Kashii had been wandering the market, terrorizing the passerby's as she went. Each new figure was a smell she'd not experienced before, and some with scents from other animals. She'd happened upon a few more vending carts, but news of the hot dogs spread quickly after her second attack on them. Now every time she passed by one, people were shooing her away with their feet, and rather rudely. In all honestly, it was starting to aggravate her. If she were just a normal dog, yes, this might be acceptable, but she was a wolf. The only thing preventing these people from becoming her next meal, was the fact that she barely had teeth enough to pierce their skin. Oh she could bite them, and it would hurt. But there wasn't much more beyond that she could do.

Lowering her head to the ground, growling at anyone and everyone either brave or stupid enough to come near her, Kashii moved forward, her small paws padding along. She wasn't as small as she used to be. Half way between a innocent pup, and a full grown adult. Because of her heritage however, she looked damn near full grown. She was a big puppy. Much larger than her brother Comet. It wouldn't be long before she was doing real damage. If Wolf couldn't control her... which, he couldn't, nor did he care to, Kashii would continue to run a muck, treating others like her prey, attacking anyone and everyone who rubbed her the wrong way. And it didn't take much to do that.

Finding her path cut off sharply by a pair of feet, Kashii didn't care who it was, nor did she care about the familiar scent that followed. Growling deeply, she lunged forward, her teeth aiming to clamp onto the Aide's ankle. Her jaw ready to lock once her teeth broke flesh, she would hold on, and tug until she brought him to the ground so she could do the same to his throat.

Not many people would be as calm as those on Market Street were if two large cats walked down it. It could be said that most, would probably pass out when finding that the two animals were, in fact, speaking to one another. Not in animal growls and yowls, but in human voices. The large black panther yawned, almost as if it were bored with the conversation, it's black coat gleaming in the sunlight. Meanwhile, a tan cougar chatted, apparently on a gossiping spree. "You know, people have been disappearing as of late. Some say there's a serial killer on the loose." The cougar said in a high pitched feminine tone. The panther glanced at her suspiciously, "Oh come on, you can't believe everything you hear. I'm sure that the missing people are perfectly alive and well, just on vacation." Her voice was calm and cool. The way she held herself, it was evident that she was the more aggressive of the two. Breaking out into a run, the panther headed toward the portal. "Come on! I'll race you to the portal," she called over her shoulder. Nodding, the cougar took off after her trying to catch up.

Chenoan was running along, as fast as he could with his currently sapped energy when he felt a sudden pressure in his ankle, followed by the twinge of being bitten. Attempting to still run, in the hopes the creature would let go (whatever it was) Chenoan turned his head back around to so the mildly familiar form of a young wolf. "Kashii?" He said, trying to remember if it was Dazadi's son's pet. Chenoan had only seen the creature a few times, every time he was being attacked by the mongrel, but still Chenoan couldn't come to hate the creature any more than he dislike Sacha for attacking him when he was around Dora. It was the beasts nature, and at the very least, Chenoan could always subdue the canine long enough to get out of it's jaw grip without injuring it more than mildly.

Feeling the wild hound clamp down harder, Chenoan gritted his teeth slightly, the pain was merely a pinch compared to other things he'd felt, but there was no way he could keep running with this hindrance attached to him. slowing to a stop Chenoan twisted his body a bit in a rather odd way so that Kashii was unable to bite him as the aide gripped the rough of her neck. Gripping tightly, Chenoan used his other hand to pop her snout firmly once as he yanked backwards. The wolf did not, however, let go and the effort served only to yank out a portion of Chenoan's flesh so much that it would take more that one day to heal, even with being an aide.

Not taking time to think of the pain, Chenoan followed through on his tug, sending the not yet matured wolf sliding across the cobblestone road, far enough away that Chenoan was able to take of running again, this time making sure he was going fast enough to evade the predator's inevitable following. Completely oblivious to the large cats that were passed him now and through the portal, Chenoan realized that Dora had also gone through the it. But to where.

