Ooh, intriguing. I don't have an active Anyeli myself that I could throw in (Daz doesn't count since she's meant to be neutral ) but just as the admin I can say I'd encourage this. I can also answer to a couple of the questions here, so lessee.

Anyeli are Xanthians in general, so the whole faction wouldn't get into bed with anti-Xanthians, especially since the original clash was based on their differing religions already. But small branches and individual units can go off on a tangent pretty easily since military chiefs are given quite a bit of leeway to choose their own tactics, targets and allies, so one of them could definitely try to align themselves with the Sect. Although I think it would be more likely for the Sect to surreptitiously approach them first, rather than the other way around.
