The events in Chapter One all took place on Erimis 1 (1st July). This list is chronological so is not necessarily recorded in the order the posts were written.

  • The scouts find the attackers' camp in the ruins of Athendíl. Currently known as "bulls", they are cooking Nymph meat.

  • Nimisha and the cartographer argue over their next course of action.

  • Alain and Ramsey leave the vicinity to report in by COM.

  • Nimisha starts to attack the bulls. Rusty grabs and silences him.

  • Jericho attempts to read the mind of a smaller bull.

  • Kiel and Aiden protest Rusty's treatment of Nimisha.

  • Kiel realises two of the bulls have disappeared.

  • In falcon form, Maaike is perched right over the bulls' camp. When she notices a pair are missing, she swoops low to find them.

  • Holding the vanguard's rear, Ionia and Raph spot two bulls approaching and warns the others.

  • Aiden assumes his clouded leopard form and circles the camp to help Maaike.

  • Jericho learns that the bulls are called Malaki. He sees images of a red wasteland and warns the others that the Malaki don't intend to go back.

  • Maaike-falcon distracts the Malaki so the group can hide. One of the Malaki aims at her, readying to throw his runka.

  • Kiel calls Shane back from the shadows near the Malaki camp. They prepare to leave.

  • Still held captive by Rusty, Nimisha attacks the Malaki with fire shaped like a half-sized Nymph.

  • Alain rejoins the group. He probes a Malaki mind and learns they have already encountered elemental resistance from the Nymphs they killed. He nicknames Nimisha's fire a Fury.

  • Four Malaki are heading in the vanguard's direction. The rest are dealing with the fire. One of them succumbs to it, dead.

  • Alain asks the vanguard to protect Nimisha. Ionia's idea of protection is to punch the Sidhe in the face.

  • The real fighting begins.

  • Aiden-leopard has circled the camp to help Maaike-falcon. He distracts the two Malaki chasing her. He is injured but kills one of his opponents.

  • Protecting Nimisha, Aella fends off a Malaki. Nimisha throws blazing sparks in its face. Aella kills it.

  • Unseen, Malaki are surrounding the vanguard.

  • Kiel throws himself bodily onto a Malaki and rides it like a cowboy. He is smashed repeatedly into a tree. Shane tears out the Malaki's throat, killing it.

  • Maaike-falcon struggles in the acrid smoke. She attacks one of Aiden's attackers with her talons while Alain cuts its hamstring and then kills it.

  • Another Malaki falls to Captain Lysistrata's blade.

  • The vanguard finds themselves surrounded by Malaki. One is yelling as if attempting to communicate.

  • Faris, having stayed to guard the ankas, flies over the battlefield. He drowns one of the Malaki in a bubble of water.

  • Jericho has learned that the Malaki have come through a portal and that there are more of them on the other side. They won't stop attacking and killing.

  • Ionia struggles with a Malaki. She manages to kill it, but not before it slaps her to the ground.

  • Aella uses Foehn, with help from Raph, to obliterate the ground around the Warlord. The Malaki himself remains standing, even when Ionia throws a knife at its neck.

  • Captain Lysistrata throws out orders for the group to form up back to back.

  • Fighting with several Malaki, Kiel yells for a shield. Faris obliges. He cuts the battlefield into smaller segments with water walls.

  • Cut off from their allies, Kiel and Shane fight off three Malaki. Jericho demands that the walls be made higher.

  • Aella is trapped with two Malaki. Their struggle shoots an axe-head through a water wall into another section of the maze.

  • Rusty and Ninian are getting thrashed by a female. Jericho uses Infliction to cripple her and two others in close proximity. Ninian and Rusty kill the unconscious female.

  • Maaike is smacked out of her falcon form. Konokay chases her into the tree-tops. She snatches his spear and heads for the water maze.

  • One of Aella's opponents is affected by Jericho's Infliction. Aella uses its distraction to thrust air like a spear in its back, knocking it into the path of the other Malaki's swinging axe.

  • The axe head scythes through the water wall and cuts the calf muscles of one of Kiel's attackers.

  • Aella is wounded by her final opponent. She seizes and pressurises the air around its head until its eardrums pop, then kills it.

  • Maaike throws herself out of the tree-tops, using the spear she snatched to break her fall and pierce a Malaki's spine. She and Kiel now face two bulls together.

  • Konokay takes Brave Garnak's spear and tests the water walls with it but spots Faris's anka overhead. He and Garnak head into the tree canopy, where the brave throws his spear at Faris.

