mountain air.

Looking away from the two toward the horse, Kaida made a mental note to steal it upon finishing her recon. It would be of good benefit to Kuma and Valhalla. Near snorting at Inimicu's words, she rolled her eyes yet again, this time her gaze elsewhere. Where was the gentlemanly restraint in the jungle? The man was two faced. Something she despised. If you're going to be cruel and heartless, then do so with everyone. You don't pick and choose who you hate. Kaida personally hated no one. Why waste the time and energy in hating someone that wasn't worth the effort? Besides, it was much more fun to not hate someone that hated you. You could see clearly how upset you make them, which only made light of the entire situation. Which in turn censored them off more.

Smiling to herself, her thoughts having brought her out of the current moment, she wasn't prepared when Inimicus lifted her off the ground, his hand gliding over her head and body. Squeaking slightly as the pressure of his hand on her ribs pushed her breath from her mouth, she turned and glared in his face, though his eyes were trained on the female. Clenching her jaw, she tried to calm herself. This is what was meant to happen, and she had to deal with it. Though every time his hand ran down her spine, she wanted to clean herself of his touch. Animal instinct... perhaps if she was human, and he was touching her in such gentle ways.. she might think differently. But she was against people owning animals. Hell, if she knew what Suka did in his spare time, she'd have wigged out by now.

Settling in his arms, closing her eyes, trying to ignore his touch, Kaida focused her ears on their words. He'd spoken of the Halloween party. Smirking to herself, in effect giving herself the look of a pleased pet, Kaida realized just how big an impact she'd had on him. Well hell, he came to kill her because of it. Or... was he even trying to kill her? She'd have to find that out...

His happy words made her stare at him in shock. She had wanted to go to the peak - alone. Inimicus knew fine well that she didn’t appreciate people trying to look after her, as he had experienced in Alaska. She wasn’t frightened of him, as she’d also shown him clearly before. And yet here he was. Trying to be courteous. In fact, it was beginning to get to Isabella a little bit. He didn’t seem to know when to learn her character and just drop the pleasantries. True, she was on a scale of indifferent acquaintance with him. But that didn’t mean he could just… try and make her partial to him. Of course, he wasn’t trying to, but Bella just put all the blame for the effect flattery had on her. Ugh. Since when did she become so soft? Bella certainly didn’t know. For a moment, she just blinked at him, and nearly snarled a warning at him, but composed her features and ground her teeth, eyes darting nervously to the house. Isabella Victoria Franchino did not have a good history with horses. Her ‘father’ had tried to teach her, but horses just didn’t seem to like her. She’d been bucked, she’d been kicked, she’d fell off them, and none of the experiences were pleasant. The angel’s eyes nervously settled on the male horse and she took a step back slowly, and then when her foot touched nothing, remembered she was right on a ledge and that trying to get further away from that damned horse would send her plummeting to her death. She glared at the animal, trying to intimidate him, before letting her glare switch to Inimicus. But the glare lost all of its scariness and she ended up sighing and shaking her head as he nattered away to her. Like she cared about that. She was however, wondering why he wanted to be separated from society. But she didn’t return his niceties, and just wordlessly pressed his cape into his hands. "I wasn’t going to go to Griffin’s Peak. I only go there if I need to see Suka, my brother, but there are much less complex ways than of what I’m doing," she sniffed in answer, trying to hide her ridicule. "Honestly, I’m fine. I’m quite an independent girl, you know."If there was one thing that Isabella hated, it was having to tell half-lies. And Inimicus was forcing this upon her. Along with unwelcome flattery, derisiveness, bitter mockery, irritation and teeth-grinding. She closed her eyes for a moment and calmed herself down, telling herself that he was simply a bit of a medieval, courteous gentlemen and that she ought to be grateful for such help. Of course, she wasn’t. She opened her eyes to look at him and scowled unhappily, though it wasn’t terrifying as the user intended it to be. She ought to be nice at least a little bit. A tentative smile flickered on her lips, and she impatiently flipped red hair over her shoulder. "You are of course, welcome to accompany me up to the top. But mind you, I insist on flying, because nothing you say or do will make me get on that… horse." At first, she had been going to say’ beast’. The frightening animal seemed huge to her - or maybe that was just because she was quite short for her race and age. Everything was bigger than her. And if there was something worse than a horse for her… it was a tall horse.

(Godmod okay for Kaida?)

Inimicus may have been no mind reader, he was not a deity and could not read minds or thoughts. He could not read emotions he was no dragon...but he was a vampire and he could feel something in Bella. The blood under her skin, the sweet smell of it, was pumping harder and harder with each passing second, it was a sweet smell but Inimicus didn't care he knew what that hard pumping meant. He had felt it before...from her, from other people he knew by a lot of people he was an initally amusing oddity who became more and more annoying with time. This modern way of thinking and independance...it was both great to see and in a way sad to him, he was who he was and had no desire or ability to change that.

Was it fear, was it anger, he couldn't know and he figured whichever he assumed would be the incorrect choice. She had almost fallen off the cliff but had righted herself before he could even react, yet again proof she didnt want or need any help. He could see in her actions, her clenched body, the way she clenched her jaw...he didn't know if it were anger or cold but either way the result was the same...at least for him. If it were cold she would get more and more annoyed unwilling to show him any sign of weakness, if it were anger...well he knew what she would do then. Either of these meant his presence here was an unwanted one, he should have known that long ago that though they were no longer enemies...they were not friends. People in this world seemed so guarded, Isabella Franchino most of all of who he had met, it was time for him to leave.

He would always want to help people it was how he was raised and taught...but no one wanted that anymore it seemed, no one wanted help, no one who deserved it wanted the praise he lavished on them, few people wanted to be near him...Inimicus shook his head and took back the cloak as nicely as he could and threw it into the wind...it wasnt a good cloak just simple cotton, he watched as the wind carried it into a tree near his house...he would get it later. He dropped Himme softly into the snow and walked over to his horse speaking to Bella without turning, he didn't hate her...but this meeting just reinforced what he already knew, he was a relic.

" I am sorry to have disturbed you Bella, I really did not mean to insult, nor to cast any doubt on your abilities. I know you are quite capable of protecting yourself remember I have or had the bruises to prove it...and I know you prefer to do things yourself. I thank you for your offer but I know that you would prefer me go if your concealed anger is any clue, I understand why you are annoyed by me honestly I do...so I will just leave now. Please pass along my greetings to Suka and my thanks again for my pets, they are a joy to have around. "

Inimicus swung up onto Nacht who was busy eating some oats he had just thrown down. With his head bowed a little Inimicus started the walk down speaking to himself in german, he sighed

"I really am a Relic, nothing I know as right anyone wants me to do, everything I know as right grates on peoples nerves...well I'll see if I can fix the fence before sundown "

Inimicus headed down the mountains towards his house on the back of the large clydesdale.
