After that you may put it back with credit. If you put it back and are still breaking this rule, we'll take further action.
Thank you,
Xanth
P.S. The appropriate way of giving credit is to link to the site where you got the image as well as writing the full name of the artist or the website where you found it.

Keep in mind for armour that Shapeshifters can still only wear garments made of natural fibers, since non-biological matter cannot be morphed. Well, I suppose you could wear manmade fibers if you have a large trust fund to waste on buying a new wardrobe frequently...
I would also advise that any weapons you buy are weapons you can carry in both your animal and human forms.

I'm giving the NPC account temporary access to post in the public library so you put the threads there. That way we can move them to the appropriate places or leave them there, depending on whether or not we think they're active enough to be moved to posting areas.
Your help is greatly appreciated but you're under no obligation to do it. There's no payment for this part (enough of you were, ah, suggesting that $1 per post was going overboard ) and you won't earn any post count to help you level up.
Thank you very much. ^^

You can still read the archives at z14, but no more posting allowed. It's all here from now on. Woot!

1. Don't get too graphic.
Most of you already know this, so consider it a note rather than a rule. Kisses, ie. peck on the cheek, "kissed him on the mouth" is fine. What we've had so far, I think, is okay but no further. If we get any kind of complaints, though, we will ask you to tone it down unless we consider those complaints to be completely unfounded.
2. Many of Elysia's species are meant to mate for life.
Dragons and Demons, in particular. It has been suggested that this only applies to inter-species relationships and not cross-species, and I'm willing to accept this, but certain of the species were always meant to be devoted partners. I realise, though, I haven't exactly put this info in the species information posts, so I figured it was about time I did.
There are certain species who don't mate for life. Humans and Vampires, for example. Angels could go either way - you get angels who are laid back and very footloose, but then you get angels who, once they've met 'the one' never see another man/woman again. Shapeshifters depend very much on their base form - wolves, for instance, mate for life; many birds do; domestic cats tend not to, lions have many lionesses in their prides, etc. If in doubt, contact your governor or me.
3. There is an adult board, partly intended for the more graphic roleplaying. If you're considered an adult in your country (18 in the UK, 21 in most American states, etc), contact me about access. Even if you do post there, it's advisable to put a rating on your thread so people don't wander in by accident if you've posted something they don't want to see.
Thanks for reading, and at some point this will be going in the Newcomer Guide.

It would appear that there are many historical treasures in this room and scholars are even now studying the ledgers and scrolls found there. However, of immediate note was a book detailing the history of the war between the Angel factions.
This book also fills in many gaps the Angels had forgotten. Of course, I had not, though I had deemed it necessary for them to rediscover their own past. I do learn from my mistakes, after all.
There will be a feast at the palace for Angels wishing to celebrate this discovery, but the reason for this announcement is to inform all of Elysia of an important fact.
The term 'Angel' is the common name for this winged species, and not the proper name; as are the terms 'dark' and 'white' angel for the factions at war. The proper terms are Anyelos (plural, Anyeli being the singular and feminine, and Anyelo the masculine); Skotadi (Dark Angel) and Apalos (White Angel).
I have no doubt you have many questions. Please refrain from asking them for the time being, thank you. ^^
Side note. Choosing factions does not determine the type of powers an Ayelo has. That comes at level 4 when you choose which path - warrior or 'peacekeeper' - to take. There appears to have been some confusion about this.
In other news, the Anyelos Level information has been updated as well. ^^

Remember, you can only challenge if you're the same level or higher than your leader, and your current leader hasn't been challenged for a month. If you're not sure about anything, PM me, Kiril, or Xanth's secretary!
Okay, I'm off before Xanth get's on my neck for posting on her board. Geeze you wouldn't think a deity would be so narky! Let's see some action people! (and Others).
Love and kisses,
Sylope X

I apologise profusely, since it was me that started the trend, but I do ask that everyone check the copyright for the images used in your sets.

If you *do* post in the wrong account, don't fret, just make the post in the right account and report the wrong one for deletion with a note in it to say "please delete" so mods know which post to delete. If someone's posted before you get a chance to correct the mistake, don't worry, just put a note in your post to say it is the wrong account.
I'm working on a new skin to try and prevent this kind of thing, you'll be able to have one account set to purple and another set to black, and eventually we'll have plenty of skins to choose from.

I'm therefore going to ask that you try and limit how many threads you're in at once. If you can consistently be in several places then that's fine - example, you can leave Central Park and get mixed up in the rp in the alley on your way to Coney Island - but it's not really fair on other characters if you're in a dozen places all at once.
Markets aren't so tough, because you really need to be in your shop at all times as well as being elsewhere, but I'd suggest being in no more than three threads at once, and only one per area (an area being a subforum, such as The Fae Forest or).
Thank you.

If I (Piper) have made you a profile using furiae art, you need to tell me so I can take appropriate action.

Now, this does not mean that characters given this rank have done anything wrong, just that we feel they need more experience.

Does this mean that current house-owners have to pay the difference between the old and new prices, or is this increase only for new house-owners?
It's a firm increase btw, the prices of flats for instance have gone up about 600% :oh:

The reason for the increase (beyond tax inflation) is that the whole idea of levels and levelling up is to provide a challenge, and interest. If characters can afford level 10 housing at level 5, then it can undermine the specialness of that level of housing for level 10 people.
I am not speaking of combining levels with a partner for shared housing, but that most higher-level characters could afford level 10 mansions without help. We have had a lot of complaints that EF is not interesting enough. Perhaps this will help. ^^
