[Niles]

Niles attempted to grab her No, don't you're in enough trouble already, just keep walking, it'll be okay He hoped she'd listen, she had got off easy with the pet shop, another act like that and it might be jail.

He glanced over at the petting zoo himself, he wasn't quite sure who's side he was on, he wasn't sure he was as against it as Kaida, but he didn't like it, he shook him head, not sure who was right and who was wrong.

[Kaida]

Kaida tried to rip her arm away from Niles. She turned back at him and fumed. I can't just stand here and let this happen. I mean... it was one thing, a not right thing, but something minor none the less, when they were in the store being sold. But now... there here for people to poke and be prod at. No one deserves that! Nothing deserves that. Kaida was ao upset and angry, tears started to form in her eyes. All she kept thinking about was her father, and what he must be going through. No doubt he was in a zoo like this too.

What happened next suprised her. In stead of barging over to the animals and shop keeper, she turned toward Niles and went to fling her arms around his neck in a hug, trying to bury her face in his shoulder and cry. At this moment, the anger was too much for her to handle, and Kaida just broke down.

[Niles]

Niles was stunned as Kaida suddenly flung her arms round him, he hadn't really thought Kaida the hugging type. He'd expected her to do something more...rash. He comforted her anyway and moved his arms to place them around her.

There, there, it'll be okay. He wondered what to say that might might her feel better. I know you really don't like this, and it's not much to my taste either, but at least Tom does take good care of his animals, maybe they don't really want to be there, but at least they're safe and well-fed.

There are must worse things in this world He winced, Kaida probably wasn't in a good mood to consider the millions of problems with the world. Maybe we should go, someone from there might recognise you He gazed over, waiting for someone to suddenly yell "there she is!"

[Kaida]

Removing herself from Niles, Kaida wiped away her tears. She tried to put on a front, but just looked pathetic. She looked toward the petting zoo, sending the most evil of glares she could muster, but she assumed it came out pathetic as well.

Kaida looked at Niles, wondering what he thought of her now. She'd had so many mixed emotions since meeting him, she was sure he thought she was bi-polar or something. And this... this huge lapse of judgment, this sign of extreame weakness... she just hoped they never became enemies. He'd have much to hold against her. Letting out a ragged sigh, She looked toward Central Park. She saw a croud gathered near a stall. It looked intresting, but she really wanted to ride something. Suddenly her stomach growled. Food sounds good right about now She said, heading in the direction of the line of stalls.

[Niles]

She started to move towards the stalls, Niles hoped hoped she was okay, she looked like she was back to normal again, but her emotions changed so quickly...who knew?

Niles caught up beside her Tell you what, I'll buy you anything you want from Daoine, my treat. Sound good? He searched for the cafe stall, he knew it was around here somewhere.

[Tom]

Tom watched the couple with interest. He didn't know either of them, but they seemed to be lost, or something. Although they weren't actually in the stall, he figured he could offer them some help. He was a couple of metres away when the Mad Goat appeared. As it soon disappeared again, he figured it wouldn't be back.

"Hi folks, you look lost. Can I help?" Tom asked, smiling politely.

[Piper]

Piper ducked and weaved through the crowd filling the huge room signposted as the Feature Room, searching for Tom. She'd figured he'd be easy to find since he'd be surrounded by animals and cages but the room was so full that she couldn't see through all the people. She tried jumping up to see over their heads and found herself jumping higher than ever before, but it still wasn't good enough. Finally, she decided to just walk around. She was pretty sure she'd find her way to Tom eventually...

[Aeitius]

The moment he heard the rumours of a strange creature on the loose, Aeitius immediately left for the portal to where the location of the reported appearance of that rare being. As he stepped his foot on the other side of the portal, he saw a sign stating: Tom's Petting Zoo.

Soon, he felt the breeze blew its cold breathe toward the innermost parts of his body. People that had witnessed this being described it as an animal that resembles a goat. It was even reported that this mad goat had came out from behind a tree in that part of New York City. Some bystanders who had witnessed what happened even said what it looked like: " Grey to the point of blueness, fur rubbed or chewed off save in scraggy patches across its body, and yellow eyes rolling manically in their sockets, the Mad Goat is a fearful sight. "

Another even pointed out that the mad goat stopped in front of 'that young woman.' Looking to where the direction was pointed, he saw it was... Kaida? " Ah. " was his initial gut-reaction.

Shaking his head, Aeitius soon weaved through the crowd as the place had made people more excited after the appearance of the mad goat. Then, as he walked around he bumped to a young lady... (accidentally of course).

[Piper]

Piper was still wandering aimlessly when someone bumped into her, nearly standing on her foot. She ducked away nimbly, then turned to see who it was, hoping it was Tom or at least someone she knew. This crowd was getting a bit claustrophobic and had made her realise she didn't know many people here in Elysia. Maybe she should go out more and make an effort to make friends. Hi, um... She almost said sorry but she wasn't the one who'd bumped into him. Hi.

[Aeitius]

" Woops, pardon me. " he said as he accidentally almost stepped on one of the gal's foot. Hi, um... " Hi. " he replied. Looking around, he noticed that it was getting crowded by the minuted. " People loved this place, eh? he commented.

[Tom]

After recieving no reply from the couple he'd offered to help, Tom figured he should return to the store. He weaved through the now heavy crowd, bumping into people every now and again. He arrived back at the pet stall and turned to face the crowd, only to see Piper battling her way to the zoo. He grinned.

"Over here Piper!"

