Looking past her at Lily, he widened his eyes as to say "see what i mean?", and nodded in Kaethe direction. And as Kaethe had her back to him, he took the opportunity to try and get Lily's attention. Making the motion with his hands and eyes, he gestured toward the ledge of the building, and for them to fly off and head to scantuary. Suka gave her a bright smile in hopes that she'd trust him, and they could get out of here before Kathe ruined everything for them. Even if Lily agreed, and they did fly, Kaethe could follow. But if she didn't know where they were going, she wouldn't be able to once they were in the portal. And that, would be perfect.

Aiden smirked slightly at that, watching Kaethe as she spoke to Lily. Though she was friendly and polite in behavior, there was a stiffness in it that made her actions inauthentic. Something was buried under the layers of her words, and it reminded Aiden of Suka. What their words really meant were unclear.
She spoke condescendingly to all of them, and her manner left a dent in his perception of her. Aiden looked from Suka to Kaethe. Whatever was between the two of them had changed them. Either that or Aiden never knew the two of them. Perhaps that was it.
Sensing that he had no part in this gathering of anyeli, Aiden lifted a hand in a waving motion. "Our little reunion was refreshing, but I must go. See ya sometime," he said to the two of them. He grinned in a friendly manner at Lily, who was no doubt stuck in the struggle between the older anyeli. "It was nice meeting you, Lily. Perhaps we'll meet again."
With that, the color of his skin blended into that of his hair. A cat took the place of Aiden and sprinted toward the stairs. He was sorry to leave Lily with the two, but he was tired of the stuffy atmosphere.

Suddenly Kaethe had disappeared, and Lily felt more at ease; but then she reappeared, and began conversing with Suka. Even Lily could sense the tension between the two and fiddled with her fingers anxiously, looking away and trying not to focus on their words - although she found that difficult, seeing as their heated words referred to herself at points. She hated arguments, and wasn't quite sure how to react to them; especially as this one seemed to revolve around herself and the Anyeli war. Feeling immensely guilty, Lily felt an odd urge to scream at both to just stop arguing, and was preparing herself to do so when she caught Kaethe's last comment.
"Life's not all death and violence, no matter how much some of us wish that was true." Lily's small mouth opened in shock as she looked at the approaching Arkiga. "Some of us wish that was true"? She wasn't surprised at Kaethe seemingly wanting war, after all, Suka had told her that himself. It was the fact that the Arkiga admitted it so openly that put a look of disbelief, then despair, in Lily's eyes, making them appear strangely cold; an odd feature in such an innocent face. Does Kaethe really relish death and violence so much? Lily wondered, fearful of this bold Anyeli. Fears that the war would re-erupt much sooner than she had anticipated plagued Lily's mind as she listened to Kaethe introduce herself, who seemed ignorant of the fact that they had met before.
"We've met before... My name is Lily, remember?" Lily replied unhappily, her sad eyes wandering over to where Suka and Aiden were as she unconsciously twisted her arms round by her side with her hands clasped in a nervous motion, making her appear smaller and more vulnerable than usual. She saw Suka's motions and responded with a confused expression, then finally got what he meant and smiled softly in response to his. He wanted them to leave... that would relieve her of this odd situation with Kaethe, but what about Aiden? Lily didn't feel comfortable about leaving him when she'd only just met him; but as she was wondering what to do, Aiden resolved the problem, waving a farewell and grinning at Lily. She responded with a smile of her own - not as bright as it might have usually been due to the circumstances - and replied, "Yeah, it was nice to meet you too, Aiden. Bye!" She called at his retreating form, smiling at the sight of the cute cat again.
Coming to a decision as to how to respond to Suka's motions and the awkward situation, Lily stepped back a few steps, and gave Kaethe a small wave - even if she was feeling uncomfortable about the Arkiga, it was against Lily's nature not to say goodbye to someone if she could. She then quickly ran up to the ledge, past Kaethe, launching herself into the air with as much thrust as she could muster. It's just one long glide, Lily reassured herself as she was carried into the air, but she soon felt comfortable enough not to need reassurance as she let the wind take her steadily down. Loving the feeling of flight, Lily looked back over her shoulder at Suka, to see if he was going to follow. She wasn't even sure where she was headed, but that didn't matter much to her now, as she let her worries be forgotten - well, almost - in the exhilaration of flight.
((Eep, sorry for the lack of reply for so long, haven't had all that much computer time recently and most of your probably know how long it takes me to write a reply -_- Anyway, sorry again.))

Thrusting his wings a few times, he propelled forward and easily caught up with the gliding Anyeli. Smiling at her, he continued to speak with the softness she was used to. Im sorry you had to deal with that. But running into that woman can't be avoided sometimes. As he flew next to her, he looked at her soft grey wings. Soon, they'd be sleek and black, just like his. If you get tired, ill fly in front of you, and you can follow in my wake. It should help. he told her.

