Naava Makani and Kioni Levenworth ran into a haughty Nymph named Isis in Danurai who led them back to town before nightfall and outlined the dangers they might have run into before they raced off to catch the last anka home.
Evangeline Schelle bonded a little with a stranger in Le Bon Cafe after Jenna Elk saved her from a smooching couple.
Archangel Persephone Anderton and her mysterious boyfriend were seen in Le Bon, where Amlai Henneth was almost commissioned for a portrait of the blue-eyed Apalos.
As the site plot continued in [d=black]A NYMPH IN NEED[/d], Eivyonydd was checked out by Doctor Peter Gruer while Piper Kin and Kioni Levenworth left to search out supplies, leaving Calanthiel Ashelinn and Isabel Armitage to wait for the injured Nymph. In the meantime, Vyon was able to get a diagnosis for his mentors' condition through Peter's aunt while he was being treated, as well as a list of ingredients needed for a cure.
The Christmas spirit abounded in [d=black]XANTH'S GROTTO[/d] where the goddess gave out special gifts every day to anyone visiting her ice maze.
Piper Kin paid a visit to Zephyr Cairbre at his shop, [d=black]DRAGON SCALES SMITHING[/d], in order to buy a christmas present for Dazadi and to belatedly thank him for saving her life.
Elise Theiroe was [d=black]STALKED[/d] by a hungry vampire in Espur.
Dazadi Rhea got to grips with her desire for a pet, as well as Piper Kin's fox, in [d=black]GETTING TO KNOW YOU[/d].
Piper Kin bumped into her childhood best friend Elise Theiroe while out waking her canine friends in the [d=black]FIELDS OF GOLD[/d] outside New Alexandria's city limits.
Dazadi Rhea received a surprising christmas gift from Xanth in the form of a black tiger cub in [d=black]DAZADI'S CHRISTMAS PRESENT[/d].
Having returned to find his sister gone, Dracos Panas [d=black]SPENT THE AFTERNOON[/d] on the River Cora, where he met Isabel Armitage.
Kioni Levenworth tried to [d=black]BUY WEAPONS[/d] from ever-unfriendly Zephyr Cairbre.
While Iris Levian and Evangeline Schelle meandered around the quadrangle in [d=black]A DAY OF BEGINNINGS AND REVELATIONS[/d], Zephyr Cairbre accosted Dazadi Rhea when she told him off for letting his dragon, Slythe, teleport into the crowded area and breathe fire over everything.
Aluscielle Velouet was accosted by Piper Kin's hungry fox, Fawn, in [d=black]LE BON CAFE[/d].
Calanthiel Ashelinn's trip to Danurai with Piper Kin continued in [d=black]WANDERLUST[/d].
Kioni Levenworth and Piper Kin met up on their way back to the portal for the site plot in [d=black]A NYMPH IN SPEED[/d], collecting Naava Makani and Dracos Panas as well as supplies on the way.
Hellfire and brimstone rained down on Zephyr Cairbre's smithy when Xanth, summoned by a terrified Faroah, arrived to [d=black]PREVENT HIS ATTACK[/d] on hapless vampire Isabel Armitage and lecture he and Jenna Elk on the burdens of racism.
Alexis Fey was enthralled by Sabrina Casius during their first meeting in the [d=black]FAE FOREST[/d], and the pair continued their impromptu tour in [d=black]DANURAI[/d].
Piper Kin discovered Dazadi Rhea's [d=black]NEW PET[/d] and was surprised by the apparent change in the Anyelos.
Eivyonydd and Isabel Armitage won [d=black]THE LOTTO[/d] to be the 2009 Spring Festival Parade King & Queen.
Alexis Fey ran into thief and bandit Vincent and his dragon Zan on [d=black]THE ROAD TO ALEXSHIRE[/d].
Armed with a list of ingredients, Eivyondd, Calanethiel Ashelinn and Isabel Armitage stopped by Aunt Jane Gruer's [d=black]HERBALIST SHOP[/d] to buy the medicine they needed for the site plot.
Isaac Serendipity practised flying under the watchful, if somewhat incompetent, eye of substitude instructor Andrew in [d=black]TRAINING[/d].
Dazadi Rhea surprised herself with a trip to [d=black]LE BON CAFE[/d], where she met Sabrina Casius and got some pet advice from the young Nymph.
Piper Kin led Kioni Levenworth, Naava Makani and Dracos Panas to the portal where they'd planned to [d=black]RENDEZVOUS[/d] with the others, and met up with Calanthiel Ashelinn who had been sent for some clothes and more supplies.
Dazadi Rhea went [d=black]FISHING FOR KRAKEN[/d] on the Ao Coast.
Piper Rhea headed to [d=black]THE CRYPT HOTEL[/d] for some overdue lessons and met fledgling vampire Isabel Armitage there.

We welcomed new members Grey, Ces, Ian, Alex, Pilot and Enraya. ^__^
We [d=black]ALTERED THE WAY[/d] that usershops are run to free them up for multiple visitors.
I [d=black]REINTRODUCED[/d] the [d=black]NOTICEBOARD[/d] where your character can get a one-off job, special assignment or hear the latest gossip.
I changed the age and aging rules and updated the [d=black]AGE CHART[/d].
I made replying to announcements [d=black]MANDATORY[/d].
The way we sort character applications [d=black]CHANGED[/d].
We got rid of the annoying and unhelpful [d=black]MY ASSISTANT[/d].
I gave the [d=black]FAQ[/d] a bit of an overhaul and updated the rules regarding [d=black]MULTIPLE CHARACTERS & ACTIVITY[/d].
Elysia's currency was [d=black]CHANGED OOCLY[/d] from dollars to [d=maroon]XANTHOS[/d].
The [d=black]WORLD MAP[/d] received a [d=black]MAJOR OVERHAUL[/d].
The [d=black]ANYELI LEVELS[/d] were overhauled and the racial information updated.
The [d=black]PRIZE SHOP[/d] was given a [d=black]massive upgrade[/d] and, as a result, I updated the [d=black]KARMA[/d] and [d=black]AWARDS[/d] pages.
I released the new skin [d=black]INTO THE UNKNOWN[/d].
The [d=black]MARKET RULES[/d] were updated.
I posted up a new [d=black]NPC DATABASE[/d] filled with goodies.
We set up a new archive forum called [d=black]LIMBO[/d] for stalled threads.
I gave the [d=black]WEBSITE[/d] a [d=black]NEW LAYOUT[/d] and updated the [d=black]BESTIARY[/d] and [d=black]BOTANY PAGE[/d].
I lifted the ban on humans after giving them [d=black]AN UPDATE[/d].
And finally, this newsletter has been given a new layout which matches the Moonlight layout seen on the [d=black]WEBSITE[/d] and that I'm gradually phasing into all official posts.
