Hi!

I was supposed to post in Nic's account but that man has been spamming more than he's supposed to so I hopped accounts and what difference that makes, I don't really know. ;; But 30 day memes! I'm not sure if you guys know of this but these memes are like...sprouting around everywhere like mushrooms or wild pokemons so I thought I might look for an RP version and unsurprisingly, I do find one! So being the sheep that I am, I thought I'd do it but doing it alone is kinda boring -- that's why I'm inviting you guys! ;;

I'm doing mine in my OOC journal (some people might know it as a CDJ or a character development journal? But mine is basically a journal I spam with RP matters so I don't know where the "character development" comes in there ) and I don't know where you guys might do yours but I'm posting the prompts here so anyone can go wild at them:

I don't have an active journal, so I'll just post here. And because I started this a week later, I'll start off my post with three days instead of one!

day 01 - your favorite genre (type of site)
Forum-based, of course! On a very un-biased as I can be POV, EF's layout is one of the best ones I've encountered. I've tried roleplaying livejournal/blog-style, and in single threads of a forum, and even via e-mail between friends. Forums are just so much more organized in terms of data, finding posts, and cooking plots. ^w^

For the genre, I'm fine with almost anything as long as it's humanoid. Animal-based RPGs just aren't for me, I guess (though I love playing Aiden in his animal forms!) I'm a fan of urban fantasy, or if not, then the extreme opposite (medieval fantasy--though I've never stayed in those RPs for long). One thing I stay very far away from are school-based RPs. Being a rabid fan during high school, I tried a Hogwarts RPG back in the day, and I didn't like it. =P

Scifi, western, fantasy, contemporary, history...I'd like to try every genre sometime. I don't think I'd mind the genre as long as there's enough room for creativity, and my characters can be active. I'm more of the quest-y and plotty type, so action's good. ^__^

day 02 - your favorite male pb
EF's the first site where I've ever used a real-actress as the PB, so I don't have many characters to choose favorites from. But for males, I'd name Jared Padalecki. He looks so huggable and friendly and that fits Aiden perfectly.

day 03 - your favorite female pb
Keira Knightley as Xanth. Maybe it's just the way Emma makes her sets and layouts, but I think the Keira-Xanth combination fits. Is it weird that I'm reminded of Xanth whenever I see Keira Knightley?

Hee! It's not weird at all! Every time I see actors/etc on TV, I have to double-take. The one I remember most as being weird is Mini Anden in the ad for that perfume. One of the original source images I used (that Dora found for me) was a magazine version of that, so very time I see the ad I think "omg wtf is Daz doing?!". They use a different model now, though.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks Keira-Xanth is the perfect combo, though. I remember someone saying once that it was just wrong, but I can't imagine anyone else's face for Xanth.

(And you're so right about Jared Padalecki. )

I second this! When he became Aiden's PB, I thought about it and the next thing I know, he's no longer Jared. He's Aiden to me.

I know that picture! They still rotate that picture from time to time at the Macy's near my school. Haha, I'm such a geek 'cause every time I see it I go like 'hey it's Daz!!!'...in my mind of course. I'm not that weird. ;P

Is it conceited to say that I love Kevin Sorbo as Zeph? He's like... my favorite male PB match ever. It took like over 2 years to find the perfect model for him, too. (He started, over 4 years ago, as Kilik from the Soul Calibur game series!)

day 03 - your favorite female pb
This one is really hard. I'm really torn. I love Jessica Alba as Naava, but I think Keira Knightley on Xanth is so eerily fitting. Again, though, I still remember that lovely pixie-fairy-thing she started as oh-so-long ago.

day 04 - your favorite ship
Zeph/Kiel. So much fun and hot sexy tension. So good. So so good. Also, it was never intended to happen (in fact, originally I was teasing Emms about how it wouldn't!). I guess you never know where RP leads.

day 05 - your favorite crackship
I had to google this phrase. Uhm... Honestly? Chen/Xanth! It makes me SOOOO happy inside. However, in reality it will never be Poor Chen.

day 06 - biggest pet peeve
Bad writing. Powerplaying almost ended up here, as that censors me off (even more than GMing!), but poor writing literally hurts when I read it. And yes, that is why I almost never re-read my posts. THEY'RE SO BAD. -cringe-

day 07 - favorite character you’ve ever made
Unfair question is unfair. Uhm... Honestly, I love Chen. Soso much. I wish I could write him more. He was my first, and I feel like if it weren't for some IC/OOC drama that happened, I'd still be writing him into oblivion.

day 08 - favorite gender to play
Male. It's just easier as... well... I am one. Also, they're more fun in my opinion. Not that I don't love Naava, sometimes I'm just like whyyyyyyyyyy? at her muse.

day 09 - character you’ve made more than once
Uhm... Tsiyone I guess? Being as I've reinvented him like 4 times. I've reused character names... but I keep every site I'm on incredibly distinct.

day 10 - a band you’ve started to listen to because of rping
None, really. MAybe a few from friends met due to RPing, but none that I can name off the top of my head.

day 11 - a memory
... what kind of question is this? It's too hard!!! X_X Uhmmmmm... I remember when EF was a baby, and I first intro'd Chen. And he discovered the caverns. And Xanth was a butterfly. And there was a unicorn.

Oh, and that was not all too long before Naava died.

Uhmmmmmmmm. There's been a couple, but I usually get sick of mine after a while. I really love the Icon I made for Calin, though.

Zeph/Kiel!!!!! Was sooooo much fun, probably because it went sooooooooooo fast!!! I've never RPed so well or so quickly in my entire life. Omg, I need to do that again.
