General: Give my character a chance to react to all interaction, or ask first. Exceptions may be allowed on a case by case basis.

Injury: As long as my character has a chance to react, you may attempt to inflict any injury. I will decide what lands and the extent of the damage dealt. I don’t mind if my character is dragged into battle, stopped from fleeing, or even killed as long as he has a fair chance to react. You do not need to ask before attempting. Alternatively, you may ask for exception as needed.

Torture: As long as my character has a chance to react, you may attempt any forms of torture. Even tied up or otherwise incapacitated, there may be something that my character can do to save himself or lessen his suffering. As long as it’s fair and my character was captured fairly, I will allow pretty much anything. You do not need to ask for attempts as long as they are fair. You may ask if you wish to incorporate something small into your post (like for ongoing torturing), but of course I reserve the right to refuse.

Transformation: Give my character a chance to react to any attempt to infect or transform him. You do not need to ask for attempts to transform him. You may ask if you wish too.

Helping: Give my character a chance to react to healing and attempts to help him that affect him directly (like picking him up). It may be easiest to ask first, but as always you do not need to ask me for attempts to interact made on my character.

Other: Give my character a chance to react to any other power. You may describe what you’re attempting to do to my character, or what the usual effect of your power is, and if its fair then I will probably go along with it. However, I may find a way to turn the tables with some unique quirk of my character, so leave me the option. You may ask to use specific powers without leaving a chance to react, though you do not need to ask for attempts.

Sexual: Just leave my character the chance to react, though otherwise hit on him as much as you want. You may ask for an exception, though you don’t need to ask for attempts as usual.

Fashion Sense: The Silent hates to show skin and always wears black. He usually wears many layers, the first layer usually being tights and the outer most layers being flowing robes, cloaks, or mantels. He usually wears a tight black cloth mask that covers the bottom half of his face. These are left over habits from his days in the military where all the members of his unit were expected to dress in their uniform which made them look like shadows as much as possible.
Distinguishing Features: The Silent distinctly lacks wings. He has two large scars on his upper back where his wings used to be. Additionally his body is pretty much covered in scars from various other injuries. They run the gambit from cuts, scrapes, burns, and lacerations.

The Silent appears to be stoic and cold, but deep down he is very kind and caring. He even has a good sense of humor. Throughout his long life and many sufferings, he has come to an understanding that getting worked up over little things is pointless, and generally tries to just have a good time when he can. He generally remains cool, calm, and collected. He is very reserved and a bit introverted. However he remains determined to the causes he has devoted himself to, and they are constantly lurking in his thoughts.

Above all else, The Silent hates killing.

He joined his faction when he was young because he was expected to by his family and peers, but doesn't actually worship the night anymore. He believes the civil wars are pointless, and it is one of the few things he actually has any opinion on. He his vehemently against it.

Although he acknowledges Xanth as the one true creator, he doesn't worships her, and instead resents her for creating a world in which his people constantly fight over night and day.

What he believes in most is justice.

He is unsatisfied with the way the massacre of his home town was handled by the government, and seeks to remedy the situation himself. What he wants first is answers as he knows little of what had actually happened, from there he will decide what he will do next.

He views his business practices as a means to an end and doesn't really think much of it.

He took a sort-of-vow-of-silence that he rarely breaks. The trauma of losing his wings reinforces this personality quirk. He strongly prefers action, in place of words.

The Silent doesn't dwell on it (at least he tries not to), but he secretly has a death wish. He believes that there is nothing worth living for and that he has already experienced the greatest joys of his life, and lost it. He seeks a peaceful end, and as he does so he uses whats left of his life to tirelessly work towards the causes he believes in.

Occupation: Silent Benefactor - The Silent has invested a great deal of his family fortune in various businesses around the world. Many of them are small time family owned shops and stalls, while others are large businesses with high exchanges of income. He does not outright own any stores or businesses, but instead many of them owe him outstanding loans or other debts that it is understood that he can collect on them at any time. However, if he were to collect on any one loan in its entirety, that business would probably have to shut down as it would lose all its capital to continue business. This would be considered bad form (to ruin people) and if he tried, he probably wouldn't get what he is owed in its entirely anyway, while at he would lose all possibility of being paid back in the future. For that reason, collecting large amounts of funding generally takes a long period of time as he must collect small increments from various places. Most of The Silent's fortunes are wrapped up in investments like these while another large fraction of it goes towards various merchants, debt collectors, and accountants that work directly for him. So, the actual amount of money he has on hand is never very impressive. His agents are known (to few) as "The Quiet". Still, The Silent has a hand in many of the common day services and shops used by the average Elysian, while most have never even heard of him. The documents that detail his various business practices are all signed as and reference to him only as 'The Silent'.
Daily Life: The Silent is constantly seeking justice.
Family History: The Evangelos family was one of the first families who helped found the Skotadi town of Sercena. As such, anyone born into the family instantly enjoyed a certain amount of prestige and clout. The family was considered as nobility of sorts, and they were famous for having most of their fortune wrapped up in the town's economy, leaving the actual family with not much for extravagance. As far as merchants went, they were still considered as upper middle class because of the sheer volume of various investments they handled. Most of the family were wiped out in the massacre fifty years ago, or are otherwise unaccounted for. Tabiris' mother was a Therian. She met Taby's father during his mandatory military tour.

General Background: The Silent was born into a very prestigious family within his community. His early years were rather easy going. He rarely went wanting, and had access to the best educators and trainers around. ver since Tabiris was a child he hated violence, the idea of killing people, and fighting in general. There was just one problem with that. He was very good at it all. He took to his marital lessons at an early age. His mentor exclaimed that Tabiris was among the best students that he had ever taught. Tabiris was trained in a special martial art style developed with in the town known as the "KindShadow" style. It was a special form of martial arts that focused on combining practical strikes with the art of shadow manipulation unique to their race and culture.

All of the prestige and comfort came at a price. Certain things were expected of him. For one there was no choice, he was practically born into the Skotadi faction. The funny thing was, that they made him think it was his choice, but the information he grew up with was a bit more than just a little biased. Second, military service was a privilege, not an obligation. It was decided that he would join the cause at an early age, by Anyeli standards (Though, at this point he was almost a hundred years old). Furthermore, he didn't have the chance to even consider a supporting role (like healer or cook), as he was groomed from childhood to become a soldier and commander. He couldn't betray his family's expectations, or so he thought at the time. Little did he know, none of that would much matter in the end.

Life in the military was difficult, but with his skill and clout he quickly gained in rank. He steadied his resolve and put aside the sorrows in his heart to live up to his family's expectations.