Seeking out his only love with his mind, Chenoan found her still unconscious somewhere in the cloud palace. "Is Daz taking her there?" Chenoan wondered as he approached the portal and, Dora in mind, stepped through it towards the Anyeli sanctuary.

If you could buy relief, Valinir would buy as much as he could without being wiped out. Yes, there were pain relief tablets, and all sorts of remedies to one's pain, but what about emotional relief? How come people hadn't figured these things out yet? Eh, the Chinese were always claiming that they could sell you relief in the form of herbal remedies. And then that bubble bath stuff called Radox always claimed it could 'soothe your mind and relax your soul!' In fact, you would have to be a fool to try them. Because none of them ever worked. Valinir always found that distractions worked best to gently tug his mind away from his worries (aka Terra, the disappearing -squeal-) and troubles. Like walking. Peaceful strolls were always a way to calm oneself down, just as long as nothing appeared that would upset Val.

Market Street was a place that Valinir had not been to before. In fact, he hadn't been to many places in Elysia, save that fact that he'd only been there, what? A few days, weeks..... Whatever. He was seriously losing track of time, it felt as i the world was now revolving in some parallel way. Time stopped (he wasn't on drugs, not in the least) and started again, weird things could be seen.... Like the two big cats Valinir stared at, who were not speaking to each other in animalese (or whatever animals did) but in fact with human voices. As they passed through the portal, he shook his head in disbelief, feeling that they were mere hallucinations..... Yeah, that was right. He scrunched his eyes shut for a moment, and focused on the empty darkness. When he opened his eyes, he'd find that he'd just been in some bizarre Matrix, and now, he would be back home, and everything would be okay...

But to no avail. Upon opening his eyes, Valinir did indeed find that he was still in Elysia, in the Market Street, and right now, some man was throwing a wolf across the street.... Couldn't things just run smoothly for once? You could say that Valinir was hoping for things that were probably nigh impossible (Oh, Xanth help him) and that things would run in the opposite direction that he wanted them to.... Leaning against the nearest wall, the male simply stood there, and waited..... Waited for something to happen. Yeah. He'd always been too calm and laidback to really care about things that were happening around him, but sooner or later, something was bound to happen. This was of course, not a normal world.

(*cough* Sorry, I forgot to say this earlier. ¬¬ Terra, Valinir's sister, played by Emma.)

Terra hurried down the main street, looking left and right, hoping she'd spot her brother somewhere around here. She'd already been to Rowan in search of him, thinking he'd be smart enough to stay in about the only place that was safe for their kind, and was annoyed that she'd come up empty. If he wasn't in the Underground and had wandered off where he'd get himself killed, she was going to wring his scrawny little neck.

As she peered into shop windows, her pace quickened, her strides choppy with aggravation. Valinir never did what she expercted and she didn't have time to search for him. She was so busy looking for him that her eyes skipped right over him - and then her brain caught up and she looked again, sighing with relief when she realised he was safe. Though standing there with his eyes shut was asking for trouble.

Marching across to him as he opened his eyes, Terra planted herself square in front of him and glared. "Do you have a deathwish? You shouldn't be out of here, you should stay in the sanctuary." Pushing her glasses up her nose, she sighed. "What are you doing out here anyway?"

Up went Valinir's eyebrow.

Seriously. He wasn't expecting Terra, nor did he really want to see her at this very moment in time. She was looking as flustered as ever, to which Val rolled his eyes at.

Do you have a deathwish? Wow, that was harsh. Nothing like trying to build up someone's confidence, eh? What she probably didn't know was that he was barely registering her words, to him, she was just an inanimate object, at the moment. He watched her push her glasses up her nose, then shrugged. "Why do I always have to do what you want me to do?" he snapped. That was a first for Valinir. Hell, he'd never stood up to her in all of his life. Come to think of it, he'd rarely been annoyed, irritated or angry before.