  • Kiel has a broken nose. While Shane and Maaike distract their opponents, he pulls the stolen spear from its victim.

  • Faris loses concentration when his anka swerves to avoid Garnak's spear. The water walls fall. Tumbling off his mount, he spots a glint of light in the distance, then creates a water slide to break his fall.

  • Chapter One ended. However, the thread itself is still open if you would like to play it out to completion! There were eight Malaki remaining when we left off, but in the Chapter Two opener, the vanguard had whittled them down to four (including Garnak, the brave sent to Acantha in Chapter Two). Miraculously, of the vanguard only Anatoli Vitalis is dead.

Feel free to make new threads exploring the investigation prior to this point!

The events in Chapter Two are taking place over the course of two weeks beginning on Erimis 1 (1st July). This list is chronological so is not necessarily recorded in the order the posts were written.

  • The Malaki Warlord sends the last brave to alert his tribe to Elysia's existence. The rest of his war party buy time for Garnak and fight to the death.

  • The vanguard follow Garnak's trail north into Chandric and discover the portal.

  • After a brief argument and taking the time to use their healing potions, the vanguard decide they have no choice but to follow. Alain stays behind to update the League of Protectors and await the arrival of reinforcements.

In Jericho's first post, I mentioned he and Alain taking turns with the telepathy but David's computer broke and he mentioned Alain staying behind. I don't want to edit and throw people off, so I'm instead asking you to please disregard Jericho's mention of Alain.

  • Conditions on the other side of the portal force them to send the ankas back. They must follow Garnak on foot across a harsh and unfamiliar landscape.

  • Water must be rationed, slowing the group down.

  • Two days later, they have lost sight of the portal and cannot find their way home. Tracking Garnak has proven virtually impossible so they are now wandering aimlessly.

  • The landscape is almost completely barren, save for a few ominous (moving?) trees and a giant, dead beetle. The region apparently suffers from violent quakes.

  • Faris has found a source of water but worries it is not potable.

  • Maaike, Kiel and Captain Lysistrata fight over whether they should stay together or split up so the non-combatants can rest while the others scout the watering hole they think Faris has discovered.

  • Jericho, who has been using telepathy to search for signs of Garnak because the trail is too cold for Maaike and Aiden, sends Ninian with Maaike's group while he and the others shelter in the lee of a broken mountain.

  • Kiel leaves Shane in the shade with Jericho's group and goes with Maaike so their Chosen bond can serve as a two-way radio of sorts. They decant the remaining water into a couple of canteens and take the empties with them.

The thread splits here. Events in Shelter occur simultaenously so they are inserted here chronologically.

  • Faris mentions that spelunking may be involved but leads them to a rocky outcrop that overlooks a shallow basin where the ground is criss-crossed by foot-wide trenches. The area is surprisingly devoid of life considering that the troughs are full of water.

  • Beside one of the trenches is a patch of stained ground and a swathe of red mist that Faris tests for corrosiveness.

  • Rusty spots a moss-like plant creeping across the rock wall of their shelter. Jericho and Ionia tell him to leave it alone.

  • Aiden asks if others can smell iron. Maaike insists the scent is blood.

  • Faris follows one of the trenches as it steadily deepens to arm-length. He tests it with pebbles and loose rocks, finding a faint current.

  • Most of Jericho's group have fallen asleep. Shane wakes them up with a growl and they find themselves semi-cocooned by the crawling moss.

  • Rusty's head is covered in a fungal fibre that is slowly suffocating him.

  • Speculation about the red mist continues. Maaike waves a hand through it. Aiden encourages her to wash it off for fear of it being poisonous.

  • The group begin to refill the empty canteens.

  • Kiel is sucked into the one of the trenches underground, into a hole that rapidly fills with water and dirt.

  • Nimisha sets fire to the cocoon surrounding his legs.

  • Ionia loses a few feathers to her own cocoon. Raph cuts her free of the main body of the moss, but the fungal filaments are still steadily trying to swallow her.

  • Maaike, Aifric, Aiden and Faris attempt to dig him out. They manage to cut through a spongy layer that Faris realises is held together deliberately by some sort of fibre, but the ground within the trough is reacting to their efforts as if alive.

  • Rusty has stopped breathing. Freed, Ionia attempts to cut him out of the toxic cocoon, and Captain Lystrata hits it with a blast of light.

