'Maybe if I'm lucky, I'll run into Kiril... '
Kisei passed many doors, all of them had no clues as to what was held inside. However, there was one at the end of the main hall way that was slightly ajar, and Kisei decided to look into it further. The door was made of black iron and it was twisted in a very complicated pattern. The sudden brightness coming from the other side caused Kisei to squint and she soon realized that she was looking outside again. She had stumbled onto the Garden.

He looked around and smelled something he hadn't smelled for a long time---a weakling demon---one that he hadn't met, that is. As he approached the garden, he wondered what kind of entrance he should make. Shall he startle the weakling or make him(or her) feel right at home?
Deciding to do both, Kiril lit a flame. The minor fireball circled around his pointer finger, gradually growing larger as he walked past the black iron door. With a fwoosh, the medium-sized fireball was launched from his hand and directed at the space right next to the demoness's head. "Welcome to the Temple."

'Wait, whooshing sound?'
Kisei had only a moment to dwell on the thought before a fireball went flying right past her head, crashing into the wall in front of her. She stared at the damaged wide-eyed. 'Now that was unexpected'
But a voice tore her away from the wreckage of the wall.
"Welcome to the Temple." The male voice floated from somewhere behind her. 'So someone threw that at me! What the heck! If I were a higher level I'd... *sigh* but none of that now. First to face my "welcomer"'
Kisei slowly turned on her heel and if at all possible, her eyes grew even wider. Of all demons to be standing before her... it was Kiril. It only took her a split second to realize that she probably looked like an idiot, gawking at him like that, so she tried to regain some of her composure and smirked at him.
"Why thank you, Lord Kiril" she said with a small bow.

"Why thank you, Lord Kiril" she said with a small bow.
Oooh. Lord. He liked being addressed like that. Even though he knew he was better than any of those lords(and lady) in The Shrine Room. Keeping his distance from her, Kiril entered the garden. Mind you, he wasn't afraid of her, but he wished to avoid her smell. As he circled around her to see the damage he'd made, he commented, "The shade of your eyecolor is stunning." A few compliments---for her and himself---should make her feel at home. "I suppose you're new here?"

"The shade of your eyecolor is stunning."
Again her eyes widened a little. 'Was that a compliment??' In her mind she did a little happy dance but it was inturrupted when he asked her something that required an actual responce.
"I suppose you're new here?"
She nodded to him. 'This must be his way of trying to make conversation... but what else can I say without looking like an idiot?' she thought to herself. 'Come on Kisei... think, think...don't say something dumb!'
"Yes actually... This temple is quite nice." "*mental slap* that was something dumb!!' Kisei wasn't sure why she was acting this way... it was quite out of character for her.

Acting the gracious host, he nodded. "Then enjoy." He knew that that statement was over-stretched. The interior of The Dark Temple was exactly the way it was described---dark. Not only was it dimly lit, but it was also littered with cobwebs. Most weaker demons were bound to their respective lords, who only cared if the Shrine Room was clean. And he wasn't about to clean the place. He had much better things to do---like freeing imp dragons.
His sharp teeth gleamed in the sunlight as he remembered the scene back in a certain Deity Giftshop. "I'm a bit disappointed of you." He'd let her guess what he'd meant...and he'd enjoy her perplexed reaction as she tried.

... enjoy? I wonder what there is around here that I can enjoy besides this garden and the occasional bumping into Lord Kirl? Kisei simply nodded again but began to feel uneasy as a moment of silence passed betweent the two. She noticed him smirk and her uneasyness only increased.
"I'm a bit disappointed of you."
Almost immediately a quizical look found it's way onto her face. Disappointed? What did I do? Can he sence just how inexperienced I am? Or maybe he thought that I would be a better conversationalist? Oh, I hope it isn't the fact that he's disappointed in the fact that he thinks I'm weak for admiring him so much that I went to buy a necklace and left with a promise to come back for the ring! *gasp* He must think I'm a stalker!!!!
While all this frenzy was going on in Kisei's mind, on the outside she was very calm and collect. "I'm afraid I don't know what you mean." she responded simply, her mind still going a mile a minute with worry.
please don't let him hate me

"I'm afraid I don't know what you mean."
Not noticing the necklace, Kiril responded, "I happened to be looking through the window of the Deity Shop when I first saw you. You could have attempted to catch certain imp dragon when a vampire dissuaded you from doing so." He made his way back to the entrance of the garden, saying lightly, "Demons should have stronger wills."
The path of the demon is a difficult one. Most demons initially seek to become the highest levels, but throw away their dreams when they bump into their demon lords. Being enslaved to a lord means hours of labor and limited chances of obtaining experience. It was no wonder that most weak-hearted demons fail to level past the low levels.

Imp.... dragon?... OH! But wait.... I lack any experience at all... there's no way I would have been able to catch it... right? But either way, I wasn't about to go wrecking everything in the shop just to catch him... I wouldn't have had the money to pay for it all.
"Demons should have stronger wills."
Kisei's breath hitched in her chest as she went rigid, her eyes growing dark. Stronger wills?... I have quite a strong will! But brain over brawn sometimes is better! I can't believe he would say that!
"Wait." She called out to him, her voise loud and stern but not yelling. "Demons should have stronger wills you say? That's a bold statement comming from someone who watched from outside. Me not catching that imp had nothing to do with that vampire! I have a stronger will than you think!
By now her arms had started shaking a little with anger. How dare he accuse her of such a thing... She dreamed of one day being a powerful demon, one that would be worthy of Lord Kiril's time... but to have him so accuse her of being weak-willed when he had only just met her... well let's just say she wasn't taking it well.

After Kisei's brief tirade, Kiril turned and grinned wickedly. He was the top demon, an aide of Xanth, and know to be fickle. She knew that and still talked back at him. Most weaklings would have accepted his statement and gone 'Yes, Lord Kiril. I'll improve, Lord Kiril.' Fine. This demoness might just make it to the top. She was fiery enough. With some amusement, he looked at the furious girl and said, "Well then. Prove it. Become a strong demon."
This time, his smile was sincere. It was a long time since a demon last became a lord.
Dazadi."Well, if you'll excuse me, I have things to do."
Exiting the garden, he ended this encounter with a wave.