"Stay in the sanctuary!" he mocked, rolling his eyes once more. "Aw, that'd be the best place for a defenceless little boy like me, wouldn't it?" He cut himself short, and sighed gently. "I'm bored, is all. I have nothing to do, and you had me worried sick. Besides, what difference does it make?" In all of those years of growing up with Terra, he'd found that he couldn't win. Strength, life, she always seemed to beat him down about things. Or at least kick his -donkey- at every board game they played. Years of finding the perfect strategy for Monopoly.... and she'd even found a way around that. Scrabble, Cluedo, whatever.

Guess that's what comes with being the youngest.

(played by Dora)

The moment his fingers dug into her flesh, Kashii clamped down harder, a hard whine of pain emitting from her vocals. It was painful to be grabbed by the scruff of the neck, and it severly -yoinks- her off. Wanting to use the Aide's leg as a chew toy, Kashii tried to grind down on his flesh. She could feel it ripping inside her mouth, his blood oozing out onto her awaiting tongue. Lapping up the warm metallic liquid, she tried to ignore the pain she felt from him tugging on her flesh. He he began to pull harder however, it was too much for her to handle, and her jaws opened, giving the Aide leverage to toss her across the stone floor. Skidding with force, her body twisting to keep herself from falling into a barrel roll, Kashii howled in frustration and pain. By the time she got her bearings back however, the Aide was gone, the portal rippling softly from the disturbance.

Pulling herself to her feet, a small mini rage building within, the small wolf pup looked around her for something to take her aggression out. Eyes landing on a pair of humans, at least, human to her, she growled furiously, and rushed forward. Lowering her head to the ground, she jerked it up quickly, letting out an ear piercing howl. Within a matter of seconds, she found herself face to face with the marine shifter, her jaws parted and ready to attack. Leaping forward, Kashii's mouth moved to lock onto the mans crotch, sadly for him, the closest area that the pup could get to.

Walking out of the door, his anger melting rather quickly, Wolf headed toward the portal, not caring if he had armor or not. He couldn't wield a weapon, well, he couldn't really do anything. He'd just go in fists ready. At the moment however, his mind was on Piper, and what she'd done to him in his shop. Or rather, what she'd done to him in her shop. Wolf wasn't used to emotions like that. Just like his mother refused to fess up to the emotions his father gave her, Wolf wasn't interested in the ones he felt for Piper. He knew he loved her, but that was the extent of it. Up until she'd died. He'd never cried, not once in his entire life. Except for when he was a baby, and the first time he had, it had been over Pipers death.

Finding himself getting angry again, his mind wandered back to Sacha. If that damn cat didn't watch her, he would seriously hurt it. he didn't know how, but he would. Scowling to himself, Wolf found himself before the softly shimmering portal. Looking up, not seeing anyone around him, he let out a sigh, making his way to a nearby bench, plopping down upon it. He knew Suka was going through a hard time, especially with what his mother and father had done to him, but this was just idiotic. If he didn't think others would come after him, he was more stupid than Wolf thought. Perhaps not a lot of people liked him. Of the top of his head, Zephyr... that, brute of a dragon, and some... male vampire. The two who he'd gotten into bouts with.

Cursing loudly, bringing his hand to his head, he wished he could will the memories away. Even if he wanted to, he couldn't focus. His memories, his own life, was being pushed away to make room for the lives of others. It was no wonder blue dragons were known to go insane. if he wasn't already... he had no doubt he'd have been one of the ones. Crossing his arm, his eyes staring blankly at the portal, Wolf waited for the others to arrive, so he could go get Suka and come home.

Daz rematerialised near the underground portal expecting to find Wolf in the midst of a battle with a leg or an arm hanging off and his body ravaged. At the very least he could have the decency to look upset or even just a little bit hurt. She'd ditched her dying husband in order to save her son from certain doom and, upon seeing him calmly sitting on a bench as if he hadn't a care in the world, Daz saw red.

"I'm going to kill her!" she raged, snarling at her son, tears still streaming down her cheeks as she felt Kade's pain. "Where is she? I hope you don't want to keep that little idiot around because it's tough luck if you do, I'm going to wring her scrawny little neck!" And as soon as she was done, she was going right back to her lifemate's side to make sure he didn't die again. She couldn't survive it if he died, not again.

