I've avoided these social networking sites (like Twitter and Facebook) for a long time, viewing them as a fad and leading to unnecessary and wayyyyy too much information about peoples' private lives.

To an extent I still believe that, so I rarely use my personal accounts. However, I've come to believe that they're handy tools for promoting EF, and so I've created a twitter account for EF.

I'm going to be using this twitter account to bring you the latest and greatest news on EF. See, at present, to manually update the newsbox in the sidebar, I have to log in to the admin control panel every time, and this often leads me to forgetting to add something, or take something away, or alter the date of the update, and so on. With the new twitter widget I've added to the sidebar to replace the newsbox, I can do it all from the comfort of Firefox, right from the page I'm updating about, so I don't have to worry about chasing down links or forgetting what date the news was supposed to be for.

In short, laziness wins out again.

In the near future, I hope to also add a page on Facebook, just to spread word about our wonderful game a little more. I have to do a bit of research first because I don't know the first thing about FB beyond the very basics.
