[Remy]

Hey guys! Want to plot something with meeeeeeee? I don't care if it's a short-term plot or a long-term plot, or even just a thread! I just want to throw my charries back into the board. My 'actives' are Remy(charmer vampire), Aiden (therian), or Nia (skotadi), but I'm totally fine with playing my 'retired' characters too if there's something interesting for them. Ideas are welcome!

Also if you have a plot for your characters and need some extra players, let me know!

Remy would be down for any random encounter or something vampire-related. She lives in Espur, which is still recovering from the Xanthian earthquake so we might be able to work with that, too. Long-term plot-wise...Remy is really tied-down to the Ruby Claw so if some strife were to befall her group, there would be interesting times for her. Muahahah.

Nia has recovered from her trip to Acantha and is back in business! You'll see her at her Apothecary, out on a hunt, or perhaps on a scouting mission for the League of Adventurers. Some Elysians out there may be mad for her participation in the Acanthan Vanguard, so there may be cause for trouble there too. Ummmm not everything in her apothecary is legal so she may have trouble with the law. In previous posts I have hinted about Nia and her thief-turned-herbalist nymph-friend having disagreements with some therian/nymph gang, but that idea hasn't been fully fleshed out yet.

Aiden is on the run from the law, so he's pretty much bounty hunter bait! Espur and New Alexandria are off limits to Aiden for now. But depending on the timing of the thread, he could either be near the outskirts of Espur, or in the Fae Forest. Long story short, he's been framed for something he didn't do and is on the run. One of the New Alexandrian magistrates is actually corrupt and pulling the strings behind Aiden and Maaike's bounty postings, so Aiden is looking for any kind of evidence to use against the magistrate. He's looking into the therian slave trade and anything that is Elysian-black-market-y.

Elise (human) and Kiril (ifrit) are actually 'retired', but they're still in Elysia! Years ago, Elise worked for some scientists in Earth by shuttling Elysian stuff, animals, and Elysians to Earth for research. Pretty bad stuff. She quit doing that after a certain incident, and went into hiding. Now she works in a dress design boutique, is happily married, and Elysians are none the wiser. Kiril lives mostly in Zanarya and runs a big beachside hotel in Keikis. He teleports to Elysia when he gets bored.

One word: Zozeko. Two words if the Artega gets involved somehow. They managed to limp to Espur but are in need of ship building supplies. Except they can't afford them, so maybe Remy's people could have a job for them (that hopefully won't rely on them coming out the other side of a ship-to-ship fight). Maybe Remy is sent someplace that requires passage on a ship; if their hotel was damaged, maybe the RC is after its own supplies? They could head to the Despina quarries for stones, for instance. Or you could join Hobbled. Maybe Remy can help Zeko get what he needs, or put him in touch with someone who can?

If Calcia is in Alexshire, Kiel could be sent out on patrol (he's currently on loan from the LoP to the city guard). With the quake causing so much chaos, particularly in the cities where buildings and infrastructure were fairly badly damaged, there'll be ton of of opportunities for bandits and other crooks to make nuisances of themselves. Kiel might be accompanying a Red Warden on his rounds, or just to 'show the flag' to say the council still has a grip on the city. He and his partner (maybe Alvanon if Dave is interested) might pop in to check on things and realise the goods she sells aren't all above board. (Calcia might be far enough out of the city to get away with blackmarket stuff usually, but Kiel would be torn then between doing his job as he's been instructed and letting her slide because (he thinks) they're friends...

I'd also like to volunteer Maaike for any thread with Aiden in it. Because I'm an Aiden hog. So sue me.

Piper for one would love to get her hands on her best friend. Or, since Elise is in Espur, I volunteer Zeko too. I just don't have any real ideas for them. Maybe all their clothes got destroyed in the tsunami too...

If you're interested, check out the thread I've been playing between Daz and Xanth; it'll lead to Xanth making more of an appearance to try and counter the wash of faithless trotting over to Danae's side. The Aides could help with that too, stop working from the shadows like Daz has been (because that's just her nature, and Xanth wanted to draw away and give Elysians more freedom) and start being their dramatic selves again. Maybe not quite as dramatic and in-your-face demigod as they were once were, but enough to make people start to believe in Xanth again.

Now more than ever, as well, I think a more solid connection between Zanarya and Elysia would help fend off Danae's advances so Kiril could be working as an unofficial sort-of ambassador for that. (David has an arc for Rahil whereby he's trying to close the Zanaryan portal. Xanth's more or less aware of it, but is more concerned with Danae and the Acanthans so she won't be doing anything to stop him for the time being. Kiril can then be completely unaware of Rahil's ambitions, or if you want to talk to David, maybe even wind up actively countering Rahil's movements.)

So Aiden's in that "Gotcha!" thread for sure.

I'd like a thread where Nia meets the Wardens. The apothecary has been operating outside the law for a while so it's about time for it to attract trouble. The quake in the city would have destroyed the stocks in the city's stores, so perhaps more people have to go to Calcia to get their supplies. Nia usually keeps a tight lid on her darker dealings but I guess word travels around.

Remy! She can meet with 'Zeko. I'm actually planning to draft a response to "Hobbled". Also wouldn't mind a thread of 'Zeko with Elise (sailors with lost clothes...yum ). She'd love to catch up with her bestie too!

Agreed, Kiril would not like what Rahil's doing at all—not after all the hard work he put into making Zanarya more open to non-Zanaryans! I'm thinking the whole Acantha chaos would have drawn Kiril out of his retirement place in Zanarya too. Also he's a lot less of a behind-the-scenes person than Daz so it would be fun to watch Kiril drag her out of her shadows and having her complain to him about it.

Alistair would play with one if you like his family live in Espur, so he could meet Remy if you like, and his heart would absolutely melt for her! He loves children. But whatever you like. He might make Remy angry haha.