Too impatient to wait for Wolf to tell her where his brat of a girlfriend was, Daz scanned his mind, too upset to worry about the consequences. She didn't even remember in that moment that he was mad at her, that he'd learned what she'd done to Suka, so consumed was she with reaching Kade... just as soon as she'd taught that silly little girl not to summon her unless it was absolutely necessary.

What she found in Wolf's head stunned her silent, though, and her shoulders and wings slumped in defeat. She suddenly felt much older than she really was. Part of her dismissed Suka's idiocy as none of her business but even now, with Kade badly injured, Daz couldn't let Suka do this alone.

Gazing into her son's startling eyes with all the sadness and grief and guilt she'd been feeling since the Hind captured her, Daz whispered, "I'll take care of it." It was a promise she intended to keep. She had to believe that Lia would take care of her husband... if the wyrm failed to keep him alive... Mere moments after her arrival, Dazadi poofed away again.

Stepping through the portal, Destiny on her heels, Kaida paused just outside it, her eyes taking in her surroundings. It seemed... forever since she'd last been to the market. Actually... the last time she was here, she'd attacked Piper in her shop. Smirking to herself, Kaida's eyes wandered to the vampires set up, taking in the look of the place. Of course she'd have the glass fixed by then. Kaida had gotten a pretty nasty scratch from breaking through it. Very nasty actually. A few inches deeper and it could have seriously done damage to her shoulder.

Turning to look at Destiny, she furrowed her brow slightly. The girl probably thought they were here to exact revenge, but that was hardly what they were there to do. She wasn't ready, that much was proven when she'd blindly attacked Falaris. No, at most they were there to scope out their target. To see just exactly how she could get her revenge. Although... Zephyr was powerful... it would take a lot to take him down. And Destiny would have to do it alone. She was curious though... if the shifter really could kill the Dragon. Of course it didn't matter to her, she had no feelings for the man anymore, but it would most certainly be interesting.

Finding her gaze returning to Piper's shop, she crossed her arms as the girls boyfriend left. She wasn't certain, but Kaida figured he was the reason for the Vampire going soft. She'd gone soft when Max had been involved... which Piper was accepting of. She should have known then. Smirking slightly, she spoke over her shoulder to Destiny, without once looking away. "Let's have a little fun..." Shifting quickly into her smaller fox form, Kaida bolted forward, her direction that of Pipers shop.

Destiny stepped through the portal her heart still racing from her encounter with Kaida in the forest. Looking around the underground a shiver went up her spine as her eyes found the weapons shop. She knew she wasn't ready for Zephyr yet but part of her wished that she was. "Let's have a little fun..." Kaida's words brought her back to where she was. Seeing Kaida shift she shifted into her smaller Cape fox form and followed her.

Weaving in and out through the crowd Destiny's ears picked up on various noises. She hadn't seen piper at all but she did know her way to the shop well enough to realize where Kaida was taking her. "I wonder what she means by fun..." Destiny wasn't as mad at Piper as she used to be but still there was something in her that just did not like the vampiress. She wondered what Kaida was planning on them to do. surely another attack on Pipers life would not be ignored this time...

Alterna looked down at the cobbled stones and felt her paws spread out on each stone. Hopefully the owner of Piper's Boutique would be all right. She'd heard the phone ring and hoped that the phone call had been to the police. Alterna tried to get the incident out of her head, getting in the middle of things wasn't something she did. Slowing down, Alterna slowly lumbered over to the side of a building and lay down next to it. It was pretty hard being a non-experienced shifter in a city. She couldn't stay in human form for long and that was the form she had to use to speak to people. Sighing, Alterna decided that maybe she could take a nap, even if the cobblestones made it a bit uncomfortable. Placing her bag by her belly, she curled up, her tail touching her nose.
Later in the day... Alterna lifted up her stiff body from the ground. Perhaps it was best to head to the sanctuary for some sleep. There wasn't exactly anything happening here and she needed something to do. Shaking herself, Alterna lazily trotted over to the nearest portal, thinking of the underground Rowan Caverns.
