[Aiden]

Anybody want to start a quest with Aiden? He'd probably take one of the ones in New Alexandria, but I'm sure that I can find a reason for him to take a different quest too. The only quest I think he wouldn't do is 'Excessive Plumage', since Aiden dislikes the idea of capturing wild animals for domestication.

There are already a TON of threads out there and I wonder if anybody even has a spare RP spot for questing, but I'm asking anyway because quests are oh-so-fun!

Yay! Aiden's never met Isabel, so I'm trying to think of a quest where they might have an excuse to work together on...Maybe Isabel is friends/acquaintances with one of the NPC's who posted the notice, and is helping, and Aiden is helping because he's the Guard?

Before I pick a quest, do you have any preferences?

Anyway, no I really don't have any particular preferences... I was thinking maybe "NOTABLE : ADVENTURE : ROLLIN' DOWN THE RIVER" could work. It would be kind of suicidal to have just one protection detail (unless that particular protection detail is uber strong ) so that would mean the NPC would hire more than one person giving Aiden and Issy an opportunity to meet

Agreed! I'm sure the merchants have basic self-defense skills too, but I'm sure they'd still prefer to travel with more than just one bodyguard. I've posted a thread to get things started. ^__^

I didn't put much detail into it other than the knowns (travelling by caravan & getting there in three days, assuming they start on a Monday). I figured we could get the thread started and figure out the details along the way.

So...yeah! What do you think the cargo is? Since Corantha is so close to the Duskies, maybe it's gemstones and/or metals? Also do you want to plot for future events in the thread? Assuming that they follow the major road along the Cora, they'll probably encounter bandits. Lake Cora's also infested with wraiths and tepua plants in the Banshee Bogg region if you want to tackle those.

and yes, I think precious stones and metals makes perfect sense. I also don't mind plotting early Looking at the map, it would be possible to encounter some wraiths and tepua plants since we will be passing through the outer edge of the bog right? or will we be passing through the bog itself? >.>

Methinks they're passing around? Since they're travelling via land, right? Anyhow, I think an encounter for Aiden/Isabel/wraiths would be interesting to play out. Anything else? I'm sure a three day journey via caravan would be pretty eventful...perhaps it rains and the wheels get stuck in mud, or one of the tarochs got loose. They can hunt for lunch, or drop by one of the river towns for a meal?

We can probably GM a day's worth of stuff sometime in the thread too.

Ooooh, that's a good one. Are there any others (smaller, maybe) the wraith can start with, like spiders or lizards or something? They tend to generalise first and then narrow down to specifics once the victim is overwhelmed enough to "read" their deepest fears.

Sorry about delay! Quick list of Aiden's fears, in the order of generalized to deeper ones:
- Plants that move, b/c that's just weird. He's also had a bad encounter with the Lunastur when he was young.
- Turning into The Hind (so one could say he's afraid of being bitten/attacked by a vampire)
- The Hind
- Being eaten alive
- Not being there for friends/family when they're in trouble
