First Impressions: Like most Therians of the wilderness, Raieon wears almost little to no clothing, sticking with simply fur skins tapered to look and act similar to loincloith, a pair of leather sandals and bracers, and a leather harness to keep his weapons close. His fang-shaped shortblades are in plain sight, and like Raieon's expression, can be a little unnerving to most strangers.

Distinguishing Features: Raieon had his "Coming-Of-Age" ceremony earlier than the rest by about a year. Gaining the respect of the Raeus Shaman through prowess, she then gave Raieon his Raeus mark, a tattoo he chose to be on his right shoulder. His tattoo, unlike the rest of the tribe, was completed in darker crimson by mistake. Another distinguishing trait is how his eyes themselves are bloody crimson in the glow of firelight.

A young Therian of 17, Raieon passed his "Coming-Of-Age" Ceremony, and being officially anointed with the mark of the Wolf on his right shoulder, a tattoo by the Shaman done in dark crimson. Raieon has olive-tanned skin, dark ruffled hair, and his eyes are a deep reddish brown. Like most wild Therians, he has a slight athletic build, his legs being slightly more built than his arms. He is a tiny bit lighter than he looks, and he stands at 5'7" Ft tall.



Raieon wasn't always as cold and distantly placed from others as he is now. He was, like all others, a child once. Like most Therian children, Raieon enjoyed his childhood in both Human and Animal form, wandering the forest that surrounded the camp on all sides. Experiencing life from the eyes of a Windfur, Raieon took most of his joy from being so small and, perhaps, adorable. Raieon was cheerful and playful with the other children, and would have fun outside of the camp, rather than inside.

However, when his parents were killed by poachers that tried to catch Raieon (as, mistaking him for the real deal), Raieon grew embittered and cold at heart, but not heartless. He moved on through a brief "mourning" period, where he poured his sadness and pain out into tears. When it was over, Raieon's heart was empty of not only sadness, but happiness too. No longer did he have the spirit of a child taking joy from the wilderness and nature around him, but only a fierce determination.

Born on the 5th of Menenas, 9994 XA, Romulus was named after the first Chieftan of the Raeus Clan. Romulus grew up in the camp of the Raeus Clan, and the forest around it. The areas was all he'd ever known, both as a child and an animal. Choosing the Windfur for its agility and, in a sense, freedom in a big world, Romulus learned to morph at the age of 7, and spent as much time as he could possibly before returning to human form enjoying the life outside as an animal.

Romulus loved his family, and still held them close. The closest one was his mother, Ashelia Raeus. On the other hand, Romulus' father, Remus Raeus, was away for weeks on end participating in 'The Hunt' to scour the poachers around. But Romulus still loved his father, and cherished family moments dearly. Being around his paternal grandparents and listening to their stories was perhaps, to him, the most amazing of moments.

Three years after, his grandmother passed away peacefully. Feeling sad at heart, Romulus asked his grandfather why he didn't look sad. His grandfather answered him by explaining that it was just part of Nature's cycle, and to display sadness was pointless. He explained that in the end, they all return to the earth they came from. But Romulus never understood.
And towards that end, birthed his hatred.

When Romulus was only 12 years old, he and his parents ventured off into the woods in animal form. They walked together, listening to Nature's forest and hearing all around them. But soon after, Romulus wandered off. Mistaken for a real Windfur, Romulus was caught by Poachers. Fearful and frightened, Romulus changed back and cried out to his parents. Whilst the poachers looked at the Therian child in shock, Romulus' parents came and attacked the Poachers whilst Romulus ran back to camp.

But when the Therian Hunters who went out to find them returned, they brought only sorrowful news. Romulus refused to believe it and ran out to where he last saw his parents. Only to find their still human corpses laying beside each other.

Despite what his grandfather taught him, about how they all returned to the earth in the end, Romulus mourned over their still bodies for a long time, howling into the night. He cried about how it wasn't fair, how it was too soon. He wanted them back.

In the end, Romulus returned to the camp after a last said prayer in his heart, and came back a changed Therian. He came back known, as Raieon Raeus.

His grandfather took Raieon under his wing out of a sense of duty to Remus, from there on in teaching Raieon ways of Combat and more importantly, Morphing. This tutelage was due to both Arcturus' sense of duty, and Raieon's will and determination to learn. Over the next five years, Raieon learned to finally managed to transform into a Windfur almost indistinguishable from the real one, and eventually learned to shapeshift into a small Khazhelo, although with few minor mistakes. Apart from getting out into the forest to learn more about the wildlife, his grandfather helped him learn various techniques with practice shortblades, and a few disciplines when it came to learning combat and morphing, such as patience and balance being virtue.

