- So we got two versions of Riders in the Sky because we both like Frankie Laine's version with lyrics, but I also love the Shadows' instrumental version. (I was looking for the version from Ghost Rider - DUDE, I love that scene - but couldn't find it. )
- I've adored Hallelujah since I heard it in Shrek, but Mom insisted on the Alexandra Burke version and man, she's so right. It's so powerful and gorgeous, and it literally brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it.
- Bleeding Love by Leona Lewis.
- I also bought an Annie Lennox album because I love a lot of her songs, like Broken Glass and No More "I Love You's".
- And Johnny Cash. I never knew, but my mom loves him. And I adore Hurt and The Man Comes Around. I also like his Ring of Fire and his album has another version of Riders in the Sky on it, but that was just coincidence. Promise. >_>
- Mom also bought Halo and If I Were A Boy by Beyonce Knowles and Not Fair by Lily Allen, but I dunno if I like them.

Me and my mommy went music shopping tonight and spent over £20 on downloads, haha. I haven't splurged on music for a while, but it (and a few music chats lately) have got me wondering what our members listen to (and if anyone will recognise the songs we bought ).

atm, i'm listening to REM. 'the sidewinder sleeps tonite', i think it's a lesser-known song. next is the end of the world as we know it.

Hah, I removed all my music from my hard drive, thinking to clear up some space, and put it on an external HDD. So guess what? When I synced up, all my music disappeared off my mp3. I took the opportunity to clean out the ones I don't listen to very much (if ever) and the ones I don't like, so now I have just the two playlists (Shadows for bedtime, yay!) so I'm currently listening to a pretty big playlist that just got done with ABBA's Andante.

Hey Grey! ^__^
lol you're so organised having that thing. It won't let me load it though, telling me to download the latest flash player even though I have (Neopets keeps telling me the same thing ).
I'm currently listening to Enya's May it Be. Very moving song, this.
