Today had not been easy. First she'd overslept by half an hour, and because she was still without employees, she'd arrived to a shop full of whining animals wanting food and needing to go to the bathroom. It was not something that she had enjoyed doing, and she vowed to get up earlier from now on.
She'd barely had time to shower, and was running around the shop, one converse tied, the other one not, waiting for her to trip. She had thrown on some black pants and a backless shirt; they where all that wasnt in her dirty clothes bin. She really had to talk to Eramus about who got laundry duty.
One of the falcons had gotten out of its cage, and no matter how many times it had been put back in, it found its way out, and exasperated, she'd finally let it fly around the shop, putting out a perch for it by the register infront of the warm air return. Today it was flying near her, ready to dive for her hand should she grab bird food.
"What am I gonna do with you?" She asked, running a hand fondly along the birds back, which was rewarded with a nip to her fingers. "Ouch!" Ignoring the pinpricks of blood, she jumped over the counter, pulling on her apron before flipping the shop sign to OPEN and winding up a toy for the falcon. It would run around the shop, keeping it busy and hopefully away from visitors, giving her the appearance of more control.
