Sadly, I've been informed that the new skin (Nyad's Dream) isn't such a dream for people using Internet Explorer: It won't let them log in (the sign-in buttons are missing). Unfortunately, I haven't been able to fix this issue, because my experience with IE is virtually nil and I really only pretend to know what I'm doing.

So, I have a question (or two). If you use IE, have you encountered this issue before with previous skins? (I'm guessing no, since it's only been mentioned recently, but it's worth the asking anyway.) If not, I'll change the default skin back to something else so that everyone can log in (I don't want to be one of those admins who demands that you change your browsing experience just to play here).

If you have had the same problem with other skins, I'll have to think of another solution (like being one of those admins who demands that you change your browsing experience just to play here ).

I use IE, and I don't have the sign in button issue with any of the other skins. So I guess changing the default is one viable solution, but it seems a shame when you've just made such a pretty new skin. Maybe you could keep Nyad's Dream as the default, but put a disclaimer in the sign in area to let people know that there should be a sign in button, and if they can't see one then they need to switch to a different skin/browser?

That's a thought, but I don't really like saying "if you can't log in, get a different browser", lol. I'm just not sure what else to do.

Oh! I think I fixed it. It was a height thing: The panel wasn't long enough so half the content just didn't appear, and since ENTER doesn't seem to work with the form in IE, there was no obvious way to sign in.

Duh! I should have noticed that.

Oh, awesome! I can log in using IE and Nyad's Dream, now. Thanks for working your techno magic, Emma. Does this mean that Nyad's Dream will go back to being the default skin?
