Just noticed this forum. Since I didn't formally introduce myself, I'm Laura I'm English, and like 99% of the population I drink around five cups of tea a day. My favourite type of teabag is Twining, not only are they unfailingly delicious, they're part of the rainforest alliance. My favourite food is, without a doubt, cheese. In particular, brie. I'm an only child, and my parents love our family cat Hamish (MY cat, really) more than they love me. People who inspire me are... Freud, Tolkien, Orwell, Heisenberg annnnnnd Stephen Hawkings.
Anyone else fancy sharing facts about themselves?

Hello hello to you! I'm Joy, from the US, and I also like tea (but I don't drink as much as you~). I always have a hot cup of tea in the morning when I get to work, but I actually prefer iced tea. I love to read, and I like to write, so it's awesome to be part of EF. Books-wise, I'm a big fan of Terry Pratchett and Patricia Briggs. Also, I like to draw and am always sketching at paper margins.
Have too many favorite foods to name, one of them being cheesecake. I love desserts, and I'm teaching myself how to bake. Among the things I can make are cheesecake bites, muffins, brownies, and cupcakes. So far the fanciest thing I've made was a fruit tar t.
Without further ado, WELCOME to EF! I'm super happy to see you here, and I do hope that all my charries get to meet Elena someday.

Haha, awesome! I always shade in the margins on sheets of paper in pencil, or draw out mathematical theorems in them drives my teachers insane, I think. I wish I shared your talent for baking, at school it's compulsory to study a technology so I do food technology and I'm absolutely disastrous in a kitchen I'm improving though
Nice to meet you, Joy! Thank you!

Ahahaha, I always forget about this forum!
Ooh, I'm English too, but I never drink tea (or coffee). It's yucky. Although I tried a strawberry and mango one, thinking it'd be nice, but it still tasted too much like tea for my tastes.
I also like cheese, but I'm more a cheddar gal myself. Cheesecake is win though! *slurp*

Hey Lauraaa~ I'm Skyla around here, 18 years old, and Chinese. I was born in China but I moved to Japan when I was four and then to the United States when I was 7. I'm an only child and since my parents and I moved a lot I'm not really close to my extended family. ):
I generally despise cheese (except on a pizza/cheesecake), and I've always wanted to drink daily tea but I can never get it into a habit lol. Must be a non-British thing. My favorite food is chocolate!
Some other random facts... I absolutely love to read books in the fantasy genre, including Harry Potter, Inkheart, the Inheritance series, etc. I also like to play games and I almost continuously surf the web in my free time. A few of my recent goals are to learn tennis and get a job this summer.
Nice to meet you and welcome!!
