First Impressions: Maysen wears fairly simple and unremarkable clothing, most made from leather or cotton, nothing fancy; she is often seen wearing her gray hoodie. Maysen is often seen carrying her crossbow over her back when hunting.

Distinguishing Features: Maysen does not have many distinguishing features. She does, however, have a few faded burn scars on her arms, legs, hands, and face, but they are hardly noticeable unless you are very close (in proximity) to her.

Description: Maysen is rather short for a Dracovarian, standing at only 5'6". Her voice is soft and a bit lower than one might assume because Maysen doesn't speak often, so when she does, it sounds soft, low, and almost whisper-like. Maysen has a relatively cool and unreadable expression; she tries to keep most of her emotions from surfacing, the only other emotion occasionally seen on her face is determination.


Maysen's personality was once much different that her current one; she used to be happy and joyful like any other child, but after tragedy struck, her personality slowly changed and warped into what is is now. To others, her eyes seem cold and expressionless, people often feel as if she is looking through them rather than at them when she speaks to them. Truthfully, Maysen does feel emotion, but has basically become afraid of letting it out. Maysen has serious trust and loss issues; she has put up a sort of wall to block out feelings by trying to distance herself from others. She refuses to show much emotion to others and avoids getting too attached to anyone, for fear of losing them or of them betraying her. Maysen does let out her feeling sometimes when she lets her guard down; the occasional tiny smile, or a few tears. But it rarely lasts long before her stoic personality returns. Although she seems impersonal towards others, she finds it difficult to ignore people who are in trouble or in need, she believes that everyone deserves a chance at life and happiness, despite shielding herself from getting close to people. She will go out of her way to help others, even if she knows it will cause trouble for her.

Maysen was born. The birth of Arthur and Flora Fernell's first child.




Thallominas 12th, 9,913 XA (age: 21 looks: 3)-

21 years after Maysen was born, her sister, Adelia, was born. Maysen and Adelia were each other's best friends throughout their childhood, Maysen called Adelia "Addy".





9,913-9,941 XA (age: 21-49 looks: 3-8)-

When she was very young, her father began teaching her survival skills, she learned to fish, build fires, identify plants that were safe to eat, and learn to hunt. Maysen especially loved practicing with her father's crossbow. She became quite good for someone so young, and on her 47th birthday her father gave her her own crossbow.




Penteminas 10th and 11th, 9,941 XA (age: 49 looks: 8)-


Maysen returns in the evening to find her house in flames she managed to get inside to try and safe her family but the fire had spread all over the house, burning everything, and she barely escaped with her life before her house collapsed in flames. No none is able to uncover how the house caught fire, while most people close to the family believe it to be some sort of terrible accident, others were suspicious that it could have been murder, although the Fernells weren't known to have any enemies. Maysen also believes that someone may have killed her family and she could do nothing to help them. They burned to ashes while she stood surrounded by flames. Maysen knew that if she hadn't been out late, she would have died with them. Her mental and emotional stability is destroyed after this horrific event.



9,943-10,011 XA (age: 51-119 looks: 8-17)-

Maysen goes off to live with Jacqueline, her mother's older sister. Her erratic, harsh, elderly aunt lives in a small cabin in Danurai Her aunt treats her badly and is not always in her right mind; when Maysen is 110 her aunt dies, and she is relieved. She lives alone for the rest of her adolescence practicing the hunting skills she learned from her father and living off the land. Despite being quite capable of taking care of herself and living a stable life on her own, she has a defeated and hopeless outlook on life, feeling trapped and alone there.



10,012 XA (age: 120 looks: 18)-


Maysen finally leaves her lonely, pointless life in Danurai to search for meaning in her life now that she is a young adult, she develops a more determined attitude but also becomes more cold and distant.
