Within the first twenty years of their lives, all demons were thoroughly educated in the bestiary of Elysia. Knowing this, Ea continued without waiting for a reply, "Hunt one down for me...and collect its claws. I want them to decorate my new throne. This one's getting too old for my tastes."
The old throne in question had burn marks where Ea lost his temper and slammed down his hand. The cushion painstakingly weaved and drilled into the throne was now dirtied and dull colored.
Waving a dismissive hand at the youngling, Ea backed into his seat and sat. "You may leave."

Upon command, the servant at his side took the gytrash claws from Dracos. She bit her lip and shook her head when she noticed Dracos' wounded leg. He'd limped all the way to Ea's chamber. Ea shouldn't have sent the boy on such a dangerous mission.
"Gytrash claws?" Ciro said with amusement. He looked at the open palms of the demoness as she placed the claws on the table. "Whatever do you need them for? Don't tell me you still collect animal bones?" he chortled.
Ignoring his colleague, Ea turned to Dracos and grinned with satisfaction. "Good, good, these look fresh. I have nothing for you to do for now. Train yourself or visit a friend, if you'd like. I'll send Nairi," the servant in question bowed slightly, "to you when I want you to work."

He approached the thrones and bowed down in front of the only woman. My Lady Kaia, I assume. He straightened, looking up at her. I would like to learn from you the ways of the Earth, if you will permit it. He bowed his head again, holding his hands behind his back. He didn't know what would happen next, though he hoped for a challenge. Nevertheless, he felt confident, and hoped it showed in his stance. He did everything he could, though, to keep from looking overly so.

Her long, slender legs dangled over an armrest of the throne. She had been reading when she heard footsteps approaching. As the demon addressed her by her name, she curiously turned her head toward him, placing a finger on the page of her book. The male spoke politely, and she could tell from his stance that he had discipline. The brown-haired demoness' gaze lingered on him for a while. Finally, she turned to her book and slid a bookmark into its place. She turned fully toward him and descended down the stairs. As she reached the male, she tilted her head to look at him in the eye. "The earth is a calmer element compared to wind and fire...It is natural but no less deadly. Are you certain about your intent?"

He listened carefully to her words. He didn't hesitate before answering. He knew even if he had second thoughts, it was too late. My Lady Kaia, I am completely sure of my choice. I only want to learn the ways of the earth. My Lady, my name is Dialto Amoreh, and I hope to be your newest student. He bowed his head again, but kept his eyes on Lady Kaia.

All that earthy element pent up for such a long time...it would flood out once released. For the next few days, Dialto may find all sorts of plants pining toward him. Such things happened to most earth demons. The raw power would decrease to a healthy level after the initial burst, but for the next few days, grasses and flowers might just pop out where he has walked. It would be a funny sight. Unfortunately for him, he'd have to learn how to control it on his own.
"Acquaint yourself with nature for the next few days...I'll send someone for you later."

He suddenly felt... different somehow. He didn't really know how to describe it, but he felt stronger. When Lady Kaia spoke, he nodded. Yes, My Lady, he said softly. Confidently, he turned to leave the shrines. He didn't know exactly what she had just done to him, but he assumed it had something to do with his new element.
He pushed out the door, and suddenly felt like he should go... find a tree or something. He wandered off to do just that.

His chapped lips pulled back into a grimace as he wondered what his sister would think of his choice. Probably crow with delight. Ignoring the slight discomfort and anticipation that fluttered in his stomach, he dropped to one knee in a deep bow and pressed a hand to his chest. Ilire drew a deep breath.
"Lady Kaia, accept me into your service; whatever you ask of me, this humble servant will do. And besides," He smiled thinly. "how could you say no to such a pretty face?"

Smiling when she heard the footsteps of a fledgling and feeling his aura she knew he wasn't yet bound to an element. She continued to work as the young demon spoke. Turning as his final words were spoken she was was a bit taken aback at the bravery of this young one. For some reason he reminded her of her own son. Walking over to him her deep green dress trailing behind her and her beautiful brown hair pulled back into a tight bun she smiled down at the young fledgling. "You know that earth is an element of beauty and it is a calm element unlike fire." Looking into his eyes she made sure to keep eye contact with him. " Are you certain you wish to bind yourself to me?"