She turned her head to look at Suka rather than the stars as he spoke - his soft words were a comfort to her after the harsh tones she had just heard. She hoped that she wouldn't have to endure anything like that again. Even thought she knew it was odd, Lily felt a little guilty about leaving Kaethe alone on the roof, despite the awkward situation. But she wants war; death and violence, Lily reminded herself, and so forgot the niggling feeling of guilt and focused instead on staying in the air and what Suka had just said. She didn't feel her wings tiring at all yet, but then again they hadn't been flying that long.
"I'm OK now I think, but thankyou." She smiled at Suka, grateful for his company and aid, before adding, "Has... has she always been like that?" Lily didn't quite understand why someone would like the idea of violence so much, and preferred to think that Kaethe had a reason for it rather than it just being her nature.

Shaking his head, he looked toward Lily. He could see how much stronger her wings were getting. She was almost ready. Nodding, he angled his body toward the portal just below. Follow me. When we get to the portal, tuck in your wings close to your body and dive through. I'll hold your hand. He said. If he held her hand, shed end up in the same place as him, without knowing where they were going.

Lily nodded in response to his words, blushing a little at the thought of holding Suka's hand again; she still remembered how he had held her hand back at the Anyeli library - he'd been so gentle.
The portal was approaching; Lily attempted to follow Suka's instruction by folding her wings in closer to her body and leaning forward to dive into the portal. But she had folded in her wings too early - she was suddenly sloping down towards the ground, rather than the portal. She attempted to flap her wings in order to gain height and get on the right path again, whilst grasping for Suka's hand so he could lead her through the portal, but found she couldn't quite gather enough wind under her wings.
Embarrassed, Lily didn't want to ask for help, and instead continued flapping her wings furiously, trying to remian optimistic that she would be able to pull herself up again, but the wind seemed to have died.

Angling his body to veer towards her, he positioned his wings so the updraft would hit him, allowing him to move above her. Falling back a bit, he ended up directly above her, and reached out encircling his arms around her waist. Although she was small, he could't quite fly with her easily. But gliding was a peach. Moving his face, he whispered in the crook of her neck by her ear. I gottcha. Now, tuck in your wings, were going through.
Holding her close to his body, he gave his wings a final thrust, and shot toward the portal. At the last second, he tucked in his own wings, as the portal engulfed their frames.

Now it was early evening, countless people were up here watching the sun set over the New York City skyline. Naaa headed to the railings to do the same when a young boy ran into her, nearly knocking her over. "Watch it you little brat!" Naava yelled, snarling at the boy.
The kid then proceed to call he a rather choice word and run off. "Human children are soooo annoying." She thought in irritance as she fially made it to the rail. "It's so beautiful..."

It's so beautiful... She heard someone say beside her.
Corali couldn't help but say I know...

Naava had not tolerence for people intruding on other people's affairs, unless she was the intruder of course. This intruder was also human, and she'd had enough human rudeness for the evening, even if she had caused most of it.
Naava returned herself to the glowing orange view. Each buildin became a line, diverting the light away. Though surprising to most, the ligh isn't what Naava was looking at, she was admiring the shadows, and dreaming of the days to come when she'd control them.

"Ooooh, yes, that would be fun." She thought sadistically. To be a vampire and simply incapacitate all who annoyed you. Naava fantasized about this while the girl continued her soliloquy. "I'm sorry, actually I'm not, I just don't care." Naava said when the human finally stopped running her mouth.
This post doesn't qualify as two paragraphs. Please extend your posts.

She laughed at the memory and looked at the Anyeli. She wondered what she was thinking about at the time. The girl broke the silence. I'm sorry, actually I'm not, I just don't care. Corali took this as a friendly apologize. It's okay, so what's your name? She wanted to get to know this girl.

Turning to face the woman, Naava glared at her. "Since you obviously are too thick to understand my subtleness, I'll be blunt to you. I don't want like you! In fact, I hate you! I do not want to get to know you, or want you to get to know me! So leave me alone!" Naava yelled ferociously. She hated being annoyed, a fact that her family had learned quickly. Especially after Naava had pulled a knife on Dora once. Sadly, Naava had been unable to do anything to her 'dearest' sister as their mother had intervened.
Sighing slightly at the memory Naava returned her view to the sunset. "As much as I loved mom, sometimes she could be such a joy kill." Naava thought as she rested her elbow on the rail, and her chin in her hand. Absentmindedly the anyeli began to twirl some of her hair as she stared off into the distance.

A cool breeze was blowing, causing Naava's raven dark hair to be blown about. She took in a deep breath of it's crisp lightness before stepping into the cramped box where her wings were uncomfortably pressed against her body more than they'd already been. Getting more and more cramped by the moment, Naava watched the numbers light up on the top of the wall. When she finally made it to the ground level and had some room to move, she turned and punched the disgusting man who'd attempted to come onto her in the tight confines of the elevator. Turning and heading for the portal, Naava sighed and decided that she'd head to the cloud palace and get herself settled there before doing anything else with her newly regained life.