  • Chapter Two finished. However, the threads themselves are incomplete so we encourage you to play them out to the end! It is assumed that Kiel was dug out and the group able to refill their canteens enough to last them another few days with heavy rationing. Meanwhile, Rusty is cut free but has already succumbed to the neurotoxic secretions of the suffocating cocoon, leaving the others to burn and hack at the leech vine for their own freedom.

When Hel Melted Again
Set: Erimis 3 (3rd July)

  • Xanth argues with Danae. She is furious because she believes he has sent the Malaki to Elysia to test the boundaries of their deal. She is even more angry by the time he leaves.

A Goddess's Fury
Set: Erimis 3 (3rd July)

  • Tremors erupt across Elysia, starting small with Alexandria's portal at the epicentre, but growing exponentially more violent and widespread until they are felt across the whole of Elysia, Nirim and Zanarya. Lightning arcs from the Alexandrian portal, hot enough to sting but mild enough to be harmless. More dangerous are the buildings that are collapsing as a result of the quake.

Catching Up
Set: Erimis 3 to Thanatas 5 (3rd July to 5th August)

  • Alain and Clara Moreaux, along with Rahil'Taj ibn Murad and his retainers, suffered through the quake and have been attempting to locate the vanguard ever since reinforcements arrived in Chandric. So far they have had no luck but instead have butted heads with Malaki tribes a few times.

Feel free to fill in the gaps between Chapters Three and Four! The quake thread is open for everyone not interested in joining the plot itself.

The events in Chapter Three are taking place over the course of one day, beginning on Erimis 15 (15th of July). This list is chronological so is not necessarily recorded in the order the posts were written.

  • Rusty Faelan has died. The vanguard has taken the time to burn his body and plans to hold proper rites for him when they get home.

  • The vanguard has been able to keep track of the Malaki brave and have followed him out of the Badlands to a mud-spattered valley filled with strange, steaming holes. Green mountains are visible in the distance.

  • The Malaki brave's tracks zig-zag across the valley around the holes. Faris asks if the vanguard should follow them verbatim, but Kiel is already cutting across to make up time.

  • Faris notices agitated currents underground.

  • Ionia asks for the brave's direction and takes to the air to track him faster and scout ahead.

  • Allowing Misha and Ninian to guide his body, Jericho is spending all his time telepathically tracking Garnak. He learns that the wasteland is called "The Badlands". Faris calls them Mo'kferl Azo'hol, "Desolate Plains".

  • Jericho realises that Garnak is headed to a rocky structure that has deep meaning to the brave.

  • Wing Master Adras Tiana and her squadron are scouting Peace Valley where it fringes the Chinyelu jungle mountains. They are also looking for the brave and fear an attack.

  • Faris lets curiosity get the best of him and sticks his head in a hole.

  • On her scouting mission, Ionia narrowly avoids an explosion of scalding water and steam.

  • The ground begins to tremble as the vent beneath Faris' face fills up with pressure ready to burst. Kiel and Maaike tackle Faris and Aiden to the ground just as the geyser erupts.

  • Tiana's squadron spots Ionia. They split up to head north and east looking for the Malaki while Tiana and her rearguard try to capture Ionia alive for questioning. They have never seen a Skotadi before.

  • Riders Iosen Lysaedra and Ainetto Sylvea circle the vanguard. Curious, Lysaedra lands and dismounts to greet the group.

  • Safe from a steam clean thanks to Kiel, Faris picks himself out of the mud and attempts to introduce himself to Lysaedra.

  • Ionia dodges Tiana's attempt to ground her but is caught in the myst's claws. She turns her shadows into spikes but is electrocuted by colourful arcs for her trouble.

  • Tired of being used, Jericho grumbles but nevertheless translates what Lysaedra says.

  • Unable to carry two people, the dragon wobbles and releases Ionia. Tiana changes tactics, asking the Skotadi to land so they can meet properly.

  • While Jericho and Lysaedra are exchanging thoughts, Maaike spots and probes a second patch of red mist, calling Aiden over to ask what he thinks of it. He tells her not to touch it because it may be toxic, but she already has.

  • Ionia grumbles that she can't understand Tiana's request, but from the Mystrider's gesticulations gets the point and lands anyway.

  • Jericho has learned that Lysaedra is from a jungle village and that her people, the Mystriders of Chinyelu, are much friendlier than the Malaki. Lys is offering to escort them safely down the valley to meet her Wing Master.