"You know that earth is an element of beauty and it is a calm element unlike fire. Are you certain you wish to bind yourself to me?"
Ilire bit his tongue for fear of angering the fire lord. Fire was...passionate, untameable and unstable in size, shape, and containment. There was no allure there. Earth was unmoveable, emotionless, and sturdy - everything he strived to become. He gave another quick bow before meeting Lady Kaia's eyes. Despite his dislike of the heated element, there was no denying the fire in his mis-matched eyes as he answered.
"I have never been more certain of any thing, Lady Kaia."

Placing a hand on his shoulder her deep forest green nails shimmering in the odd light. Speaking softly she looked at the Ilire "This will sting for a few moment Ilire." Soon he would feel the warm thriving life of his element creeping inside his body. Every where he would go the plants would seem to follow in his wake. On occasions there would be flowers and various other plant life sprouting behind him. Turning away from him she went back to her throne sitting lightly on the green cushions. "Go and learn to control your element. When you feel you have mastered all that you can return to me for your task." Picking up one of the many books on the round table next to her throne she opened it and soon became buried in it's tales.

Dracos wasn't oblivious to the tone that the younger demon held, it was apparent that he didn't like Dracos. Shrugging to himself at his reply to his question of what this summons was about he cringed slightly at the dark mark on the demon's face. Luckily Dracos had been smart enough not to question Lord Ea to his face, nor had he ever gotten on his master's bad side. As the young Demon strode away, Dracos followed him eventually he reached the shrines. Pushing the heavy door open he left it open for the weak younger Demon.
Walking into the center of the large chamber Dracos looked around, it had been quite awhile since he had been here. The only reason he would come would be if he was summoned. Looking over himself he ensured that everything was in place, his armor was dulled from his working in it. His dual blades sat in their hilts, looking over to Raider he wasn't quite sure if Lord Ea would like a raven in his chambers. Stroking his feathers softly Dracos whistled a pitch, the bird took flight and left through the open chamber door. Inhaling softly Dracos proceeded to Lord Ea's shrine. Coming to a halt in front of his master Dracos knelt softly before him his head lowered in respect for the elderly demon. "You summoned me my Lord, how may I serve you?"

Lord Ea was not in a good mood. His servants seemed to get more and more inept with every passing day, he often wondered what happened to the good strong backboned Ifrit he had seen in the day. He had once been a servant, long ago, and what had he done? He had killed his master and taken his damn place, these demons could barely do the tasks HE assigned to them. He sat in his chair rubbing his head as the flames surrounding the throne kept any demons away from all but the supplicant position in front of him...he really didnt want to be bothered unless he was going to be lavished with praise.
He didn't hear the large door open, though he sensed his summoned servant approaching, still he didnt really care enough to look up or even acknowledge the demon's presence. He was probably doing something that would annoy him, all these pathetic wretches did, however strong this one was he was still not as strong as he should be, not as strong as his forebearers. A minute passed and he heard the demon speak from directly in front of him, it seemed Falil had at least been capable of one task
"You summoned me my Lord, how may I serve you"
The boy at least had his place right, My Lord, how may I serve you....perfect servant. Still Ea took his time in sititng up straight, he straightened his back against the chair to give added height above the demon kneeling below him. Looking down he smiled, not a kind fatherly smile, but the type a deer would likely see on a wolf before the hunt. He spoke making sure to throw his voice a little, he was feeling theatric today and besides, if he was going to torture this one he might as well let the other Lords know, especially that fat Nen.
" You took your time in getting here Dracos Panas, please tell me it was Falil's fault I would so love to roast him some more....though if you were just slow I could have just as much fun roasting you. "
He laughed, again not friendly. However he didn't give Dracos time to respond if indeed he had wanted to, thinking of Lord Nen earlier gave him an idea for how to torture him.
" I have a task for you, it is not a request and you will do it. I should like you to test your powers and bring me back the tails of TWO "
Ea held up two long thin fingers
" Adult Prenkayls....ADULT. Go and collect them, when you are done return here with them immediatly "
Lord Ea wanted to see how Dracos would respond to this, Prenkayl's were water creatures who lived in the Ao sea, strong ones too. For a fire demon of Draco's skill it would be intersting to see how he coped, if he did at all. If he failed then Lord Ea would torture him and get his amusement that way...it was a win-win situation like the ones Lord Ea was so good at creating.
