This month's contest will be another DAP (Design a Plant) for the Herbarium.

Your entries don't have to be about plants with special properties or man-eating legends or anything fantastical at all, but I want plants that are native to EF. These can include anything from night bloomers, or trees that only blossom when Selene and Neme are closest together, or bushes that grow nuts that taste great during the day but foul at night... Giant plants, rare plants, poisonous plants, dangerous plants, beautiful plants, exotic plants, garden-variety plants; bushes, shrubs, trees, flowers, weeds, grasses, mosses, reeds, vines... You name it: if it's a plant, you can enter it!


To submit::

• Read the Submissions page. All entries should be posted on the wiki in the herbarium as a draft, then a link posted here.
  
  
• You may submit any plant of your own design (you may take inspiration from other sources, but the result should be uniquely yours).
  
  
• No copying, plagiarism, etc!
  
  
• You can submit artwork as well as a written description but the art must be yours.

Disclaimers::

• Even if you win, we may not be able to use your design. Some just don't fit into the mythology of Elysia so while we will do our best to introduce them, we may simply decide it's not possible. We apologise if that's the case, but don't worry! You'll still keep your prize. ^^
  
  
• We may use entries that haven't actually won the contest if we feel they fit well enough but only the winning entry will win a prize (others can, however, claim the Submissions rewards from the Prize Shop.
  
  
• Please note that in entering this contest you are agreeing to let Elysian Fields use your creation, in whole or in part, whether or not you remain an active member. You are also granting us and other members permission to edit your submission in the future.

Awards::

Everyone who enters will receive ζ100 as well as the Submission reward(s) mentioned above if your entry is approved and published.

The winner will receive the DAP trophy for their cabinet as well as ζ500 (on top of the above prizes).
