Having just discovered Elysia, Jana had been wandering for several hours - eventually stumbling upon what appeared to be a disused building. As usual, her curiousity got the better of her, and she'd soon found herself scrambling among the rubble, looking for a hideyhole. Eventually, she'd satisfied her need to explore, and had made her way up a crumbling staircase to a suprisingly sturdy beam.

Picking her way among the rotting floorboards, Jana eventually made herself comfortable against what might have once been a brick wall, and was now more air than brick. From her perch, she could see the street below, as well as the first story, and if she strained her neck through one on of the holes in the wall she could see along what looked to be like a slightly spooky alley.

"Lets see what the night brings.." Jana whispered aloud, entirely to herself, for as to her knowledge, there was nobody else in the area.

Aldea hurried through the busy strets of New York, glaring at the people who she'd bumped into for slowing her down. She turned into an alleyway and leant against the wall. She reached into her bag and brought out a thin glass tube. Inside, the red liquid churned about with bubbles fizzing continuously in the substance. 'I shouldn't keep putting this off.' She mumbled, gulping it down.

The tube slipped from her hand, smashing on the ground. Feeling her breath draining out of her, she gripped her chest and gasped desperately for breath. She felt something shooting up her throat, causing her to retch. Suddenly, there was silence. There were beads of sweat dripping down her face, her hands trembled. It was over.

Aldea got to her feet, wiping her mouth with a tissue. 'I shouldn't have gone to him, - meow - waste of time.' She muttered. Thrusting the tissue aside, she smoothed down her skirt and walked into the street, as if nothing had happened.

Jana sat in her perch, legs dangling below her to the floor below. As she sat, listening to the sounds of the unfamiliar city, she was convinced she could hear something. Concentrating further, Jana was sure there was somebody in the alley next to the building, cautiously she stuck her head out of one of the gaps. She had plans for herself, and knowledge was definetly the way to go about it.

As she watched a slightly flustered looking girl made her way into the alley, mumbling slightly as she came to a halt. Jana watched as the girl withdrew a small, bubbling tube from inside her bag. A small smile played across Jana's face - this was exactly the kind of information she needed.

Jana watched further as the girl drunk the liquid, before sending the glass tumbling to the ground, Clever... destroying all evidence. Jana thought to herself. Jana continued to watch silently as the girl wiped her mouth with a tissue and eventually left the alley, heading back onto the main streets.

"Very interesting indeed.." Jana said aloud - this time a happy tone in her voice.

Despite her earlier happiness at having found some information Jana was now bored - not only was she bored, but she was cold, and the familiar feeling of sickness that overcome her whenever she was in the city too long was beginning to take over. Sticking her head out of the hole in the wall, it seemed that nobody else would be making their way about tonight.

Swinging her legs out from under hair, Jana rose slowly, keen to remain unnoticed in the city, and also to try and reduce the nausea she could feel growing in her belly. Reaching her full height - unimpressive as it was, she made her way back to the staircase, again avoiding the most precarious looking floorboards.

Making her way down the stairs, she exited the same door she had entered through. Unwrapping the cloth she had tied round her waist the wound it around her upper torso, hoping to regain some warmth until she had made it safely back to the grove.