  • Lysaedra spots Maaike touching the red mist and freaks out. She says Maaike is infected now and cannot go to her village after all.

  • Tiana tells Ionia she was heading into Mystrider airspace but the language barrier makes it impossible to understand her.

  • Chapter Three has ended. The vanguard met up with Tiana and Ionia. Lysaedra suggested they escort the group to the temple so someone they call "the sovereign" can provide Maaike with the cure, but they are interrupted by the arrival of another squadron from Tiana's village. Vynett is being attacked by Malaki raiders but they cannot evacuate as they normally would because several newly bonded youngsters are grounded. Lysaedra asks the vanguard for their help, having learned of their victory against the Malaki tribe in Chandric, and Tiana agrees to take Maaike and other potential infectees to the temple as payment. She also agrees to station a squadron at the portal to ferry any Elysians who follow the vanguard to and from Vynett, and to carry messages and reports.

  • Characters wishing to leave or (re)join the main group may now do so freely. Travelling between the portal and Vynett will take a maximum of one day, but requires two (or more for larger people) myst dragons carrying the character in a makeshift sling.

The events in Chapter Four: The Temple are taking place over the course of one week beginning on Erimis 16 (16th of July). This list is chronological so is not necessarily recorded in the order the posts were written.

  • After splitting from the rest of the vanguard, Maaike and other infectees are carried to a rocky structure the Mystriders call "the temple" to see their "sovereign", a man they claim is the only one capable of curing the sickness.

Named participants: Maaike, Jericho, Faris Nimisha, Ninian and Aifric. It is assumed that Aiden also went to the temple.

  • They have been kept waiting for two days but have studied the temple in the meantime. The sovereign is protected by harpies who live in nearby eyries, fierce bird-like women who don't need a translator to threaten.

  • Maaike has the hiccups.

  • Jericho and Misha have slept for the last two days but are woken by Maaike's complaints and squabble.

  • A harpy named Nerala comes to escort the group to the Mystriders' "sovereign", a man she calls "the Sun God".

  • The Sun God turns out to be Danae. Having listened to their story, he gloats and asks what they want from him.

  • Faris realises he can understand Danae perfectly, without need for a translator.

  • Faris attempts to ever-so-carefully request the cure.

  • Jericho, bypassing Faris' manners, attempts to read Danae's mind but is bounced right back out.

  • Danae allows them a glimpse of his true power. He pointedly mentions that Garnak, the Malaki brave they were following, has been and gone to the temple, also seeking the cure. He wants them to beg for it.

  • An Acanthan human named Mikel staggers into the room, bleeding from every orifice. He cries that he has failed his lord, but collapses mid-explanation and begs for Danae to save him.

  • Maaike's symptoms now include a sore throat and itchy skin. She notes that Mikel is covered in sweat and vomit stains in addition to the blood and a rash.

  • Faris fears Mikel's state is a result of Danae's wrath, but realises the sickness is contagious and lethal. He asks again for the cure.

  • Danae relishes their fear and torments them, using Mikel to outline their doom, and Mikel's failure to show that he is merciless.

  • When the dying human gets blood on Danae's boot, a harpy jumps in to clean it with her own wing, knowingly dooming herself to the same fate.

  • Faris is convinced Danae is immune — or stark raving mad for blithely touching a contagious man without fear of consequence.

  • He claims they are already dead, unless they do something for him.

  • Mikel dies horribly. His body disintegrates into a cloud of red mist, proving once and for all that this really is the same thing the group encountered in the Badlands.

  • Maaike agrees without hesitation to do whatever Danae wants.

  • Danae explains that he wants an Ohani egg. He gives them a skyboat to make the journey go faster.

  • Faris scratches his arm and asks for more information.

  • Chapter Four has ended. Danae told them how to reach Neluna, the water moon where the Ohani live, and sent them on their way. The skyboat, flown by a crew of harpy on loan from the temple, took them to Vynett where they picked up the other half of the old vanguard and several new additions. Three days later, they have crossed hundreds of miles of alien ocean to see an Ohani city on the horizon.

  • Mystriders are still patrolling the Badlands, so anyone wishing to catch up to the main party may do so. It takes two mysts to carry one person in a sling between them.

The events in Chapter Four: The Temple are taking place over the course of one week beginning on Erimis 16 (16th of July). This list is chronological so is not necessarily recorded in the order the posts were written.

  • The vanguard have spent the last two days helping the Mystriders fend off Malaki raiders.

