Yep, it's that time of the year again (actually, a tad on the late side, really ).

I'm in a bit of a rush so forgive the lack of the usual drabble. Basically, if there's anything you or your characters want from Xanth's Grotto this year, please post a list. Otherwise, I'll default to cash/karma, and that can get kinda boring.

Rare materials for weapon smithing. (Jewels, beast parts, rare metals etc)
More spiff dragon equips.
A helmet to help shield his mind from telepathy
Things for Derina
A Safe of some sort that Derina/Faroah/etc cannot get into

*Hums "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas", then pauses* I'm not humming that. I'm humming "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Xanthmas". I knew you'd think it was the other thing, so now you know. *Goes back to humming*

• I don't know if Xanth gives living presents, but ... a pet that wished for a loving home would be very welcome. Who says that animals can't make requests of the wonderful Xanth? Maybe its an animal that lost its previous owners and just isn't young enough to be adopted by its cuteness alone? Anyway, any pet in need will be loved by Phen, indeed!
• Any musical instrument, though Phen can only play a few (flute, hand bells, mandolin, and hand drums).
• Something for one of her dancing costumes, perhaps? I wouldn't assume that Xanth would give an entire costume, but perhaps a beautiful scarf in the colors of the ocean? Something like that.
• Perhaps a gift to remind Phen of her mixed heritage, in a good way?

*Scampers off, still humming to herself*

I'm honestly not too sure what to ask for, as far as Dante is concerned. But, I'll give it a go


1. Perhaps some alchemical ingredients. They can be rare, common, whatever. He just needs something to "play" with

2. Maybe a pen that never runs out of ink, or something else that would benefit Dante's need to keep notes in journals.


Honestly, I'm not sure what else to ask for. Feel free to be creative with it. Otherwise, do what works best, or is easiest.

My post, she has vanished. o.o

1. Some kind of gold-printed Jesses for Frightful or a collar for Zev
2. A nice warm coat to wear
3. A claudah ring or some other form of irish jewelry
4. potions to aid in the speed of transformations

hmmm... since Isabel is uber late... a pet maybe? but anything will suffice. She's not very picky when it comes to material things anyway despite her background. Erm... Surprise her?

• Beautiful sea-green gossamer scarf - Silver thread runs through the fabric in a spider-web effect.
• Tiny frosted glass figurine - This is of an Apali woman hanging from a delicate silver chain. The figurine appears as if made of ice.
• Zanaryan flute - This flute is rare in Elysia. It is made of an unfamiliar dark wood and highly decorated with Zanaryan symbols. It gives an exotic, mournful sound.
• An angel snake - Though perhaps not what she had hoped for, the snake is beautiful and in much need of a home. On her cot, Phen will find a glass tank and basic pet supplies waiting for her.
