Wanna borrow money from Jericho?

Jericho and I are looking for new! interesting! and fun! plots. He's a trader of pretty much anything and loans money at extortionate rates. He just moved to Corantha (because he's a chicken at heart *bakawk*), so he's looking for new customers, new suppliers and new idiots borrowers.

The latter gives us the opportunity for a few fun threads where Jeri and his goons attempt to get back what's owed him. It might even eventually lead to him putting a bounty on the head of whoever owes him money (assuming they borrowed enough for its return to be worth more than the expense of a headhunter).

Supplying can also be fun. It'll give you plenty of opportunities for new hunt&gather threads. Jeri's a hard negotiator but fair in the end (assuming he's not dealing with bartering newbs, who he will take advantage of).

He may also be in the market for a new part-time lover since he left poor Misha behind in Hesia with barely a second thought. He doesn't demand faithfulness as long as his partner is discreet, but he does demand a high level of personal hygiene.

Alternatively, you could be an old supplier trying to track him down because he owes you money. Of course, if you're an old customer who owes him money, that also leaves plenty of opportunity for him to stumble across you and decide he wants it back right now. >D

Faris is open to supplying, especially if it's sea/coastal area-related stuff or something he can get easily from the islands of Dardanos. After they get to know each other better Faris can start picking up more inland assignments. (since I need to move him to the capital later on anyway, to start politicking a bit before he goes back home to deal with family business) =D

Ooh, orchid squids are yummy. He'd definitely take some of those, even if it's not business related. And kraken steak/meat, should Faris' ship ever encounter and defeat one. And probably a few other things I can't think of right now.

And he has an anka now, so Faris would only need to meet him in a portal city. Should we RP their first meeting, or pretend they've known each other for a while? Jericho could visit him at the harbour as a kind of "I'm going around all my contacts to update you guys on my new address, can I have some more yummies please" kind of thing. >D

Oh, they could also maybe trade information if Faris ever comes across any of Jeri's clients, though I'm not sure how they'd work that out since I doubt he'll go around telling people who he's loaned money to... :?

Well I think maybe pretend that they've known each other for a while? =d Faris has been in Elysia for two years now, so it would be nice if he could skip the introductions XD Yea that would be good. :D

Information barter is definitely a possibility. Would he though? Hm... Maybe just offhand questions when he and Faris meet? And if Jericho's the sacarstic type he can just go "My long-lost twin/star-crossed lover" whenever Faris asks about their relationship. =d

Long-lost star-crossed! I like that. >D I wouldn't call him sarcastic, but he does sort of lean that way. More condescending than anything. (:

So, do you want to start a thread now, or wait until after Faris reaches Espur? Jericho could be there waiting for him, by which I mean he's at the harbour looking up Faris and other sailor types and just happens to be there when the Artega pulls in?

Faris could start out as just answering questions, then accidentally find himself listening more and more? It might help him as a skill when he goes back to Zanarya. XD

Yea that sounds good. Faris can invite him to his house for some chitchat over tea(?) or something =P