[Piper]

People love this place, eh? Piper smiled weakly and looked around with growing desperation. She'd been so intent on finding her way to Tom and the zoo that she'd entirely forgotten to enjoy herself. It just seemed like something they should be doing together as a couple but of course she'd gotten herself lost. Her size had never bothered her before she discovered Elysia but she'd become more and more aware of her shortness sinec she was turned and in a crowd of this size...

And the guy she was speaking to now was rather tall too, he made her feel vulnerable.

Um, yes, I guess they do. Not surprisingly really, looks like they have fun stuff to do. She'd spotted some neat games on her way around and there were some cool twists on popular carnival activities, if only she could find Tom to enjoy them with. Hell, maybe she should just find the exit, and start again. Maybe Tom was with his sister anyway, and she hated to intrude if that was the case, because it seemed like he needed the family time.

She didn't hear Tom's "Over here, Piper!" as she was jostled around. Erm, do you know where the petting zoo is? My... My boyfriend works there and I'm trying to find him but I can't see anything. She smiled. That was the first time she'd actually called Tom her boyfriend, and she was surprised how good a simple word could feel.

[Aeitius]

He nodded at what she said. Aeitius could only recognize her from the marketplace though he couldn't remember what her name was. Though he did not came there just to pet animals as his purpose was to investigate about the strange appearance of a being resembling a goat in the park itself, Aeitius found the place rather interesting.

Then strangely enough he heard something that sounds like "pipe...piper...or puppy?' He ignored it as it was drowned out by the crowd. He heard the lady said with a smile: " Erm, do you know where the petting zoo is? My... My boyfriend works there and I'm trying to find him but I can't see anything. "


He looked around. Frankly, he doesn't know either. But guy's wouldn't tell a lady that he didn't know it. So he replied: " Yes. Hmm...well, follow me. " When he heard the word: 'boyfriend', for some odd reason that made him look the second time toward her. 'Petite and cute. Her boyfriend sure was lucky' he thought. Then as he attempted to lead the way...even though he didn't really know where Tom would be, he asked her: " So what would your name be? I think I've saw you in the marketplace- perhaps in the pet store. " Of course, he tried to look as if he knew were he was going.

[Piper]

Piper smiled with relief when he offered to show her the way. My name's Piper. I work at the pet shop with Tom, and I'm a private investigator. That's more a side job, though. Trying to think if she'd seen him before, she vaguely remembered something but swiftly realised it wasn't him she recognised but his scent. He smelled like... a dog, but not the true doggy scent, it was... You're a shapeshifter! she blurted, stunned, not by the fact that he was a 'shifter but that she'd smelled it.

[Kaida]

Kaida walked from the faris wheel back towards the fourtune tellers. She must have set up shop after Kaida and Niles had pessed through here eariler. She hadn't told Niles the real reason why she wanted to come back over here. Kaida wanted to get a good look at the face of the true pet shop owner. Aiden, the poilce officer that had delt with her, had mentioned some guy named Tom was the owner. Kaida herself thought it was the girl who had been standing at the counter, but she must have been an assistant or something.

Shaking clear her thoughts, Kaida hurried, aware Niles must realize what she was doing by now, and crouched by the neared pillar, so she could peek around it. She scanned the area, squinting, trying to see through all the people. Since she was having such a hard time crouching down, she risked it, and stood up to her full height, and peerd on tippy-toes over the heads of the others around her.

[Niles]

Niles didn't relise what Kaida was doing until he saw her crouching behind a pillar misson-immpossible style. What the? He looked round to see what she was looking at. Much harder now, as the pace had got busier, never-the-less he saw it,

"The petting zoo?" He looked back at her, "look, don't go in if you're planning on doing anything. It's only petting zoo in a million all round the world. If you really want to wreck a petting zoo, do it in Spain or something and then flee the country so they can't find you."

[Kaida]

Kaida turned around and shot Niles a tiny glare. Yea yea im not an idiot. I just want to know who this Tom guy is. That way when i meet him anywhere on the street, i can shift and bite him. Kaida smiled with this last comment and turned back in search for the shop owner. She furrowed her brow wondering if his assistant chick was anywhere around. No doubt she'd nark. Must have in the first place. Kaida scolded herself for not shifting into her animal form in the first place when mussing up his shop. Then they couldn't have pinned it on her.

Then again, it wasn't like the forms she had wern't noticable. In fact... she was the only bear shifter, and then on top of that, a dalmation. She preactically screams, "notice me!" Kaida looked back and Niles who was standing out in the open. She reached to tug on his shirt so he'd be standing half behind her, and out of sight. Do you see him? She hissed. Although she could have talked normally they way the crowd was buzzing.

[Niles]

Niles nodded, still not completely beleiving her. She asked him if he saw the owner anywhere, he looked round. He didn't know what the owner looked like, but she saw a man at the petting zoo who didn't look like he was there to look atthe animals, it was probably him.

"Over there, maybe that's him" He pointed in the direction of the guy.

[Kaida]

Kaida focused her attention on where Niles was pointing. She saw a somewhat tall man, with dark hair. From where she was, she couldn't really see what he was, but she assumed he was human. It seems humans loved to lock up innocent creatures. Whispering to Niles, she griped the piller roughly. If i was a full sized bear... She let her words trail off as in her mind she was the many nasty ends to the caging of animals. Shaking her head, Kaida pushed away from the pillar. There was nothing she could do, but at least now she knew who the man was.

Pouting slightly, feeling helpless, she called over her shoulder at Niles. Comon. We just have to pass this other stand to get to the fortune tellers. And the people of course. Kaida moved in between the sea of people, winding in and out, passing a stand called Bibbin for Aides. She didn't look up at it, but focused on the crowd in front of her. After a few more pushes through the people, she setped up to the stall.
