Alexshire

Alexshire is a city-state straddling the River Cora. It is made up of the City of Alexandria, a couple of hamlets, and 300 square miles of farmland. The rich district (known as New Alexandria) houses some 5,000 of the city's wealthiest merchants and officials, and was built around Elysia's main portal.

Willow made her way through the busy market place. She had got to know the way around the place. Just like the groves back home she knew every inch of the place. She learned the wonderful smell of Le Bon Cafe most of all. She wasn't a usual or anything like that just every blue moon she made her way to the nice cozy cafe. Even if it was mostly busy and crammed with people. It was really bad in the summer though lots of people in one place making it unbelievably hot. Willow weaved through all the people making it to the front of the cafe. She took in the smell of the yummy pastries. Her nose brought her to the front door of the cafe. Opening the door to the cafe the smells became stronger. The whole atmosphere was inviting to just sit down and relax. Her eyes looked around as a few looked at her. She smiled and waved at the people that had noticed her arrival. Willow made her way to an empty table in the far left corner of the cafe. She sat down and watched everyone rushing in and out. Everything was just a blur because everyone was just rushing and it was so busy. Willow’s eyes then fell on the flowers in the middle of her table. There beauty was unexplainable Willow’s love for nature was just so strong a simple piece of grass was beautiful to her though. At least the flowers weren’t fake taking nature and making a fool of it was what she thought fake flowers were like. Willow crossed her left leg over her right and watched the waiters and waitresses. One waiter smiled at her and made his way over. “Good morning me’ lady what may I get you?” He said with an award winning smile.

Willow smiled at him and tucked her hair behind her ear showing her bright blue eyes. “I think I will have a Espresso Con Panna thank you…” She said reading his name tag. “Greg.” She smiled at him. He nodded with a smile and went on with everything else in the busy café. Willow sat and played with the table cloth that laid in front of her as she listened into the conversation behind her. Something she usually did in the busy café.

Finally her drink arrived it seemed like hours sitting there listening to two older woman talking about others. “Thanks Greg. Good luck out there.” She said with a slight laugh. He gave a worried glance at me and laughed along too then hurried away to serve everyone else. Willow set the cup down and straightened her back. She took her finger and got some whip cream on it and sucked on her finger. Her love for the fluffy cream was great. She closed her eyes and took in the smell of her coffee. She sipped the delicious coffee and gently set it back on the table. Her eyes opened and she watched the world go on around her.

((Annabel and Winsted, both seemingly human (and their gaggle of children) played by Emma))

The cafe's doorbell jangled as a small group of humanoids entered the cafe, bringing instant chaos with them. The man, at first seeming quite short as he hunched over to reprimand one of his boys, straightened to his full height of six feet as he approached the counter. His face was a mask of frustration and weariness, and he was forced to turn back several times, as he waited for attention, to yell out a name and command the responding child to stop whatever it was they were doing.

Meanwhile, the woman, as fresh-faced as any mother could be with so many rowdy offspring under her wing, shoved rough-hewn blonde curls back from her face and pointed. Her arm shook slightly with tension but was an unmistakable command for the child nearest to her, who immediately stopped arguing and dropped to her knees to look under the nearest table.

“I'm sorry for the rabble,” came the man's voice from the counter, raised to be heard over the excited babble of young voices. “But has anyone seen a snake?”