Named participants: Kiel, Ionia, Zephyr, Alain, Clara, Shane, Raphael, Diana, Derina, Elias and Captain Lysistrata. It is assumed that Aella also went to Vynett.

  • Kiel is taking a well-earned break to eat under the watchful eye of some village children and their hatchlings. He suspects they share a bond with the mysts like the Chosen bond he shares with Shane.

  • Kiel is showing signs of fatigue, but assumes it's because of the fight.

  • Goluk and Kitik stop to snack on giant grubs then send their reaver packs ahead to attack the Mystrider village.

  • Hearing the roars, the kids giggling at Kiel disappear into the foliage as the jungle's wildlife scatters. On another platform, Ionia and Raphael help another set of kids into the trees.

  • Zephyr and his party arrive, and he immediately looks for Kiel. Hearing the roar, they prepare for battle.

  • Kiel races to greet the new arrivals, hoping the mystriders brought Elysians with them, and sure enough spots Zephyr. Cue touching reunion.

  • Ionia and Raph join the perimeter defence.

  • The Malaki attack. Chaos ensues.

  • The battle thread got quite difficult to follow so I'll just summarise the outcome here: Zephyr was perceived as the biggest threat and most worthwhile opponent, so the Malaki focused on him. He was quickly pinned with a reaver's jaws wrapped around his thigh, and used a freeze bomb that put them both under a block of ice. In an attempt to rescue him, Kiel threw himself and a Malaki off the platform and landed fifty feet down (after bouncing off a few walkways on the way down). The tide of battle turned when Alain's group arrived (including his wife, Clara), but the fighters took some hard hits. Zephyr was gravely wounded and Captain Olympias Lysistrata was killed.

  • Chapter Four has ended. The temple group arrived on their skyboat in time to help finish off the Malaki raiders. En route to Neluna, those badly wounded were doused with potions, but supplies are limited so they kept some in reserve "just in case". As a result, Kiel's left arm is in a sling and Zephyr is struggling to walk.

  • Mystriders are still patrolling the Badlands, so anyone wishing to catch up to the main party may do so. It takes two mysts to carry one person in a sling between them.

The events in Chapter Five: Visiting the Ohani took place over the course of five hours beginning on Erimis 19 (19th of July). This list is chronological so is not necessarily recorded in the order the posts were written.

  • The skyboat arrives at an Ohani city three days after leaving Vynett. Danae wants Ohani eggs.

  • An argument ensues over whether to try diplomacy or just attempt to steal the eggs.

  • The group are greeted on the docking platform by Ambassador Serin and four guards.

  • Faris sticks his hand in the sea to test the water. He has been hiding a growing rash on his arm.

  • Rahil's attendants scorn the Elysians' way of doing things. Rahil follows Faris and attempts to strike up a beneficial conversation.

  • Maaike's symptoms have escalated. She now has a severe headache, very sore throat, breathlessness, fatigue and nose bleeds.

  • Maaike tries to hide her symptoms from the Ohani. She warns Faris not to get too close to the edge of the dock for fear of what lurks in the depths.

  • Jericho translates once again and greets the Ohani.

  • Rahil has backed Faris into a corner, who must now introduce himself by his real name. In the meantime, he has concluded that Neluna's water is not potable but easily purified if need be.

  • Kiel, Zephyr and Aifric marvel over the scope of the city. Kiel spots what might be a large fish in the distance, but it has disappeared underwater before he can show anyone.

  • Jericho looks to the others for cues on what to say. Faris suggests they trick the Ohani into thinking they are here for diplomatic purposes while someone looks for the eggs. Kiel suggests they just be straight with the Ohani and ask for the eggs. Rahil believes honesty will be a waste of time.

  • In his arrogance, Jericho considers their suggestions worthless and instead pretends to be a merchant looking for something else entirely.

  • Serin agrees to take them to the city's burser to trade, but sees through Jericho's lies when she spots Maaike.

  • Maaike realises something is off when Serin denies them queen eggs. Another argument ensues over whether or not Danae specified queen.

  • Maaike demands that Jericho tell the truth. Instead, he tries to pass off her symptoms as allergies, then acts like he barely knows her. He insists they are only here for trade.

  • Unfooled and curious how they came by a skyboat given to Danae as an offering, Serin decides the situation is above her pay grade and tells them to follow her. Most of the group stay with the skyboat, but a few go with her to see one of the queen's attendants.

Named participants: Maaike, Jericho, Nimisha, Aifric and Ninian.