When he was 16 years old, Raieon left the camp with his Grandfather's permission to a den of wolves that was known to the Raeus Clan. Knowing how symbolic they were to the clan, Raieon spent time amongst the wolves, gaining their hard-earned trust and drew closer to them in observing distance. They began to hunt together, live together and sleep together in the den. Raieon used the skills he learned earlier on, such as using dead twigs and leaves as base and tinder to make a small campfire to cook his cut of the prey.

When Raieon returned, a month later, he spent those following months with his grandfather, proving his disciplines and skills. Arcturus was impressed, and using his respect of the Chief, Arcturus managed to convince the Shaman and the Chief to allow Raieon his ceremony a year earlier.

The time came and Raieon stood before most of the Clan, beside Therians he knew from childhood. The "Coming-Of-Age" Ceremony, or simply known as, The Proving, was very straightforward. It was tradition that all members of the Raeus Clan should be able to shapeshift into their symbolic form, the Wolf, and so was the goal of The Proving. If the Adolescents were able to shapeshift into a Wolf form without any major flaws or too many minor mistakes, they would be regarded as "Proven" and then would be anointed with the Raeus Mark.

When it came Raieon's turn, all was silent. The only Therian who was allowed his Proving a year earlier than the rest. And he succeeded.

With a triumphant howl, most of the clan cheered him on like the others who were successful. With the blessing of the Chief, Raieon changed back into a Human and had his mark tattooed on his right shoulder, the symbols inscribed meaning, "Vigilance".

Now free as a Proven Therian, Raieon prepares for "The Hunt", just like his father did long ago. But the other Therians whom he had played with in Childhood long ago whisper and murmur as they look upon him in spite. Regardless, Raieon is determined to make any Poachers pay for what they are.

9994 XA Romulus was born.
10001 XA Romulus began morphing at the age of 7. His first form was the Windfur.
10004 XA Meleda Raeus, Romulus' paternal grandmother, passes away peacefully.
10006 XA Remus and Ashelia Raeus, Romulus' parents, are killed by poachers whilst rescuing Romulus. After a brief mourning period, Romulus comes under the wing of Arcturus Raeus, his paternal grandfather and soon-to-be mentor. Romulus changes his name to Raieon.
10006 - 10011 XA Raieon takes on a new resolve and learns much from his grandfather. Learning the way of Morphing, as well as the ways of Combat, Raieon continues to dream of the day he takes down the poachers who killed his parents.
10011 XA Raieon passes his "Coming-Of-Age" ceremony.

PRESENT DAY Raieon prepares to join "The Hunt" and to take down various bands of Poachers.

Description: When he Morphed into a Windfur during his childhood, he looked like any other Windfur except for a few understandable mistakes and the fact that his hair colour was dark. Sometimes, his eyes would remain reddish brown and his fur would have a slight dark tint. Present day, he's gotten better at this small form, and apart from his shoulder tattoo which is too small to identify by average eyes perfectly, he looks like any other Windfur.

Description: Raieon still has to get this form almost completely identical to an ordinary Khazhelo, but otherwise he's adapted to it enough to look like one in base. As with his other forms, his tattoo appears on the right-shoulder equivalent, and he seldom slips up on changing his eye colour completely.

Description: Raieon's tattoo is visible on the right shoulder when in this form. Apart from that, his eyes sometimes remain reddish brown in Wolf form, but for the most part, Raieon's personality carries into his Wolf being almost perfectly well.

Item: Twin Shortblades "Raiel / Raiul"
Description: Twin Blades forged from base steel and slightly curved. The hilt and handle is ornate oak, the bottom carved in the shape of a wolf's head. The design in general makes for swifter cuts and slashing, whilst the ethnicity of the design keeps a slightly balanced point so as to not reduce stabbing or dueling efficiency. They were a gift to Raieon from his father, through his grandfather.

COMBAT GEAR
Item: Leather Harness
Description: Raieon wears this wherever he goes, save sleeping. They hold two sheathes crossing over on his back in an X-Shape. The sheathes are made so that the blades can be equipped in either orientation, pointing up or down. The harness is designed so that if Raieon has to get out of it real quick for whatever reason such as being stuck (and given he has something sharp enough), he can cut the two leather straps that hold the harness to him.

Description: Along with his harness, Raieon always ways his leather bracers as well. For the most part, he's not too bothered to take them off and put them on again repeatedly. The bracers make themselves useful in deadening force.

Item: Fur-Tapered Loincloth
Description: Simply a bunch of furs tapered and sown together to act like simply loincloth. For the most part, it makes it less 'burdensome' when it comes to shapeshifting.

Item: Leather Sandals
Description: Mere sandals made of plain leather. Like the Fur-Tapered Loincloth, they don't serve too much of an important purpose for Raieon to care about them too much.
