We are an Semi-Cannon alternate timeline 10th Pass Pern with a tactful slight canon aftertaste
We are a Sandbox pern- Members control and guide what happens
We currently have No Whers, but a plot is in the making to re-introduce them.
We currently have a Clutch on the Sands, with one Queen
We have several plots open on the site for introducing new specis to pern.
Vylless Weyr currently has Two major holds under its protective range: Azoria Hold and Rsion Hold

We currently have Two moderator slots open as well as a Second Admin slot.

..:: Events as of November 15th, 2013 ::..
    • A small clutch hardens on the sands. Who its from no one has discovered yet. What is known, is that Our Senior Queen is currently taking care of the clutch and will be rising for her flight soon. 10 Eggs sit hardening upon the Sands with A Queen egg among them.

    • Still, the unknown clutches origins are the talk of the Weyr, and with rumors of Benden Weyr wanting to cause trouble spreading, Everyone is Tense. A Good clutch is just what the Weyr needs to relax.


    • The local flitters have been showing signs of unease as of late, and a new Tunnel has been discovered under the Weyr. As it has yet to be explored, no one knows what it leads to, and everyone is more then a little curious.

    • Rumors of strange colors and coloration's have been spreading through Pern. No one has seen any yet but that doesn't mean they don't exist. There have also been Rumors of odd creatures sighted running through the Sands at Igen, and through the Rivers near Azoria and Rsion Holds.

    • Disaster continues as the winter grows colder. Everyone is afraid a blizzard is soon to hit. On clear nights strange reports of a new planet have been seen in the skies of Pern. Rumors that it's moving closer come from the Star Crafters every day. Thread has began to fall lightly, and with the winter snows, Riders have been giving their best to keep pern safe.
  • The new Weyrwoman is settling into her position and trying to get things in order. With the old Weyrleaders guiding her, things are still a bit skeptical.
  • Tensions are beginning to run high between the Weyrs with Ista and Fort sticking close to Vylless. Benden Weyr and Igen are still trying to get a seat of power inside the new Weyr.

  • It seems the Weyrleaders of Igen is still skeptical of Vylless and its new Weyrwoman, however, for now, they have grown quiet, instead of publicly protesting Vylless Weyr and its new direction. However, few Searches are being allowed in Igen, meaning there are fewer candidates from the Holds.

  • We could always use more Dragon Candidates
  • We currently have quite a few plots open and waiting for new members.



Vylless: Survival is a Semi -canon Weyr set in the 10th Pass of Pern. We are accepting applications for candidates, mature dragonriders of all colors, crafters, and weyrfolk. We have various site included plots planned and interesting twists around each corner. Right now, our dragon colors include the five canon colors, and one Sport color. We also have lots of fun for Whers and wherhandlers planned in the near future, so if you are a lover of these photophobic little creatures, feel free to check it out.
