[Castalia]

As being one of the first at the party Castalia saw most of the guests arrive. She recognized only few of them as they were either cleverly disguised or she simply didn't know the people.

While trying to decide if she should join the girls that had started dancing she suddenly noticed a familiar face entering the party ... Kaida ...
Ofcourse she could have expected that Kaida would be invited aswell but she hadn't actually given it any thought. Knowing that Kaida was still pretty upset Castalia decided that it would be best to stay clear of her. As much as she wanted to patch things up with the shifter, Kaida had made it pretty clear she wasn't ready for that yet.

As she was occupied with those thoughts she didn't notice the blond-haired womand walking up towards her. Then as she was greeted she looked up into the friendly face of Daoine. "Hi there yourself" she smiled at her old friend; "I've been good, and you?" as she decided to make some smalltalk to Daoine to get her mind of Kaida.

[Naava]

Naava walked onto the scene. Although noone could see her she was still dressed up, as much as a shade can be dressed up at least. "Maybe Dora will be here..." She thought, feeling slightly stupid being here. Walking up to various people she amused herself by shoving her hands through them. After awhile she sat down on the ground. "This bites..." She thought.

[Niles]

Niles was trying to figure out how to eat or drink something given he had no arms. If I have a drink...am I a cannibal? He smiled to himself. He looked round to see if maybe there was something he cold use when he spotted Kaida.

What on earth? It took him a second to recognise her in her costume, what on earth is she wearing? Evidently she had decided not to wear the costume he had sent her, which he could understand, it was rather silly. But what she was wearing, well, he didn't think Kaida would ever wear anything like that. It was pretty revealing.

He approached her, as he walked his coke can costume moved from side to side, an odd side indeed. "Hey, Kaida!" He walked up to her, deciding not to comment on the outfit outright, incase he offended her, "So, um, what exactly are you?"

[Lily]

Lily smiled as her favourite song began playing; to express her pleasure she enthusiastically spun on the spot, fluttering her wings to keep her balance and gain momentum. One... two... three times she spun, her arms flailing in a way that somehow managed to look elegant rather than wild. As she slowly came to a halt she cast a quick look around the area; it seemed the party was getting much busier, an observation which caused Lily to smile. Busy parties were often the best ones, she knew from experience.

She stopped looking around and turned her attention back to dancing and her fellow dancer when she heard the girl in the skunk outfit reply - so Alieh was her name. Such a pretty name, Lily reflected before replying to Alieh's question. "Um, no, I came here on my own. I nearly forgot about the party, to be honest!" She gave a small giggle, remembering her brief indecision as to whether to go to the Halloween Party, and then the mad rush to find an outfit somewhere in the mess that was the inside of her wardrobe. "How about you?" She asked as she once again curiously scanned the crowd.

Her bright blue eyes were still wandering about when they fell upon someone in a witch outfit who looked vaguely familiar... Lily smiled as she realised it was Criera, an Anyeli she had met at the Sanctuary. Lily greeted her with a grin, overjoyed at how friendly people seemed to be tonight. Listening half to the song and half to Criera, she brightly responded; "Hi, Criera! It's nice to see you again. Yeah, sure is a great party. I can't wait to see what's going to happen on the stage." She had noticed the stage a little earlier while she had been dancing alone, and had immediately gotten excited about it, remembering her former career in the acting field. She smiled brightly at her two companions as she danced, shuffling slowly as the song came to an end.

But I will try to get online as much as possible. And Amber, I love Niles' costume! I can't believe you actually made it, it looks very cool. And yes, I do feel thirstier...))

[Scarlett]

Scarlett entered the forest, using her vampire senses both to see her way, and also to help her hear the noises of the party. As she made her way quickly through the woods, she couldn't help but being slightly excited, she had yet to meet many of the Elysian's yet, and a night where anyone could be whatever they wanted to be seemed like the perfect opportunity for meeting new people and making friends - or at least people who could help her should she require it.
As she emerged into the clearing Scarlett's jaw dropped slightly. Despite her somewhat cynical approach to partying as a whole, she couldn't help but be slightly awed by the decorations and all the effort that had been put into this night.
Emerging fully, Scarlett picked her way among the many guests, hoping to see somebody she knew. Looking around, she saw some girls dancing, as well as a few groups of people lingering around the edges. Keen as she was to dance, firstly she didn't want to dance alone - and she eagerly continued looking for anyone she knew, be it her brother, Piper or even Vyon. Secondly, Scarlett felt slightly uncomfortable in her get up. Making the most of her vampire heritage, she had worn a dramatically sleeved, slit at the leg and waist black dress, and she was not so sure of herself with her whole body on show.

[Alieh]

Alieh laughed, she could never have forgotten a Halloween party, she loved them, it had taken her ages to convince Eilidh to come in costume, although where she was Alieh didn't know. "I'm here on my own too, although my brother is here somewhere." She looked round, but in vain, there was no point trying to spot someone in all these cotumes, he could be anyone.