  • Not knowing that Jericho has mistranslated, Maaike is surprised that the Ohani aren't keeping their distance. They don't seem to fear the sickness. She wonders if they are immune and if that's why Danae wants the eggs.

  • During an elevator ride to the penultimate floor, they discuss options in case this is a trap.

  • They are introduced to Attendant Ilei. Serin explains that, despite what Jericho has said, she believes they want eggs. Ilei demands the truth.

  • Chapter Five has ended. Before they could explain, honestly or otherwise, why they were in Neluna, an alarm goes off. Ilei tells them "Chaiku attacks" and that it will eat the Ohani young, sending them back to their boat. Soldiers respond in numbers while civilians go back to their quarters. The Elysians get back to the dock to find a tidal wave has ripped across the platform and that many people — Ohani and otherwise — are in the water.

  • Mystriders are still patrolling the Badlands, so anyone wishing to catch up to the main party may do so. It takes two mysts to carry one person in a sling between them.

The events in Chapter Five: Exploring the City took place over the course of five hours beginning on Erimis 19 (19th of July). This list is chronological so is not necessarily recorded in the order the posts were written.

  • While Maaike, Jericho and the others go to meet Attendant Ilei, the rest of the group stays with the skyboat.

  • Kiel and Rahil wander off a ways, past the guards, to explore. Kiel spots several things in the ocean that could be either cloud shadows or aquatic monsters.

  • An Ohani named Yacobi comes up to them and changes pigments on his belly to show them a mural of something they eventually realise is a warning.

  • Chapter Five has ended. Before Yacobi can fully communicate the danger, a great beast cuts through the water off "shore" and creates an eight-foot tidal wave that crashes across the dock, sweeping bodies into the open sea.

  • Mystriders are still patrolling the Badlands, so anyone wishing to catch up to the main party may do so. It takes two mysts to carry one person in a sling between them.

The events in Chapter Six: Acquiring the Eggs took place over the course of the same five hours as Chapter Five, beginning on Erimis 19 (19th of July). This list is chronological so is not necessarily recorded in the order the posts were written.

  • Ilei has explained that the Ohani do not trust Danae, so even if queen eggs were not incredibly precious, they likely wouldn't just give up their young. (It is assumed the skyboat they gave to him as an offering was in fact in place of the egg he requested, in order to appease him over their refusal.) She also mentions that Garnak (the Malaki brave they were following) attempted to steal eggs when he was refused, and was killed for his trouble.

  • The sirens have set the city's soldiers in motion, and the group are escorted back to the dock with just two guards.

  • On the dock, Yacobi's warning comes too late. Several of the group are swept out to sea, including Kiel and Faris.

  • Kiel is helped out by an Ohani, who promptly seems to panic and attempt to get Kiel to flee, suggesting that something worse is coming.

  • Faris, being pulled out to open sea by the wave, nudges the water to help a drowning harpy find something to cling to.

  • Having assumed that the "Chaiku" Ilei spoke of was a person or a monster, Jericho sets foot off the elevator into inches of water and reassesses. He now assumes that "Chaiku" means "tsunami", even though the impression he got from Ilei's mind was of a great beast. He abandons his idea to follow "Chaiku" to the nursery pools.

  • Maaike rushes forward, despite her fatigue, to help the harpy Faris was trying to rescue. The harpy snatches her wing from Maaike's grasp in horror.

  • Maaike catches a glimpse of something moving in the depths. Two people suddenly disappear underwater, and she suggests "Chaiku" may not just be a tidal wave, after all.

  • Argyris surmises that if the eggs can be eaten by Chaiku, they must be accessible. She suggests they try to snatch some while the Ohani are busy. At her behest, the group splits up to look.

  • Jericho sends Ninian with the search party but goes back to the skyboat.

  • Maaike asks if the boat has weapons or defences that could be used to help the Ohani fend off the Chaiku. She suddenly starts coughing up blood.

  • Jericho learns that the skyboat acts like a knife in the water, but wouldn't really be much use defending the city.

  • Told by Aifric that he's pretty much useless in this fight, Kiel trots off to help Argyris' team find the eggs.

  • Faris narrowly avoids getting swallowed and uses his water manipulation to make back to the dock.

  • Aiden helps Maaike to the boat.

  • Raphael, Alain and Clara fish Faris and Rahil out of the water.

  • Chapter Six has ended. Please read the Epilogue to find out how the Arc finished.
