Starting Location: Alexandria
Destination: Vynett, Acantha
Description: Jericho needs bodyguards to escort him to Vynett where he plans to set up the first trade route between Mystriders and Elysians. He has use of The Vanguard but still expects the journey to be dangerous, and depending on how things work out in Chinyelu may decide to go on to another village or two.
Objectives:
- Keep Jericho alive and well throughout his journey.
- Protect his cargo.
Reward:
- ζ150 (ζ200 if thread is finished)
- +1 fame for successfully completing mission and returning to Corantha intact
- A permanent job as his enforcer if mutually agreed
Notes:
Jericho is used to having two enforcers to watch his back in his daily routine, but Rusty died and he's feeling a bit vulnerable. He's also very much aware of how dangerous Acantha is, so he's hiring half a dozen mercenaries to protect him and his cargo. (Whichever spots aren't taken by PCs will just be filled by NPCs instead.) If the mission is successful and Jeri gets along with your character, he might ask them to sign on permanently as his enforcer, which will mean helping him with his loan shark business (though he's focused more on mercantile opportunities in Acantha right now).