"Yeah, sure is a great party. I can't wait to see what's going to happen on the stage." Alieh looked round, she hadn't spotted it before. I wonder..

"What do you think they'll do? Maybe a play or something?"

[Lily]

Eyes fixed on the stage whilst she danced, Lily thought about what Alieh had said about her brother whilst the shifter went on to comment on the stage. A brother, huh - Lily was quite surprised; she'd never heard of siblings in Elysia, and so had naively thought there weren't any. Of course, the fact that she was an only child probably didn't help her any in understanding the concept.

Putting her confusion aside, Lily realised she had almost completely missed what Alieh had just said. Something about.. a play? "Oh!" Lily suddenly gasped, clasping her hands together gleefully. "That would be wonderful! I love plays!" She swiftly spun around on the spot, excited about the prospect of a play. Or it could be... Lily cast another thoughtful glance at the stage, an idea slowly forming in her mind as she attempted to calm herself down by dancing more slowly. "Or maybe Xanth is going to come to the party, or one of the Aides, and appear on that stage." She voiced the idea aloud. She had to admit, she didn't know much about the Aides or even Xanth, but Lily was curious and wanted to learn more about them, maybe even see them if she could.

[Alieh]

Alieh ked over at the stage, "That would be cool! And, probably pretty likely, I've never actua;y met Xanth or an Aide - other than Chenoan, but that was before he became one - but from what I've heard they appear to mortals quite often."

She looked round, maybe hoping to see an Aide, r the Godess herself hiding in the shadows, but of course, that was stupid, if they didn't want to be seen, they simply wouldn't be seen.

"What do you think they'd talk about? If they made a speach or something?"

[Kaida]

Kaida lifted her eyebrow as she looked at the human coke she saw to be Niles. Immediatly she wondered why he'd buy her such an alluring outfit, but not dress in one himself. Feeling a little ineasy, she looked down at her outfit. I don't know. Shouldn't you? She asked.

Taking this moment to look around, yet again, she condn't really tell who was who. Not that she cared much. She didn't know many people, and those she did know, she really didn't want to talk to. Niles was probably the only acception. After her confrontation with Vyon, she really hoped she wouldn't see him here. Then again, it looked like everyone and their mother showed up. She assumed she'd be meeting quite a few faces she didn't particularly want to see.

Looking back at Niles after her unsucessful sweep of the party she raised an eyebrow at his costume again. You look like a dork. She said bluntly. Halloween wasn't her thing, and dressing up silly made it worse. At least what she was wearing had potential in the real world. As outragious as it was. Hell, you'll probably win the trophy for bet costume or somthing though. She told him, trying to let him know she wasn't trying to be a -squeal-.

[Niles]

Niles cocked his eyebrow, Why would I know? He glanced at it, but looked away again, he didn't feel very comftorble looking at it. He just wasn't that kind of guy,

At her comment about him being dorky, he just laughed. "If you can't look dorky on halloween when can you?" It was true, sometimes you needed an excape from reality. "But back to what you said, why would I know what your outfit is? Is it some joke we had I don't remember?"

[Eivyonydd]

Vyon had been sprawled on a log soaking up the atmosphere of the party for a while now. He missed his old friends from New York, and a gigantic party like this brought back memories of all the good times he’d had with them. But he had also made quite a few new friends while he had been in Elysia, people that were more or less like him, and given that he had decided to embrace this new life, it was best not to reminisce on the past too much.

He watched the partygoers enjoying themselves, playing games, dancing and chatting. He even recognised a few of them, though some he thought best to avoid right now. On the other hand there were others he was quite looking forward to seeing again.

Vyon watched as Scarlett walked in, looking like she wanted to party, but seemingly a little self conscious in her revealing outfit. He finally decided it was time to stop soaking up the atmosphere of the party and time to start enjoying it.

He glided over to Scarlett, aware of the fact that he wasn’t wearing that much either, hoping her attention might be diverted to his antlers rather than his slight tattooed chest.

“I hope you’re having a nice evening,” he smiled as he neared her. Moving around her in the crowd he added, “you look stunning.”

[Jade]

Seeing Vyon she told the shopkeeper
Back in a minute. then ran over to Vyon
Hey Vyon! How have you been? she said then added with a giggle
Lyf and Kaeldra decided they would start a new tradition without me so they stuck there heads in cider in bobbing for toys. she said with a grin then noticed his tattooed chest and raised her eyebrow
Someone’s going all out for Halloween, huh?

[Eivyonydd]

As Jade came over, slightly interrupting his moment with Scarlett, he smiled warmly at her, laughing at her story about her friends and their new tradition. They had been through a lot together on the mountain and it was nice to see she seemed to be feeling better.

“Someone’s going all out for Halloween, huh?”

Vyon laughed again and nodded. Splitting his attention between the two girls, quietly hoping that Scarlett was listening, he told them about his outfit.

“Yeah I kind of wanted to play on my Nymph heritage and the fact that I’m a guy, so I’ve gone for a king of the forest sort of theme. That’s what the antlers are all about. The rest just kind of fit.”

