NPCs can be used as plot devices, a point of interest or for the setting. They can be family, friends, foes, pets or random encounters. You can even cultivate relationships with NPCs for in-game bonuses such as access to better items from the Wainwright Brothers and, perhaps best of all (besides the fun of playing, or playing with, NPCs) is that every time you play an NPC or participate in an ONPC thread, you can earn shiny coins for your wallet! :D

Any NPC used more than once should be listed in the database. This includes a Player Character's family, but you can simply give a brief group introduction and then link to more information in your character's journal rather than copying the same information twice.

You can play any of the characters listed in this database using the NPC account, unless the creator has noted otherwise. Please make sure you read the full description to be sure you play them properly (it's also a good idea to read a couple of their threads for the same reason). Alternatively, you can also ask the creator (or anyone else, if the creator allows it) to play the NPC for you.

If your character(s) stands to gain something from an NPC thread (eg. a reward for helping out), you should clear it through an ADMINISTRATOR first.

These guys don't have jobs, as such. Instead they compete in various illegal bare-knuckle fights around Elysia. They base their activity around the edges of New Alexandria, in the less savoury areas. Because they've all been casted out by their own races, they formed their gang to ensure their safety originally, but found that their time as outcasts had made them quite savage. Theirs is a barbaric group, with scraps breaking out to resolve any arguments.

Despite being a human, and supposedly the weakest of the races, Mac is the self-appointed leader of the group. He is a huge man, tall yet bulky, with enormous fists. His noise is squashed at an odd angle thanks to all the fights he's been in, and his hairy knuckles are similarly scarred for the same reason.

Ken and Harry are his main henchmen, commonly found standing on either side of him. Harry's wings are lopsided as a result of a particularly vicious fight, where one wing was almost snapped away from his body. He can hardly fly, which has led him to resent other Anyeli. Ken hasn't had any particular hardships in life; he's just very twisted and dark.

Gary, his twin, is similar to his brother, Ken, but only in looks. They mirror each other in every way, but their personalities could not be more different. Ken is in the gang to extort pain, Gary to extort money. Gary, the younger twin, is the brains behind the gang's betting scams; every once in a while one of them will throw a fight, to the advantage of the group. Gary has an ulterior motive for being here however. His brother Ken has only ever shown positive feelings to one other person: His twin. With Ken around, Gary never has to fear persecution or injury, as his older twin will do his best to sort anyone out.

Finally, there's Roger, who is the newest member of the gang. He is at a disadvantage due to Harry's resentment towards him, but is young and stupid, willing to fulfil any dare or challenge to gain the respect of the group. This normally backfires on him as sadistic Ken is keen to make him appear a fool. Together they make an interesting group, with a many-layered hierarchy.

Appearing to be 23, Sunny is a petite and pretty young thing with shoulder-length pale blonde hair that she likes to braid into mini-pigtails. She loves lilacs and pinks and keeps her wings and horns dyed to match. Her eyes are naturally a cornflower blue but she wears contacts to make them appear violet. Sunny's disposition matches her name: She rarely gets sad or upset and when she does it won't last for long. Bubbly and extremely friendly, she won't let anything get her down for long and is an extreme optimist, often annoyingly so.

Despite her long life of servitude and enforced ignorance, Sunny has a naive outlook and a perky disposition that finally came to fruition when both parents were struck down in a freak lightning storm. Seizing her chance to leave her homeland, Sunny found herself in Elysia, barefoot and dressed in rags. Almost immediately, the less appealing of Elysia's citizens made her a target but before too much harm could come to her, the aptly named demoness was befriended by a good samaritan who fed and clothed her, taught her the basics of Elysian life and gave her enough money to get on her feet. Since that time, Sunny has been studying management and gaining better control of her powers while hoping for a place at the Zanaryan Temple. Working as a shop assistant to gain experience and afford a nice flat on Fox Street, Sunny never has a bad word to say about anyone and has never met a stranger.

At 20, Tasha is fit and mildly athletic, built a little like a cheerleader. She has wavy, black hair that comes to just past her shoulder, and Latina skintone. With a mild Spanish accent, she's typically loud and playful while speaking. Cheery to a fault, Tasha can't stand to see a frown. She's one of those poeple who's genuinely happy all of the time. She loves geology and can frequently be found inside the deepest reaches of the Rowan Caverns, exploring to her heart's desire. She sometimes goes by "Tash". Her forms are all marine, her favourite being a catfish.

The Taskels are a bit like a gang: Once you're in, you never get out. They can be boisterous and overwhelming on any given day, and ten-fold at family gatherings, but individually most of them can seem unfriendly or even cold, with the exception of a couple of the younger generation who are much less entrenched in tradition. To a one, they're hard-working and, being able to claim that their ancestors were one of the first to settle Dardanos, are accustomed to the hardships that the active volcanoes (and a farm) bring.

Like his brothers, Walter has dark brown hair that's parted on the side and usually cut right at collar-length, and a moustache and long sideburns that some would call chops. He wears pinstriped pants, white shirts and bow-ties with various vests, a pocket watch in his vest pocket, and usually a pen or pencil shoved behind one ear. Unlike his brothers, Walter has shockingly blue eyes and doesn't smile nearly as much. He was born 30 minutes before the other two and always held as the responsible one, and therefore can be somewhat serious at times.

The Wainwright brothers inherited the company from their father when he passed away, after travelling the worlds with him and excavating the ruins of ancient civilizations. They thought it was time to settle down and make some real money by investing in a trading business that their father ran on the side. One of the brothers dabbles in shady trading, though, and uses the real company as a front for his side business. Unlike his brothers, William has deep green eyes and is a bit on the scaredy-cat side. (Billy had a bad experience with a monkey once as a child, probably on one of their trips with their father. Walter warned him not to taunt the creature but Billy did anyway and has since had a phobia about primates in general.)
