[Daoine]

Daoine had woken up early in the morning to find the fridge in the house empty, obviously. So she had set off with Badger to midtown for some breakfast. Walking through the streets of the Marketplace brought back lots of old memories. Her own café had logically closed down since she left but her attention was drawn to a newly opened café. It looked very nice from the outside so she decided to go in and have a look.

She opened the door to the establishment, weary of any old friends or acquaintances that she might bump into. Her arrival at the house late last night had been very quiet but now she was exposed again. The café immediately reminded her of her old place, a lovely smell of fresh coffee and baked goods filled the large room. With Badger by her side she went to take a seat at one of the small round tables and waved to one of the waitresses. The lady came to her table and Dae ordered a large cinnamon coffee and two pancakes with sugar and cheese - yes a strange combination but she loved it for breakfast!

Few minutes later the waitress came back with her order. "Here you go, one coffee and a plate with two pancakes. That makes $8 please." Pointing at Badger she continued "I've also taken the liberty to bring some water for your dog, I thought he might appreciate it.". Badger obviously wagged his tail as she put the water down next to him.
In the mean time Daoine took out $10 from her wallet and handed them over to the lady; "Here you go, and please keep the change." she said with a smile. The waitress smiled back and then trotted off to serve other new customers.

Daoine sipped her coffee and started to eat her pancakes. She was wondering what this new day in Elysia had in store for her.

[Kioni]

Kioni was starving. It was a new morning in Elysia and she was regretting skipping dinner before she went to bed. Her parents told her not to but did she listen? No...

Putting on a fresh pair of clothes, she headed outside to satisfy her appetite. It might have been easier to eat what was there but she had to face facts. There was nothing at home that she was in the mood for. Because she'd practically had the same things more than 3 times the same few weeks. She needed a change. Now. Or else she'd be liable to chuck something out the nearest freakin' window.

Yet herein lied the problem. She had no idea where she was going to go. She was an introverted person most of the time so she didn't exactly venture out all of the time. It was kind of unfortunate because that meant she knew very little about the popular places out there. Well... now was as good a time to change that as any. But to make it easier on herself, she'd pick the first place she spotted.

Le Bon Cafe ended up being the lucky choice and as the girl walked in, she soaked in everything around her. The smels had the most impact. Already her stomach growled in anticipation. Randomly, she sat at a table in a corner of the room. The waitress greeted her but left without an order. For Kioni hadn't made a decision just yet. Her eyes scoured the menu with a concentrated frown. Oi... what to choose?
