Posting priorities

Hi, guys! Just a random thought I had that I wanted to turn into a discussion and see if anyone thinks like me: how do you prioritise your posting order?

Like, for me, I'm usually in way more than one thread, and sometimes there's a crazy amount of replies I have to make, so I have to decide which ones to do first and which could stand to wait until the next day. As staff, I feel like the most urgent ones are ONPC/specials, so if we have an event or plot going on then I try to get them up first (since, you know, the less time between posts in an event/plot, the less likely it is to stall and all).

Then I tend to look at which of my own characters has the most to post (usually it's Kiel), because it's easier to get into one character for a session than to hop in and out. So once I'm logged in to that character, I check who's been waiting longest, and make them my priority, although sometimes if I'm struggling with a reply, I'll skip them and leave them until later (sometimes even until last) so I can percolate ideas.

So what about you guys? Do you reply for whichever charrie you're already logged in to? Or if you only have one character, do you just post at random, or do you have a system like me? XD

Woooooooooow, interesting topic of discussion! Makes me think about my own system. XD

Hm. Well, the way I work, it's usually in a first-in-first-out basis so whoever tags me first gets my first tag. The same applies to my characters like say, Nic and Kazu both have logs and everyone in EF is online (what a wonderland that would be *_*). If Nic gets tagged first, even if I'm in Kazu's account, I'm going to account-hop just to attend to that tag. When it comes to ideas, though, based on my experience I tend to have a good-enough brain to come up with them in a matter of moments but when my spring of ideas does run dry, I do tend to leave the tag for later or last but I do my best not to let it wait out until the next time I get online.

When I get the tags during my sleep, though, I still try to answer the first tag first or sometimes, I attend to the oldest log and leave the newest one for last although in some days, I just do whatever I click first and be done with it. XD;; Sometimes, I also answer the tag of whoever player is online. When it comes to accounts, too, I finish the account with the least number of tags first before I go to the account with the most number of tags. Or, I finish with the account where I have to do more things with like say, after a post, I need to revamp Kazu's layout or make a narrative for him, I finish his tags last.

Or sometimes, I finish with the account I went to stay on for the rest of the night/day with. XD;;

Just as a general rule, I go from the order of oldest thread to newest thread. That way, it's fair to the other players who have been waiting on me. I also look at the situation of the other players. If a certain thread has more characters in it, I'll prioritize that one in order not to keep a whole group of people waiting. Contrarily, if I know someone is super busy and can't reply too regularly, I'll lower its priority a bit and take it slower XD

Sometimes though, my muse for a certain character might temporarily ditch me and then I'll switch to an easier character to reply with. In most cases, Lazuli is my general cure-all/default, because I've been RPing her for the longest time and thus know her best. XD

As for accounts, I log into whichever one needs replies. I have no problem with account-hopping. If not, I just stay in Lazuu's :D
