If there is one way to describe Munir,it is that he is a perfectly likeable guy when he's not picking your pockets/stealing a ruby necklace/rigging a street game that promises the winner money/ cheating at gambling(usually when money's at stake).Although he hasn't stolen anything from Alexshire...yet and is planning to stick with fixed gambling for now.He believes honor is an old decrepit concept that needs to be put out of its misery and that there is no fair in fight.That said,he is not all bad.He would never hurt an innocent for money and he doesn't steal from those poorer than himself.Nir can actually be pretty generous and kind,he will often give to beggars and took the orphan Shila in(although he is frequently not the best role model).

Munir is good at telling people what they want to hear,talking his way out of trouble and persuasion.He is exceptionally talented at the puppy dog eyes and is not above using the fact he is half of what is arguably Elysia's most attractive race to his advantage.He is also rather clever and when necessary,sneaky.Mun is of course rarely above lying or cheating,yet somehow manages to be a loyal friend.He sees no shame in running away from a fight.

He is cautious,often times bordering paranoid,after all the consequences of getting caught would be...unpleasant to say the least.He also has...issues (panicky ones) with certain bugs especially if they are crawling on him such as cockroaches,kumo,Philement butterflies and of course scorpions.He also tries to keep any xenophobic thoughts he has to himself and Shila,but he has a special hatred for Nymphs(because his mother handed him to his father with many an unkind word as a baby and then walked out of his life),the Peteulanus Sept (Bad for business and who really wants someone in their mind forcing them to do who knows what anyway?) and Anyeli (thinks they are violent nuts-jobs).

He also likes to wear nice clothes and takes care in his appearance.He is also trying to break his stealing habit so he can live in Zanarya one day,however he knows he can't just leave Shila.

General Background: Munir's father was a merchant who met his mother at a bar.However she was somewhat of a gold-digger so after he was born,she angrily gave him to his father.Fundaq nevertheless loved his son and raised him himself while traveling back and forth between Zanarya and Elysia.He was a Djinni Aziz and trained Munir until he died when he was 15 in Human years.He then went to live with his uncle who trained him and his prodigy cousin Anahita,more so Anahita(a Mariid by the way).They lived in Elysia and once he officially became a Djinni he was basically shoved out by his uncle.He looked but couldn't find a job and eventually resorted to stealing.Pretty soon,stealing basically became his job.One day he found a thief rummaging through his stuff and saw it was a little girl with a knife and let her stay with him.It paid back when he was running from authorities and she changed form to attack his pursuers and flew away with him.After many travels,he eventually ended up in ALexshire.