“Though it’s hard to know if I look good or not,” he added. “There aren’t that many mirrors in the grove. I ended up doing the tats while staring at my reflection in the lake surface,” he laughed.

[Kaida]

Kaida frowned. You didn't send this to me? She asked heatedly. She was begning to feel as if she was dirty. Wearing something like this for Niles... well. That was one thing. Wearing something like this from a stranger, that was just... creepy. Kaida began to scan the room again looking for anyone who might be looking at her. She might not be able to see who they are, but she notices behavior. And no doubt, if someone sent this to her, they'd want to see what she looked like in it.

Moving closer to the human Coke can that was Niles, she attempted eo shield herself, becoming more and more aware of the fact that every curve she had was on display. Of course, she felt she looked good. And it wasn't as if she was wearing something showing major skin, but it wasn't what she was used to. Why did I even come here? She asked herself.

[Scarlett]

Scarlett started slightly as she felt Vyon's breath on her bare skin. Turning around, her face broke into a smile - partly out of relief, but also because she was happy to see Vyon, the compliment he had paid her also increased her happiness.
"Hey you. Nice antlers!" Scarlett smiled again, she had obviously noticed Vyon's attractiveness before, but face to face with him again reitterated it for her. She couldn't help glancing down to his defined chest, slightly impressed when she noticed his tattoo's, fake they may have been, but they were certainly interesting looking. The fact he had played on his heritage made her warm to him even more, she had done exactly the same - and she liked the fact that they seemed to think along similar paths.

[Maximus]

Max stepped into the forest, adjusting his hat in the reflection of Fae River. The party venue was obvious to him-Fae Tree could be soon from almost the entire forest, the lights were strung so high. After battling through some longer grass, Max reached the fringes of the party, realising he didn't recognise anyone-then a sigh of relief. Tom's sister-was her name Scarlett?-stood speaking to someone Max knew only by sight. He walked over to her with a grin.

"Hi Scarlett!"

[Lily]

Lily was surprised (yet again; the night seemed full of them) to hear that Xanth and the Aides often deemed to appear to mortals; she had to admit, she had automatically stereotyped them as being haughty and cold in their power, and hadn't thought they'd actually be friendly. Then again, she reconsidered, her eyes widening, Alieh hadn't said they were friendly, just that they often appeared to mortals... maybe they appeared just to mock and tease and... Lily frowned a little at her own suspiscious thoughts, physically shaking her head and closing her eyes briefly to rid herself of the uncharacteristic doubts. She supposed the Halloween mood was having an effect on her, making her view matters in a more sinister light. Reassuring herself that the goddess and her aides were probably wonderful and friendly, Lily paid no heed to her earlier thoughts and thought instead of dancing, and perhaps trying some of those tasty snacks a little later on in the night, smiling as she did so.

"What do you think they'd talk about? If they made a speach or something?" Lily looked at Alieh, her mouth a small "o" shape. She hadn't thought of that... what sort of things do goddesses talk about? She wondered, nibbling her bottom lip as she thought, still dancing casually. "Erm... maybe she'd just welcome us to the party and... er..." Lily brightened as she thought of something, and suggested her thought with a grin; "Maybe she'd act out a play or something -- with the Aides! That would be amazing!" She had no clue if any of them had any acting ability, but it would still be something worth seeing. She giggled at the thought of it, swinging her arms in an excited manner.

[Tom]

Tom finally made it to the trunk of Fae Tree. He hoped his costume wasn't too dodgy-he hadn't been planning to attend the party, as the petshop had a late food delivery. However the driver had arrived early, and Tom didn't see why he should miss out on all the fun. His costume was a little thrown together, but he'd rather be here than alone in the store. He caught his breath for a moment, looking around for Piper. He wondered who she'd be with, but couldn't see anyone he even vaguely knew.

[Aithe]

Aithe picked up a chocolate covered eyeball and opened her mouth to toss it in. Her hand travelled up in front of her face before it came to a hault. Out of the corner of her eye she had seen someone dressed in a radiant yellow. Of course, there was only one person with that kind of taste...and that was Daoine.

The chocolate began to melt slightly against her warm flesh, and soon the dragon dropped it onto the grass to say hi to her friend. Oh damn...looks like Daoine already found someone to converse with.... Her hands slumped her her side and she crossed her arms loosely. Though I am hosting this party, so I think I can be excused from being rude...

I hate to dash off like this, Eshaw, but I must get to the other guests and such. You know. Hostess thing. Aithe managed a weak smile, then strolled off in the direction of the dragon. It just so happened that one of her...least liked aquaintances, Max, entered at the very moment. She scowled. :potty:! Why couldn't that idiot just stay home?

[Scarlett]

"Hi Scarlett!"
Scarlett turned, wondering who could possibly be speaking to her. It was a male voice, but she knew it wasn't her brother. Her forehead creased slightly as she tried to remember the mans name, suddenly it came to her.
"Hi Max, nice to see you again." Scarlett smiled broadly, as she went to touch his arm in recognition.
