The Awesomest Raffle of d00m Everer
It's EF's 6th birthday on the 8th of August! To celebrate, I'm giving you the chance to win a bunch of awesome prizes for the low price of a raffle ticket (or a dozen)! Prizes will be drawn randomly using random.org.
This raffle is purely out of character so characters will know nothing about it. You get to decide how they acquired your prize IC. Tickets cost ζ5. You can buy as many as you like from whichever characters you like, but you can only claim one prize per member, with a choice of which character you give it to.
To buy tickets, post the number you want and then send the cash to the bank. Good luck!
PRIZES
- THUNDERBIRD
Similar to the wedge-tailed eagle, this bird of prey has a wingspan of nine feet and is the colour of clouds in a thunderstorm. It is one-of-a-kind and comes from Xanth's Menagerie, so it will bond fully with its owner as a hunting companion. Every flap of its wings creates a crack of thunder. When it dives straight down for more than 600 feet, it brings with it a bolt of lightning.
- DRAGON FLUTE
A two-foot ravenwood flute, this instrument once belonged to a Sidhe musician named Amereus, who became infamous for entrancing audiences into a drooling stupor while his companions robbed them blind. Any music played on the Dragon Flute can hypnotise up to ten people for up two minutes.
- HELBLADE
This legendary scimitar belonged to the first Arkigo, who with it won many battles against the Skotadi. It is made of steel but has gold filigree twined around the hilt and engravings along the blade that glow with the power of Elysia's sun. When unsheathed, the blade is white-hot.
- STARBIRD
Similar to a stork, the starbird is pure white with a slender head, a wingspan of four feet, and tail feathers some six feet long. One of only two in existence, it comes from Xanth's Menagerie so will bond fully with its owner. Sparks trail the bird like tiny stars.
- Ismelda's Secrets
A diary written by the wife of one of the Thirteen Consuls of Alexandria, this book contains a number of political secrets (some of them true and others not) about Alexandrian politics that would prove very useful in the right (or wrong) hands.
